T.EDIT TO ORIGINAL: Thank you for your response and I apologise for leaving such a harsh review in the heat of the moment as my experience with the security team doesn't reflect my experience of the entire mall. Security could do with some extra customer service training but the prices and shop employees were all lovely. Would highly recommend visiting the new Tommy hilfiger and Calvin Klein stores. The team at Tommy Hilfiger was absolutely fantastic and they had some amazing deals for such a top end brand. The ladies at Peter Alexander were also fantastic and are every time I visit. I will hold out hope that training will improve for the dressmart security team and that my next visit will be as pleasant as it has been in past experiences.

E.Great mall with lots of choices of shops. Parking most of the time good, getting out of the parking area can be a little tricky
P.This is an ideal complex for shoppers wanting to do price comparisons and find value in doing so. Nicely.set up and very customer friendly.
C.Slightly less shops compared to the Auckland one, but I prefer this better for the reason that it has less people shopping. Shops are laid out better too. Has everything you could possibly want at a bargain.
M.Got some good deals at Just Jeans, 2 pairs of jeans and jean shorts for $70! They always have amazing deals 😉😛
J.Good for a one off shop as the selection isn't huge in comparison to it's north island counterpart in Auckland but it's certainly worth it nowadays during covid.
c.Always shop here when in chch. Great quality goods at heavily discounted prices. Always worth a look when you up this way
H.Great place to shop at bargin prices. They have lots of outlet shops like Hallensteins, Glassons, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger,Puma, Adidas, Bendon, NB, Swanndri, Cotton on , Cotton on kids, Peter Alexander, Max, Converse, Barkers,Tarro Cash, Platypus, Bonds, Huffer, Just Jeans, Timberland, Rip Curl, Outdoor shop that sells all the gear for outdoor clothing, boots, etc and many more. A Nail salon is on-site also.
2 levels of parking, plus parking around the complex. There is a Lift available for those who need it this can also be accessed from the car park adjacent. Also there is a few food stands , icecream place,Cafe,
Public Toilets.
S.Ok. Good range, great stock levels. Only negative was being overcharged and having to go back for a credit.
T.Visit it during boxing day and Queen's birthday. The footwares are sold cheaper in this place as well as branded clothes and bags.
If you are searching for a sturdy shoes for work, outdoor activities or just for every day activities, visit this place.
Shoes brands such as; Converse, Sketchers, Puma, Merrell, Timberland, etc. Always have great offers and stocks.
Branded clothes are also sold here.
If you are worried of parking space, the mall has a wide 2 floors parking lot that is free of charge. Elevators are accessible and the bus stop is just walking distance from the mall.

z.Parent's forced me to get clothes that were to big the hoodie they got me was nice though.

a.Excellent outlet stores. Some shops would benefit from a refit (ok Iike recently opened Adidas store). A few empty shops at the moment, hopefully new shops will open soon.
A.A good cross section of shops, some cheap, some expensive. Best to go when you have a bit of spare time so you can browse :)

M.I find it a good option for clothes shopping and not as busy as the other malls.
I was very disappointed with the service at the Rodd&Gun shop. The shop wasn't very busy at the time I was there, the younger attendant was there on her own, the other person arrived soon after. The attendant's mind and smile was somewhere else. She looked for the item or size requested but was abrupt and not open to any kind of small chat or questions.
This was apparent when I requested a different size because the tops were from different fitting materials. She replied condescendingly stating "same sizing fitted all the same".
I've never had such a shocking experience in other shops for the same brand.
I also visited PeterAlexander, Bonds, Glassons, Picadilly, Overland, Huffer, Max, Barkers where I got good buys and the service was as good as always.

b.Went for product A and ended up with an equivalent product B at half the price. Happy days. Well laid out and good parking

Also job well done to the smoothie place for my yummy Mango Tango Smoothie, it was absolutely delicious & to the the chicken & rice place thank you for your great food. We will most definitely be back next time ... 👌👌🥰🥰
K.Large mall and shopping center in Hornby. Wide range of stores and factory outlets. Good cafes and a big food court as well as Hornby Workingmens Club. Worth spending time there exploring for bargains, groceries, clothing, in fact almost anything you want. Good parking both sides and I think, on top. If you like shopping, or just people watching , this is a great place to be.

Memorable day as my granddaughter lost her first baby tooth while we were there.
We will go again to July as we come from another City.

R.An outlet shopping mall with tons of clothing, shoe and bag stores. Has all the major brands and more. Lots of good discounts. Pretty crowded as it is popular. Decent parking and just across from Hornby mall.
P.I give bress- smart 4 stars this place is awesome for me anyhow walk in there feeling like down trodden bye some new clothing and you walk feeling like royalty and people you don't pay a warm and leg. Good choice of brands. People smile there..
C.Went to Skechers to get some shoes. Staff are friendly and very helpful. They are younger ladies in their 20's I would say and nothing is too much. They seem to love their work and interaction with the customers is outstanding. Great to see and even better to buy from there.
J.It's an outlet mall. It has many cheap but nice things. I got a lovely jacket. I had previously avoided because hornby malls so bad, but dress smart is nice. It's amazing what difference just across the road can make
l.Cheap prices and decent amount of shops
H.Awesome finally got new shoes from The New Balance shop. Very happy with what I chose. I really like that the staff ask if you the shoe boxes or just a bag, I always say yes just the bag please, as it means less rubbish in my almost full yellow bin😄

A.Love Love Love our local Dress-Smart outlet mall in Christchurch! They have loads of great deals on products from many different stores. Black Friday weekend tho is always extra great! So many brilliant specials, get's abit crowded on these types of weekends but we pretty much expect that everywhere these days.
J.Good selection of menswear stores.
J.Parking is rather unpredictable so I've taken to finding a suitable park at Hornby Hub and walking across the road. No big deal really. Not a great deal of people about but hours are tricky if you work a Saturday as well. Only have a few hours on the Sunday then. Found all I needed and more. Millars has gone though dam it.
E.It's got discount stores like Amazon, Adidas, Converse, Rip Curl, Bonds, Fila, Under Armor, Cotton on, Huffer, Glassons, New Balance, Benson, Peter Alexander etc. Some shops have good deals, some are really average. I wish there was a Vans outlet there! There's an ice cream place, Indian and sushi so you can have some lunch there. Tidy mall with toilets etc. Good place to try find some bargains.
C.Easy access from the Hub. Loads of parking on their roof. Multiple businesses in one convenient location, great outlet stores so bargains are great.
A.A lot of good shops to choose from and always having goods discounts on most of them. I really enjoy shopping here!
C.I love going here..if you love a bargain and don't mind shopping out of season then this is the place for you. Ample parking as well.

L.Lots of shops in the one place and they're all outlet stores! I have got some wicked deals and bargains on my many trips to dress smart! Loads of variety of stores and there's something for everyone! I only wish the royal doulton shop was still there! Parking is really good also with a large parking building. Definitely recommend!
a.Great place to shop and child friendly
L.Dress Mart Hornby is my favorite place to buy shoes. Most times I can find a great deal as there are so many different shoe shops to cater for different peoples styles and needs. They are great quality shoes at great prices. It is also a fantastic place to go if you are looking for sports or outdoor clothing. I have found at times that Glassons has had the same item in the malls as what is in Dress Mart but it has been cheaper at Dress Mart. If you are looking for something a bit unique or special then you might just find it at Dress Mart at a really great price.
V.Average. Needs better food places and did not find many so- called bargains. The Keens shoe shop and Merell is probably the only shop worth going to.
