A wonderful book shop, clean disabled toilet and a nice wee cafe. Good compact little mall with a good variety of shops.

As a Mall it's really good, although my favorite place is the friendly Kiwibank, with really helpful friendly staff, well stocked bookshop with lovely staff. Only problem is that in the mall people just don't watch where they are walking, strangest thing.

Have not been to the shopping center but it has an NZ post office that does pretty much all the jobs a post office should do. A one stop shop.

This is fine shopping centre but sorry to say that if you take your car plz be fully insured. A lot of older people in cars don't look be hind them when backing. Crash.

Only a very small mall but has the essentials such as Countdown supermarket, pharmacy, two hairdressing salons, bookshop, gift shop, cafe, bakery, supplement store, NZ post and bar amongst a couple more. Convenient for locals who don't want to travel all the way to a bigger crowded mall to pick up some essentials.

The Countdown at this mall is the best, the staff are lovely, particularly the bakery manager who has been super helpful arranging our ciabata order. Product is consistently good every time

Definitely too small to visit and look for new things. People at the pharmacy and flower shop are not friendly. The bookshop is good and service at the post office is fast: They lift the mark. Countdown branch is not sufficient to complete a main shopping list. Good for ice-cream and biscuits, though.

Good small local shopping centre with a countdown, cafe, sushi shop, restaurant and bar. Think the bakery unfortunately isn't currently in operation. There is also a bookshop with post office, florist and pharmacy. Travel agent and women's fashion /dress shop also. Friendly service. Ample parking.

I love the stores in here! I think the let down however is the countdown. It's small, not a lot of staff when it gets busy and limited stock of items that usually have multiple options. I find them to be rather expensive too. I'd love to see a big countdown go up in the area! My favorite cafe is here, check out my review for it!

A very small mall with a few specialty shop a great book shop and Countdown supermarket. Monteiths Bar is a great addition to the mall. Plenty of parking and a bus stop right out front.

I love that it has a post shop inside the book shop. So convenient but it's missing a decent coffee shop! One that can be open to the hours of Countdown and not close at 6pm like the rest of the shops.

Staff at the Countdown are great, friendly and helpful. Post Office and Bookstore are good. Montieths is good for a quick lunch. Subway is always clean and service is quick. Pharmacy staff are excellent. A great little suburban mall with a good collection of businesses well worth a lunchtime browse

The bookshop, Piccadilly, has a great range of books. Alas the bakery has closed. The supermarket is always busy. Has a good range of shops. Couple of cafes, two hairdressers, a chemist, Subway etc. toilet is tucked away down a long corridor.

Excellent haircut! Went to Avonhead Shopping Mall yesterday and on spur of the moment decided to have my haircut, at Mr. Snips. And what a great haircut, best of my life! The hairdresser, Toni, was brilliant. She really did listen to the cut/style I wanted, and with a minimum of fuss created the haircut I've been waiting all my 52 years for! Thanks Toni-magnificent!

Countdown is awesome. It offers free fruit for every child which is great and helpful to at least minimise cravings for sweet. Pharmacy is a okay. Postie is very handy. Staff are nice and friendly BUT the shops around are very expensive. And no $2 shop. I wish there's one.

A small, cozy shopping centre with original and stylish shops. There is a Countdown supermarket, book shop, two gift shops, post shop, hairdresser, cafe, travel agent and a Subway. Supermarket closes at 9 pm so very convenient fue a quick dash to the shops to top up.

Attended Laura King Nail Technician..lovely artist and made a beautiful job of my nails.Located in the Bella Donna Salon..lovely studio...highly recommend.
