Old world charm, yet hip. I have been passing through, sheltered and sustained here going on thirty years ...always , always worth it. I love St Kevin's arcade. Hearty. Inclusive. Grand. Bury me here!

Amazing spot with an interesting variety of shops and artwork. Good views to the sky tower and easy to find.

It's remarkable how this terrific arcade from 1924 has not only survived but is way better than 10 years ago. The Green Dolphin bookstore is the best place to buy books in K Road. Gemayzae Restaurant serves fantastic modern mid Eastern style food for sharing. Mo's barbershop is legendary for the sharpest men's hair styles in the area. And the Japanese bar is also totally fun to go to with friends. Best Japanese whisky selection in Auckland. I like this book focused place immensely. Stalgic Society is a great place.

Such an array of quaint shops and and an eatery. Superb. St Kevin's Arcade is an icon on Karangahape Rd.

Funky place, interesting eats and shops. Lovely view over the city. Go for a walk through Myers Park (during the daytime - best avoided the park at night or so I am told).

Work n Live here... so definitely is the best 👌. Can't wait to move into the new apartment in the arcade.

I love the vintage feels just as it is with a great view of the Sky tower. Worth the visit.

If only Auckland had more places with the vibe St Kevins arcade has. Lovely selection of small business stores and eateries, Bestie spilling out into the communal area down the end looks like a great space to eat and chill. Enjoy the graffiti wall on the way down to Myers Park.

Long time Auckland icon. Reinvented recently. Lots of unique little stores still and some new cafes.

It looks like it has recently been renovated and it looks really nice. This arcade provides a thoroughfare to Myers park from K Rd (Entrance between Sals and Lord of the fries). However there is more to it than that. This arcade contains speciality shops like bookstores as well as a few different restaurants and cafes. What lured me here recently was Acho's, a Japanese tapas restaurant but upon arriving I noticed that there are other places here that looks really interesting such as Gemmayze Street. Definitely worth visiting especially if you are looking for a place to eat.

Found Lord of the fries here and it tasted amazing

St Kevin's Arcade is really good every Monday in the evening they put on a meal for anyone it's a good place to go to for a quick meal plus there is a really good second hand book shop in there as well because not every book from the past is on the Internet witch I don't really understand at times because the books I've been reading gos back to the early 1980s and it's got stories in it that goes back to the 1800s in New Zealand no matter if your in the North Islands or South Island

A great feature of K road and definitely one of it's highlights. Theres an eclectic variety of stores inside guaranteed to garner the attention of most shoppers. The decor and feel of the arcade is really something out of a by-gone era and seeing that in itself is great. Parking is of course, non existent so don't expect to park up and by arm loads of stuff.

Found Lord of the fries here and it tasted amazing

Beautiful little arcade. Saint Kevin's arcade has been around for years. There is a few good cafes for a coffee and a sweet treat, and there are a few great little boutique shops. Adorable veiw of the city with easy access to the park to walk down town. Worth a look around if your up near k road

I love hanging out around here. Bestie cafe at the back has the best grilled cheese sandwich. Gemmayze opens in the evening, it's really really good. Mo's hairdressers is good. I got a good hair cut there. Great view of the Sky Tower day or night

St Kevins arcade seems to be in constant Flux. It had a shiny make over a couple of years ago, Now pop up shops rub shoulder with a new influx of bars and restaurants. It's still a great place to go to for a coffee and something to eat before a mooch around k roads bargain alleys.

Very nice place to have a cup of cofee & delicious gourmet sandwiches at Fort Greeney cofee shop, cozy family place run by the young owner couple.

One of the best places in Auckland, beautiful old arcade, many lovely shop and a buzzing vibrant atmosphere.

Trendy little shopping area with cafes, a burger place, florist, book store, clothing and apparel stores, to name a few. Great view while dining outside the cafe areas and stairs lead to the park outside. Accessible location just on K Rd.

Easy to parking spaces

No matter the time of day or evening St Kevins Arcade is always an eclectic, colorful mix of people, sights and sounds and exotic smells that excite the senses for a truly Auckland experience. From a coffee overlooking Myers Park, to browsing bookshops, handcrafted goods, something for all. Especially recommend " First Thursdays " on the first Thursday evening of each month.

Was a great place before a recent makeover. Allelujah gone. A bit sparse and vacant now. Mediocre Food outlets as can be found on K Rd. Nice way to get down to Myers Park down the stairs. Sadly the building owners have killed a cultural icon.

Great food and beer at the burger bar, great haircut at Mo's, and a range of other stores and services for pretty much everyone. If you want to chill you, you can, if you want a quick drink and a meal, you can.

Great place to visit and hang out if you’re looking for something near to the CBD but a bit different. A trendy cafe neighboured by great food spots and interesting, individual shops.

I spent a lot of time around K Rd once upon a time, and St Kevin's arcade is one of the places I remember fondly. It's a lovely old historic building with a cafe at the end that overlooks the park.

Boutique shops, good eateries. Very popular, has a good vibe.

The seating area towards the back used to be a 'shared area' now it's all segregated and ruled over by the waitresses, oppressivly. Not the friendly place it once was, in the days of Alleluia. Saving grace: Whammy, Wine cellar, Lord of the Fries, and David Merrit (poet) frequents the place.

St Kevin's has always been interesting but the recent upgrade has made it a great place to pop in for a vegan pie or a Japanese whisky.

I would give Kevin's Arcade a higher rating except there is coffee shop called "Besty". The barista was cleaning the espresso machine. He said he'd be right with us. An old Chum of his walked in and he made his friend's espresso before helping us. We walked out.

Some very nice quality food here from vegan to beef. Also interesting book and watch shop with nice indian curiosities. Also business like device cover shop with clean layout and helpful assistants

Some clowns must of had a party there, wish I was invited.

Met friends at feed the homeless and pretty much anybody else. Cooked 3course meal by 3 chefs and donation if you could afford it. Every Monday at 6p.m.. Awesome

Nice place for vintage articles and shopping. Entry to Myers park is there as well. One of the oldest shopping arcades in the city. Well worth the visit.

We went to GEMMAYZE ST here....LOVED it..Food was fresh and so yum...You have to ring to book a table otherwise be prepared to wait in line. No Parking outside and being on K'rd you will be lucky to find a park.

An icon of Auckland streets. Happy to pop in whenever I'm back in town. Glad all the lots are in use now also, really opens up K road and makes it approachable.

Good food places around but heaps of junkies near by.

Cute, quirky, hipster set of shops and cafes. I especially like matchbox and the bookstore. I hear there's a new burger joint moving in soon too

I could have a cup of coffee and see sky tower through big glass window. Definitely, there was a good atmosphere.

This iconic site keeps getting better and better. Great views of the park from the large glass windows, and awesome shopping - popular vintage/pinup shop Rita Sue is based here.

A lovely old arcade with cafe's and interesting shops right in the heart of Karangahape road, if you're hungry take a stroll there check out the many types of food all around this area.

Nice views, central location, highlights: turkish restaurant & the coffee shop at the back, and mo's hair dressing salon. Some second hand shops, and other "alternative" shops (a bit expensive).

Had a great lunch at Lowbrow - the Sammies are delicious and really enjoyed the Lowbrow lager and Gin & Chronic.

Since the take over and eventual further gentrification of k'rd, Kev's arcade has changed a lot HOWEVER the eating and drinking establishments here are sick. Shout outs to Royal Minki and Lord of the fries

If you like alternative shops that's a nice place to go. Located in the heart of K Road with easy acess by bus. Hard to find a park though.

This arcade is one of the most interesting I have been to...it's retro shops and amazing indoor plant decor by the cafe is definitely worth the visit

Between Tart and Lord of the Fries there are beautiful bookstores etc. My vegany hipstery literary nerd was so satisfied

At Kevin's is an alternative trendy place, curious mixture of the odd and cafe culture. Recommended for the adventurous.

It's like ponsonby but in k'rd. Most shops aren't open however during the weekend which is quite sad but the coffee on the corner never disappoints!

Auckland Icon. Refurbished and with lots of great cafes to choose from as well as boutique and retro stores. Lots of atmosphere.

Reno has done a good job of tidying this arcade up with some cool shops and eateries inside now but please don't lose the K road charm!

Was specifically looking for the corset lady that used to b in corner by stairs, any ideas where she moved to ? Other than that it was a Monday and a high proportion of the stores in the mall were closed

Saint Leven's Arcade is a short cut too the park which lies at the back of it Meyers park but to check that that is the correct name for it

Full of beautiful little boutique stores and a lovely café at the end. Love the indoor-outdoor feel and flow.

A few shops, cafés and restaurants. A small relaxing and calm place. You can walk straight through and out to the park.
