Great shopping area that will meet your requirements

Ah this was supposed to be for the Han San Vietnamese restaurant in Northwest rather than the shopping center as such. Don't know how that happened! Surprisingly good, have tried most of the other restaurants in this complex & they are OK, ( we are picky these days, aren't we?) but really enjoyed the variety on offer here. Maybe that was part of it, quite a bit of different food we were able to sample, and there is more yet to try. Personally I think I like Vietnamese style a bit more than Thai, but that's just my taste. Anyway if you are looking for something a little bit different at Northwest I'd suggest give it a try.

A great shopping center for all your requirements. You got Starbucks, doenuts, countdown, doctors, movies, pharmacies and many other retailers. Plenty of parking spaces and it never runs out even during the peak of Christmas. There is a Public toilet in the middle of car park which only take coins to operate.

Went to torpedo7 to get a bike but they were all sold out but luckily there's a small bike shop across the car park from them with plenty to choose from I got mine be quick if u want to get yours 🚲

Clean shopping mall although the ferns??? Need trimming back as it is quite hard to see traffic when exiting the car parks. Good variety of shops. Not much more to say.

Went there on a Sunday in March because saw frequent advertisements on Instagram. However, the place seems a bit run down? The food court in the middle was abandoned, plenty of car park spaces, restaurants and shops were lacking of customers… it is great to have big brands like Adidas, Puma, Skechers, etc. The centre also has a good variety of essential shops, but less lively compared to NorthWest shopping mall?

The car parks induce road rage that means you nearly get run over. I don't know what it is with the west side, but the folks aren't really pleased to see you, just your money. Maybe an investor or some security could change that, but yeah, if I have to go back, I'm arming myself with protection from mad drivers, and a painted on smile to encourage smiles from staff. The road management needs monitoring there

Felt a lot easier to access the stores I needed to get to (e.g, The Warehouse, Countdown, Crackerjack, Dunkin' Donuts😊😁 etc) The "other place across the highway" seems a bit disjointed(?). Might suit a lot of other people but not my "cup of tea". Lots of good parking options at Westgate, lots of new stores opening there (was that a Nike store?🤔🙂)....Anyway, I like this shopping complex. Its pretty good for us "olds" 😁

Nice shopping centre, love the newer stores that have now popped up, often first this area fortnightly. Only thing is driving around the shopping centre you need to be really careful, cars always going through the one way entrances etc. My recommendation would be to centre management to put some really clear no entry signs etc so it would refrain people from doing so, I’d do this now as that’s an disaster just waiting to happen. ( referring to the carpark where starbucks is through to the torpedo end)

Quick early morning call in to the Chemist Warehouse. Awesome service when looking for products, awesome variety of stock but better still lady on counter had superb customer service manner.

Good variety of shops in the mall We only went to Whitcoulls to buy a calendar. Not a big crowd of people there at the mall but they were behaving responsibly keeping social distancing etc so it felt a safe environment to be in. A safe Place to visit in these covid times.

There's plenty of parking, offering a wide range of shopping choices. It helps to know which shop you're looking for, to navigate your way around the complex. We specifically came to The Chemist Warehouse, it was busy. Asked one of the helpful staff for assistance, then left.

Ive been doing online shopping for the past few weeks with Countdown Westgate and am impressed that they have delivered perfect orders every single time. In the past Ive had so many problems with other supermarkets but so far Westgate has delivered nothing but perfection! They should be the example for the other countdowns on how to correctly pack orders!!

It is a great open shopping complex with a very big array of different types of shops to make your shopping experience so much easier. Lots of parking and they have a lot of different eateries in the complex. Great movie house to enjoy the latest releases. Definitely will recommend it to any future customers.

I really like this shopping centre. It has a unique layout and if you wish you can park right outside the store you wish to visit. Very convenient. I really miss CraftWorld which was a fabulous shop where you could purchase genuine locally made products. I also used to be a vendor at CraftWorld and the mall has definitely lost some of its charm since that store shut.

I enjoy the large number and variety of services available and retail outlets. Cafes, supermarket, banks and bulk supply complement the large expanse of traditional and a few upmarket retailers. Close access off the motorway, but requiring careful negotiation of roads leading to a huge number of almost-level parking spaces. Getting to "my shopping", beating the weather elements, can be a challenge many days of the year.

A good shopping centre with great shops but if you are going for the day or a long shop then you could get a fine in the parking lot.

Good super market, shelves well stocked, but the checkout operators don't like packing your bags, so better to go to pak nsave, as you expect to pack your own there but you save money there.

A functional place to shop, meaning that I stop here to buy then leave. It is not an attractive place to linger for too long. Most of the eating places face the car park. A few green places would definitely give the place a more vibrant, community feel.

We (my family) went to Westgate specifically to buy some Teva sandals that my daughter had seen advertised online by a shoestore and at an exceptionally good discount. Whilst we were there, we had a look around Westgate and did a bit more shopping and then took a stroll in the nearby park. A good shopping centre and a nice park. 👍 For us (living near Auckland CBD), Westgate Centre seemed a bit far to drive to go to buy one product from a single, but it was a good exploratory experience anyway. We would shop there again. _________________

We went to Events Cinema to watch a movie as a group of 5. The facilities were very clean and were not busy so we had lots of space. I was disappointed again that we have to pay such a high ticket price and then have commercials showing on the big screen (not previews of movies) prior to the movie starting. It has been a while since I have gone to a movie theater and I assume they are struggling because of things like Netflix as well as covid-19. But they have been showing commercials prior to all of this as well. This does nothing to encourage people to come and watch movies in a movie theater. I didn't time how long we had to wait for the movie to start (after the stated starting time) but last time it was 20 minutes. One of our friends had to go to the toilet less than 30 minutes into the movie and went out the wrong exit, he tried to come back in through the main entrance, but was unable to as it was locked. It is unfortunate that no staff would let him in as he could have proved that he had paid to see the movie. He ended up going to a bar to wait for us to finish. Overall it was a good experience, but there is room for improvement to the overall experience, especially cutting out commercials prior to the movie beginning.

A huge collection of shops with the added bonus of stand alone businesses like Pak n Save , Farmers, Bunnings, Briscoes etc . Handily located at the end of the North Western Motorway and able to be accessed from the North Shore as well the Western suburbs. Not as large as Sylvia Park or Westfield Newmarket this mall more than meets the needs of the local community.

More a shopping village than the generic mall , I feel store variety is more set up to cater for the day-to-day needs of the surrounding suburbs more than offering a boutique experience. Adequate free onsite parking.

This worked out to be a great visit with a number of stores we wanted to visit all within close proximity (Chemist Warehouse, Crackerjack and The Warehouse) . A little dwarfed by the developing North West Centre across the road, but still easy to access, a good range of stores in close proximity and plenty of parking on the day we visited.

Really really good shopping conglomerate with any possible variety of shop for any need. Me and my partner appreciated the daybeds that are offered at the Event Cinemas located in this shopping center. A bit hectic driving from one side to the other as a busy road is in between.

Very nice place, has all the facilities required. Staff are nice enough and served me well. I especially enjoyed the flirty female working when i came in. I enjoyed the place thoroughly and the services provided. Im unsure however weather i would come here i was suffering from any variation of hepatitis the vibe of the place also felt specially threatening to hepatitis A. Im unsure weather they would allow you to bring in an animal however big it may be. I would like to emphasize that i strongly feel hep A is not welcomed here.

Although it's a bit dated now, there's usually plenty of parking available. Be prepared to walk a lot; because everything is spread out you can often spend more time walking from one area to another than actually spending time in the shops. Hopefully with North West almost completed there'll be some new opportunities for new shops here to bring some life back into the old Westgate.

This is a new shopping center in West Auckland. It has a large car park and there are always some empty spaces. There is a very good range of shops and because they are relatively new they are most attractive. There are also a good range of eating establishments. The mall area is large and has a lot of natural light which makes shopping a very pleasant experience. It is well worth a visit.

This shopping centre is getting emptier and emptier. There are so many missing stores. The open air car park and the wide spread shopping area doesn't make it weather friendly or if you are carting the kids around. This place needs a major overhaul. Individually some shops a great, the Countdown is better than Northwests and the Warehouse is obviously a plus.

Definitely one of the must-visit shopping centers in the city. A lot of high-end shop options, plenty of parking spaces, traffic might be a just a bit of a problem but where is it not nowadays anyway? ♥️ Shopping made easy and convenient.. although I'm just not quite sure if that's a good thing 🤣

Overall, everything you would need. But just a bit dated. Some areas are looking a little bit tierd and being all outdoor access is a downside. The carpark is often a bit of a battle ground with people competing for spaces closest to the shop they want. Generally, a good place to shop, some renovations occuring in some parts, but still some modernisation to do.

I found the food court very spacious with plenty of seats & with a good selection of eaterys, the airconditioning was very cool & the tables were always cleared by the workers there which was great too see as with most food courts the plates & dishes are never cleared on the busiest times. I would return back to this mall only to eat being my first time having a good experience.

It's spread over such a huge area, it can at first be a bit daunting, but all the usual suspects are there. And there's an excellent Event Cineplex as well.

A large shopping centre with a large variety of stores. Plenty of parking everywhere and getting in and out is easy due to many roads around Westgate. Due to the new opening across the road it is looking a bit bare but atleast its made driving around there easier. Only public bathrooms i have seen require payment to get inside.

Well places shopping center. Easy to get in, get around, and get out. You could spend a day walking around to every shop, as well as a work out. I don't advice shopping when it's raining. There are very few over hangs to cover casual shopping and walking between stores.

Very large complex and growing currently, place is a bombsite in parts under construction. Heaps of franchise label shops here, public conveniences in middle of carpark costing. 50c to use. Massive carpark, new shops popping up all the time.

Such a big car park but mind you if you are not fan of real walking in thus huge mall then not good for you to carrying the bag. My self I love this area as the car park but not for your knee if you would like to near your car then need to plan where to park

All large chains are here across a large open air site. Many pop up stores also take advantage of the stores that have moved across to the NorthWest shopping centre across the road. Toilets can be found in the middle of the car park but you have to pay to use them. Torpedo 7 have just arrived in the site and are expanding to create the largest store in NZ. Parking is plentiful and easy to park outside whichever store you are visiting. Starbucks can be found on the site too.

I particularly loved the Warehouse Pharmacy. Spent far too long in there and spent far too much money on useful stuff that I felt I needed to buy in bulk because the prices were better than the super market prices.

This place is getting better, they are opening really nice restaurants and cafes, the shops are also improving and so is the access. Shame that they have a shared road for pedestrians and cars that crosses to the restaurants area, this is rather dangerous for the kids playing outside.

A great place to shop for anything you need. In te main mall there are many great shops that you will not see elsewhere in the west. Food Crew is a great place for coffee anf muffin, particularly if you buy $37 car for 10 large coffees. Just down the road are all the larger shops including Stationery Warehouse, Harvey Norman, Kitchen Things etc and then you are close to Palmers Garden World and an amazing Mitre 10

The latest discount retail chains that keep popping up here make it a must visit for locals. Has an awesome warehouse but with the chemist warehouse, crackerjack great stop for bargam hunters. Not in the same "discount vein" but the torpedo7 here is one of the best in Auckland

It is a good place for shopping especially if you want to visit nice restaurants, furniture stores, clothing, pharmacy, electronics and department stores etc. Lots of supermarkets in the area such as Countdown, Pak n Save etc. One of the biggest shopping centres it spans across the entire area on either side of Fred Taylor Dr. You also have stores such as Farmers, Briscoes, Rebel Sports, The Warehouse to name a few where you can get sporting equipment, clothing, bedding, kitchenware, cooking utensils, electronics, furniture, toys etc. Very handy for people living at Whenuapai, West Harbour, Kumeu, Huapai, Hobsonville, Greenhite and Northwest areas.
