Awesome little mall, great food mall and all the basics, child friendly. Robert Harris do the best coffee. The lady at spark was friendly and very informative. The florist lady always treats me well as I give my wife a rose each month of our anniversary date 🥰 and there is pac n save to fill the pantry A+ the hb Hornby

Really like this mall. Easy to navigate . Had coffee and muffin at muffin break. Visited farmers, tried out some beds and couches. Restrooms were nice and clean.

This mall is top line. It contains about 8 banking institutions and 20 different eateries, plus a huge range of shops typically found in malls. It has large parking facilities on the upper floor as well as on the ground floor. There are both escalators and a lift between the levels, so access is good for wheelchairs from the upper parking level. The mall is both spacious and modern, and the atmosphere is quite restful.

I’m not normally a mall person, but I love this mall. They’ve do so well to present a bright fresh and clean mall, it’s a lovely place to have lunch, and do some shopping without the crowds like other city malls. The mall has a great management team that strives to make it a pleasant experience for all shoppers. Thank you.

Definitely my favourite mall in Christchurch. Nice atmosphere. Good shops. Was fascinated to have gone into cosmic corner and be asked to leave due to having my 8month old with me (there new rules) no minors in the shop under 18. But the lady who told me off was pregnant. I had no issue leaving but was very confused by this rule.

A good sized mall with typical variety of shops. Also many other useful stores located nearby across the roads. Parking is ok, though be careful which one you park at. The Parking enforcement is notoriously quick to write out tickets for going over the allocated time. Overall a decent mall spacious and clean.

The Hub Hornby, Hornby Shopping mall, 418 Main South Road, Hornby, Christchurch. Not the largest in Christchurch, but a very busy Mall, it is laid out well with a good variety not shops, and a great new food court. Rather hard to find a car park (But it is only a few days before Christmas). Walked in and had a quick look at most of the shops, was disappointed buy some of the staff in the shops, (But as one owner told us it’s hard to get good temporary staff and many just don’t have what it takes to deal with the public, manners and politeness are hard to find). I see why the people in the local community like it with its handy Super Markets and the Major banks being there

Appreciate the efforts made to space people out in bathrooms (cleanly) and hand sanitizer stations. Parking time limits a little low out front but otherwise a good mall to visit as there is a good variety of food places and shops to choose from.

The Hub Hornby is a very easy mall to move around in and shop. The clever use of 'cross streets' as it were splits up most of any potential congestion that most other malls seem to suffer from . Very good variety of shops ,a great food hall and generally good parking areas makes for me at least a very good local shopping experience when ever I visit our son in Hornby.

Decent sized mall with time zone, Briscoes, bed bath and beyond, ToysRUs etc in the mall complex near the outdoor car park. Teasme is available in the mall for bubble tea. Decent food court. Not alot of stores though, seems pretty dead. One of the main bus transit site so can be busy outside from time to time, but that's about it, the mall itself doesn't get too busy at all.

A great place to shop. The mall is quite large with a wide range of stores either inside or nearby. Very Christmassy at the moment plenty of food outlets and cafes, in fact, if it isn't there, or nearby, you have a big job to find what you're looking for.

I was recovering from recent bunion surgery and my mother inlaw & I decided to visit Hornby Mall as we hadn't been there for over a couple of years & we usually shop locally on the Eastside of Christchurch. We grabbed a park which we thought was 180 mn limit & first stop was some lunch. We had some delicious sushi, sat in the food court & it was very pleasant, not too noisy for these older ladies. We browsed the stores & enjoyed conversing with some lovely friendly customer service people & purchased some lovely items. After just over 2 hrs we decided to head home as my foot was becoming uncomfortable & swollen. After such a pleasant visit to the mall, I was totally shocked to be greeted by a parking ticket! Never in my lifetime of driving have I had a parking ticket, & after looking for some kind of notice all we could find was 180mn limit signs ! I don't think we will be returning in the future if this is the kind of nonsense that happens, & after being off work recovering for 8 weeks from foot surgery the $50 fine was not what I needed. Please look into the parking enforcement between the mall & The Warehouse where we were parked. I'm sure we won't be the only disgruntled customers.

The Hub is not my favourite shopping mall but there are some great shops in the mall. The Farmers store is my favourite Farmers in Christchurch. All my most visited stores are in or around The Hub........ Bristoes,Warehouse,Muffin Break,Whitcaulls,Pak and save and others.

Food court is pretty good, which some really delicious food options amd not the standard McDonald's and kfc that you usually see at other food courts, even though they are just outside the shop. A shame to see some of the long lasting stores within the hub being permanently shut down due to covid. Hopefully they get replaced with half decent shops?

BEWARE of Parking Wardens!! I was in a 60 minute park for 45 mins and was given a ticket. I wrote in stating that this was untrue and unfair and even had a letter from my vet where i was in the so called time frame and they denied my claim. Makes me not want to shop there anymore
