The first time I’ve ever walked my dogs into the palms mall. Was what I’d call an amazing experience. My dogs were well behaved and the Santa photographer and staff were outstanding

I love everything there at the palms and enjoyed my shopping there and the foods are the best to eat and also love watching there movies

Fantastic food and value, the summer platter was amazing, comfy outdoor seating, great service. Definitely be making this a regular.

Love it. Not too busy carpark. Beautiful selection of shops and food outlets to suit your fancy. Frequent this mall often. Particular favourites of mine are Robert Harris, Countdown, Farmers and Muffin Break.

Great food court and selection of shops, also has a $2 shop which children love to go too and parents .... The Palms is definitely child friendly. I always enjoy a good ole shopping day at the Palms

The palms is my local and it's ok. It's a shame there aren't any electrical stores there any more. Cinema is great and we'll priced. Some solid restaurants outside the mall as well.

I seldom go anywhere apart from the Countdown. I often check out the shops leading to the Countdown. ie that mall end. I'm not sure about the food court end these days. Since the K Mart (?) left I haven't been down there. Also, Noel Leeming going, has been sad. I used to enjoy both these shops.

The Palms mall is quite boring now without kmart ☹ however since it has countdown and bed bath and beyond and postie plus its still bearable.... the kids love having a nearby cinema and reading cinemas is cheap and I guess since I changed from Kiwibank to Westpac, my bank is still local... my teens miss having Kiwibank located at the palms though... (Ive yet to sway them to chaning to westpac with me 😉) and the everything is $2 shop is pretty cool! So all and all its a 4/5 for me! You would have gotten a 5 had kmart still been there but I guess we cant have it all 😅

Parking is dark n don't feel safe as strangers walking around. I park always close by entrance or open spot, not shady spot.

Wow! This was my 3rd time that I enjoyed a movie there. Absolutely amazing experience! Very convenient way to buy tickets and it was cheaper, great location and parking. The movie experience was awesome. They definitely have a good range for everyone regarding movies. It will be more appreciated if they can do the same regarding their foods. A nice place to hangout with your friends and family. A great range of restaurants downstairs with a lot of varieties. A must place to visit.

It was pretty quiet in there this time,, but had a very nice meal at the hungry wok

Good. The foot fall is dying with Covid red traffic light. Businesses are hurt. Good but limited food choices in the food court. Good selection of shops in the mall.

Most of this mall is taken up by the cinema. It does have a few good stores though and a reasonable ambience. Variety of eateries. Good undercover parking.

I took my elderly father to Westpac, staff were great. We had to wait outside because of COVID but they let him sit in the foyer until it was our turn to go in. Once inside, the staff were friendly and helpful

Palms went there for the first time in a while,it was nice a lot of good sales nice food clean toilets,people are nice,and that's is always good for myself,good shops and a $2 shop very busy.

Just like most malls. Very clean and tidy. Only negitive i had was a staff member at countdown supermarket, jordon he is the rudist, unpleasant person i have come across for a long time

Lots of shops, convenient and a joy to explore. Lively athmosphere with nice coffee shops and great range of food to choose from at the food court. I love going to the Cinema here because its much cheaper than Hoyts. Great view of the Port Hills at the upper level Carpark. Would have given it a 5 star but staff told me off not to take pictures. It's a public place, generally if you have permission to enter then you are allowed to take photos? Hello!

Love this mall. Awesome shops and great people. I do my retail therapy shopping here each month. Lol

With kmart gone and no proper place to shop for clothes, essentials, shoes all in one. It's not really much of a place to shop at times. The food court is on point though.

A very clean tidy mall good to see new brands coming in the mall Conner mens wear is there now ,very busy with customers today when I was there.

Popular mall, supermarket in the process of an upgrade, will be good when it finishes. Variety of stores in the malls, some similar to each other. The Farmers worth a visit and their sales good. Cafes and food court are handy after shopping. School holiday activities available to keep children happy

Has everything you need handy location.Parking is a bit tight in places.

The VR game is VERY addictive, and very expensive. $1 per minute. Per person. For me and the 2 children, an hour of game play is $180.

Went to Countdown and Farmers. Successful both places and pleasant helpful staff. Nice ambience.

Haven’t been here in ages. It’s a calm place, not as frenetic as other malls. Met a friend at Robert Harris. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice mall with a good range of stores. Countdown for groceries and Farmers for household and clothing. A good number of other stores, Spark, Life Pharmacy, Whitcoulls, shoe stores and many other clothing stores.

Nice mall with good shops. Just a shame that there's a number of big names (Kmart, Vodafone, Subway) who have left the mall, making the trip to this mall not as desirable as it used to be. Still good place to shop though!

Nice place, It's a pity they got rid of Kmart because it was the only decent department store there and Farmers there isn't exactly cheap. The Food court is lovely and open with plenty of food to choose from, however the rest of the place is pretty lackluster.

Love the stores here. Wide variety and not overtly pricey. You can shop there on a budget or you could spend allot of money on high end goods. Up to you! Typo and Cosmic are a must to visit.

Great mall, especially Italy with the Oasis Family Entertainment centre there now.

The Palms isn't huge for a mall. It has a grocery and the usual collection of lower-end stores. There are also the usual clothing outlets and a Kathmandu I like. Of course there's lots of mall-food. I just miss good electronics stores and more higher-end food choices.

This is the best mall in our area. It has everything anyone could need.

Parking can be tough during school holidays but usually very easy. One of the entrances is being renovated. Quite a few shops have moved out which is a bit sad, and I really miss K Mart here

Tidy and handy in terms of location but average range of shops.

I always enjoy my time here as I have everything in hand, a close by city library, a high quality cinema, a supermarket, dollar-stores, clothing stores, and others. This could also be an alternative medium crowd mall. It also has an easy access if you live from the northern districts (Kaiapoi, Pegasus, Waikuku).

This place is awesome for stress free shopping. Lots of parking, lots of food options, farmers, clothing, shoes, beauticians and massage etc. Parking is good.

Les useful stores here, countdown always has good stock on their shelves.

Very good but didn't like the time it closed

Morning tea at muffin break with 2 friends, we were warm, nice food and coffee. Broused some shops. And found it a pleasant calm atmosphere, no bumping into people, no one was rushing around. Enjoyed.

Love the Palms mall,. Has everything you need when you need it. Does get super crowded over the holidays but still manageable to get around. I shop here over Westfeild mall any day. This is just my opinion though.

Not bad mall just not my type of place to hang,but love it wen the Kmart was there?

Has what we need close by can get really busy thought, the Chemist Warehpuse is a great edition. And I love the wee Postie, has lots of affordable school options and can use Afterpay or Layby to spread out the costs, eg school white shirts $7, polo shirts $7, school shorts for boys and girls $7, girls socks white and black $5 .... hats $5 .... grab a bargain 😊 love the $2 shop by the old Kiwibank, everything IS $2 .... easy to count as you go lol

A clean well staffed mall. Not too busy and easy to find what I was looking for.

Some shops are great, some parts of the Farmers leave a lot to be desired IE cosmetics

Great wee shopping centre and awesome movie threatre. Was impressed with countdown there was looking for a sandwich. Asked at the deli and found they used paper bags. Very impressed would go back there again when over that way.

Our local mall. The best parts for me are the fabulous cinema which we are blessed to have, the lovely Farmers department store and our Countdown. I still miss our old KMart 😥

Not too many good shop's left, couple of them moved to northlink, Mainly miss the K-Mart but still many coffee shops and a supermarket is there and nice toilets and kids changing room. Food court has quite a few options 😀. Inside Playground is also good.

Staff were very helpful in finding the shop and product we were looking for in and out in a flash We always ask at the info desk saves heaps of time

Went to Bed Bath and beyond, great variety to choose from. Will go back for Xmas shopping. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Bought a nice benchtop rubbish container 👍😊

Staff at muffin break friendly and food and drinks really hot.

We had a lovely pre movie snack at Copacelli. They have a really nice menu and have created a lovely ambiance with the flames out front. Friendly staff. We'll be back for sure. Love the comfy lazy boy seats in the movie theater too.

I go to this mall all the time. Nothing bad to say about it really.

The Palms is fantastic, it is one of my faves and it is a smaller mall compared to others in town.It is great because it is usually not too hard to get your shopping sorted, there is a good variety of stores.Revive hairdressers are amazing.You can go to the movies, get a meal or do groceries too.Awesome health store too.

One thing that is absolutely true about The Palms is that it absolutely makes you as if you were on holiday at a location that absolutely has palm trees.

Tried 2 meals from the Japanese culture. Food was fantastic.

It was up to the standard that I expect except for the hungry wok the food wasn't very nice at all to dry except for the chicken chow mein only nice thing to eat

It's a unique experience. The food is always fresh, people not so much. Great pop up shops. Very clean amenities. Great outdoor seating with bars. Parking is a pain, but folks....there is a free upstairs carpark that seems to be forgotten. Open late, cant complain.

Only went to the palms for lunch.. Mediterranean food place Ardana is just the Bomb!! You just can go wrong with whatever you order. The bread combined with the meats n your choice of salad is just to die for, Ardana Bowl is what thats called.. The tastes Truly felt like i was transported overseas.. Fast friendly happy bunch of staff as well to top off the experience.. Mmmm could go a bowl right now too.. 5 Well deserved Gold stars Ardana 😁👌

Cinema has great pricing. Fairly wide range of shops. Food court is ok. Good bars outside. Parking can be difficult when it's busy.

Starting to become a pretty average mall now, kmart has moved on, still good to have the farmers and countdown, a good movie theater, good selection of food in the food court. But the post office has moved to council building. Feel like it is missing some more shops, lots of junky type shops

I mean it's become alot quieter since I moved to NZ but it still definitely houses some of my favorite stores in there!

Everything here is great! There is plenty of parking, lots of shops and heaps of eatery places and cafes. There is a play area for the kids. The elderly or injured also have the option of different tranport services to get around the mall, you just go to the kiosk and hire it. The site is also wheelchair friendly and has plenty of washrooms if you need to use it.

Kmart gone. Good selection of other stores. Happily wasn't too busy on the very cold day I went in. Temperature inside was good. Used restrooms and they were moderately clean. Good parking. Lots of food stores. A pleasant mall. Thanks

It's the palms. The riff raff seem to not be as present as they use to be. Disappointed that DEKA hasn't reopened. Especially with kmart moving out this would have been the ideal time.

As far as malls go this is one of the best. It's never that horribly overcrowded busy that you get in other malls. It's a good place to go for a strike mission to Kmart or famers. The kids playground is one of the best in a mall and I love how it's close to a cafe. Always good for parking.

Brilliant mall almost everything you need in one spot. Food, shopping, supermarket and a free sheltered carparks with direct entry/ exit to movie theater on Level 1.👍👍👍👍👍...... 5 stars 5 thumbs up

The Palms Mall is my favorite mall in Christchurch it's easy to get around and has everything you could need or want as well as Readings. Love the place I go every week.😍

Decent Mac D's. Very busy during the day and no refills. No excuses for no refills these days.

I love the East, like the people, love the whitcoulls and specs savers. A good mall not too crowded, making for a not too stressful shopping experience.

The palms. I find the people that serve you are very polite. Wish you had a warehouse there pr kept K Mart. I hear that kiwi Bank is closing there. I hope that is not true

I mainly went to the palms to visit kmart, there are a number of shops gone but it's still a great mall and food outlets and the reading cinema that's a bonus close to bus routes and underground parking as with street parking.

With the best movie theater in the city and the best value snacks, the attraction to this mall for me is huge. It is easy to navigate, and has many great stores. There is even a Kmart which is the greatest destination when shopping for anything. Also a massive food court. Yeah

It's pretty alright. As a tourist, I'd say it's a nice place to get things you may need -- there's Spark, Vodafone and 2° shops if you need a SIM card, there's Kmart and Countdown which are both open til late if you need groceries and/or bits and pieces, there's a pharmacy if you need to pick up, for example, insect repellent or sunscreen (I guess?), and there's also a decent selection of food choices.

Called in to No 1 Shoes. Sat in vehicle while passenger did the errand. Driving around appears to be decent l, though obtaining a vacant park enlists the skills, spatial awareness and aggressiveness of competitors of The Hunger Games.

Good mall if you actually had more outside lighting and put your big main the palms lights on so people actually know your open

Another very good shopping experience in christchurch. I spent wayyy too much on black Friday specials, ate very good Indian food and had the electronic key for my car fixed. AAA+ from me

It has a good selection of shops. Countdown, Kmart, Farmers, many clothing shops. The food court has a decent range to choose from, including the more well known Subway and McDonald's.

Good compact relaxed shopping mall, with a range of services and shops. A good food court providing for a range of tastes, some more classy restaurants if you fancy that and great coffee. There is a movie complex upstairs and heaps of parking. Close to Christchurch, but not in the city itself. It is also close enough for folks from Kaiapoi and Rangiora.

The Palms is a great place to visit. Plenty of shops to look around in. Myself and 6 other ladies go there every 4 weeks for lunch. It's so good.

A very relaxed sort of mall compared to some of the others in Christchurch. Good variety of stores & easy parking. Readings Cinemas there are a fantastic & affordable theatre with great service.

Not too busy at the time I went. Nice shops. Clean toiletz for customers. Very warm and dry. Clean and tidy eating areas. Pleasant all round.

Okay selection of stores, Kmart open late is always a bonus, very handy for the "I need something random that only Kmart would have" late night moments. Food court closing so early is a bummer and toilets are often lacking, 10/10 would hold it in. Nice to have a Cosmic Corner, Eb Games, a cheap-o-mart and Reading cinema close by.

Great mall my favourite around town not to busy great range of shops has a reading cinemas which is great has a countdown and a kmart and farmers along with a great selection of clothing and shoe shops as well as jewerly pharmacy and a amazing food court with every type of food. An all round great place always very clean and tidy

It is nice and convenient for shopping. Like Kmart, Kathmandu, Cotton On, Countdown, and much more including a Foodcourt for when you get hungry also if you like to drink there are a couple of drinking bars and if u like to watch movies with friends or family there is a movie theatre there so very good to take family shopping there

I haven't had too many troubles at The Palms. Great entertainment section, a gym, a good variety of different food at the food court with more close by. It's not a massive mall by any means but it does serve the community well!

Nice Mall, not as overwhelmingly crowded as Westfield Mall. Don't go as often since I moved away from the area, but the shops seem to stick around and the restaurants on the top end are are popular for after hour drinks.

Smaller than Riccarton and Northlands mall but still has a good range of shops, cafes and a bar. Reading cinema is a great bonus. Parking availability is usually good. Toilets and baby change rooms are available.

Lots of great shops. I go to Fans Massage and get a massage regularly. Very good to ease tension or pain in your body. Very good professional people. Then I go get an ice cream, groceries...... Everything in one spot.

Typical shopping centre with 3 brilliant restaurants that I highly recommend for both family and private dining. They differentiate this shopping centre to others.

Ok mall. Sad to see KMART go but still a good selection of old and new stores. Food court is good

Nice and clean quick service with a smile

It's a good place esp for the kids as it has Kmart with cheap EVERYTHING. Theres also a large food court with muffin break, Pita pit, Maccaz and even Turkish food-Theres a flight center with awesome staff and even a countdown with a good range of food.

Great lot of shops for all . This time I visited 2 degrees kiosk. It went ok.

Great for clothes shopping

Nice mall, easy to get lost...well for me anyway, the food court is in a great spot and an reasonably good selection. Parking is good a free for 120mins to 240 mins depending on where you go. Shops are similar to Westfield. Reading's movies have good range of things to watch.

I have been going here for years sadly it has gone downhill a bit since Kmart left they need more bigger shops

It's a mall. There's loads of shops selling lots of stuff, if you like that sort of thing it's possibly great. There's a good large cinema with low movie prices, good eateries, pubs - bars outside and a food court inside. Coffee, cake and muffins. Indian to McDonald's.

Sadly The Palms is a tad lost. It's a nice place to shop, but it lacks shopping excitement. With Kmart gone, and Noel Leeming. However, I will continue to shop there as it's more relaxed

One of my favourite go to malls has everything eaters are awesome. Kmart most clothing and almost every store you need including cakes so yup its the best go to mall on the east side!

It's just another mall in suburban Christchurch. Has a good food court plenty of restaurants and a couple of large department stores along with the usual shoe, clothing and electrical shops banks and movie theater.

Great shopping centre has hairdresser, mobile phone retailers, supermarket, jewellers, electronics, whitcoulls, gaming store, clothing store and food court. This is one of the larger retail spaces with a good range of retail outlets. Toilets are well maintained and stylish.

Muffin Break serves great food and drinks, there's a large range of shops (postie there now too), bank, post services, pharmacy, clothing, department stores, bookshop, supermarket... Always seems to be enough parking (covered parking available).

It's smaller then the other major malls, but still has all the key shops for fashion/housewares/appliances. It's very quite due to the depopulation of that area of town post earthquake, which means great service for those who do go. It is clean and modern, and constantly checked after every "event" in the city. To be honest, I feel safer being in there than any other mall, because they constantly close to carry out full repairs.

Very nice mall with great Food hall, McDonald's serving hot chocolate for $1, (with marshmallows). Chinese counter superlative. Multiple cinema complex. Kmart, pretty cool!

I have been visiting this mall for the past few years now and have always noticed the great service. Good place to hang out with friends or come in for a bite. The mall seemed a bit too small and could use some expansions, but except for size, awesome place!!!

A pretty general shopping mall with general stores but a good place to go if you are looking to kill some time. Hoyts cinema is on the top floor which is a great place to go on a rainy day but can get busy then.

It's the usual mall, we went to the movies, excellent theatre and the guy who we bought tickets from was pleasant

Great mall and has most things you may need. Can I just ask mall walkers to stay away? You know who you are; walk very slowly, randomly change direction, have an inability to look in front of you and seem to stop randomly.

I love going to the palms, it's got a good range of food stalls and shops, postie plus is one of my favourite places to buy from cause the ladies that work in there are always so pleasant and lovely to talk to. Kmart is great value for money especially their clothes.

Very complete mall, though not huge. Groceries, fashion, F&B, financial services, etc. you can find almost anything you need here. Plenty of parking spots available as well. Well maintained overall. Highly recommended

For the most part great atmosphere. Really good food, you can take your kids. Unfortunately the 2degrees store gives really bad customer service. If you are not going to benefit their commission they don't care about you.

Great mall all the usual stores. Well set out food court plus it's clean and tidy. Clean toilets, wheelchair accessible and a ton of covered parking as well as outside parking.

Not a big mall but it's very nice. You can find most of common stores there, the cinema is good and clean. The food court is comfy and tidy.

We didn't shop much but the mall seemed to have everything a person needs as far as shops and food go. We went to the Reading Theatre that's apart of the Palms Mall and were impressed with the comfortable seats and screen quality.

Great mall if you are just popping in for a few things, 🚗 parking is a little hectic! Food court is pleasant and has a nice variety of food options a little something for everyone.

The palms mall at the time we were there was not to busy so it was pleasant shopping. The food court had lots of selection of food to chow down. It was clean and tidy with the experienced cleaners on hand.

Great atmosphere mostly but could improve staff are a disinterested lot not very helpful. Wouldnt go out of my way to visit in a hurry also only a select shopping experience. Needs more variety.

Very enjoyable early in the morning my only concern is when I have been to countdown Lotto the service is not very good it's like there is no smile and it seems the staff don't want to serve the customers this is not a one of occasion

Pleasant, clean and decent-sized little mall, neither too busy nor too quiet. Good range of stores from value to pricey, nice cinema and open outdoor eating/socialising area.

My favourite mall in Christchurch. Not too big, well presented. Has most every kind of shop. Great parking. Relaxed atmosphere.

Medium to large mall, not as popular as westfield riccarton. Ample parking, access and special parking space for wheel chair and pram. There's a cinema in this mall. Indoor playland is also available for kids aged 2 to 5. Food court is relatively clean and tidy.

Mostly fine mall. The same shops as any other mall. Strange collection of people. Has a food court, it also has the usual selection of foods. The cinema was cheap, now everyone charges $11 for a movie.

Almost as good as riccarton mall and a lot more laid back. Not as many shops but also not as busy which is nice. Food court is nice and spacious compared to riccarton which is super cramped. Plus it has really cheap movies

Unfortunately the Kiwibank has Closed Down & Wandering What they're doing with the KIWIS BANK. Even Riccarton Road branch has Moved. ( Are they Changing that branch into a Franchise)

Not quite the versatility it used to have but still a good mall with plenty of parking, clean toilets, multiple banks, and variety of food options

Palms was good ! But a shame some of the other shops have since gone..K mart ! And dowsons shoes...however still a great shop.

I feel like the palms needs and update. I generally don't enjoy shopping here but they do have an ok selection of stores and you can usually find a park pretty quick if you go upstairs. Just your average mall

Always go there for a pedicure and manicure. Brilliant at both. No appointment necessary. Good selection of shops.

Great place there is heaps of great shops, all the staff i have come accorss are very helpfull. Kmart is great for those late night missions and the food court is massive. Its great having the countdown supermarket there to do the weekly shop after a good wonder through kmart. Also housing Amazon and CheapSkates for the younger generation

The Palms Mall is a great place any time of the week heaps of parking and has a nice friendly atmosphere, it's got all the shops you need, and a great food court along with cinemas with all the latest movies, great access for everyone, along with good parking for those with wheelchairs, big thumbs up from us,👍

Located in North East Christchurch suburbs, The Palms is a primary shopping precinct. Most if the major Banks are located here with ATM'S lllocated around the shopping centre. Dozens of specialty and boutique stores covering a wide and diverse range if services and goods. Countdown Supermarket, Farmers, Moral Keeping, 2Degrees, Kmart, Readings Cinemas, Gym, restaurant/cafes, Library, etc.... Way too many to list. Large multi storey car parking, car valet, well placed walkways in the car park, visitor store directory at entrances enabling you to find what your looking for quickly. Overall this is a fairly busy Place. it is clean, has on site security, is well lit at night, and has bus connection points at various locations around the mall perimeter. The Palms is open 7days. Individual businesses trading hours vary, however Countdown is open till 10pm and Kmart till 12am. Cinemas viewing times vary so check their web site first. Z feel station, KFC, Doctors, Dentists, etc can be found opposite the mall on Marshlands Road.

Biggest mall in my area good for banking ...its horse shoe shape means you don't have to walk miles around it like Northlands or Riccrton clean good variety of shops

Nice sized mall good mix between options and not too big.

Absolute chaos when fire alarm went off, no one knew when it was safe to go back in. One minute we were all allowed in the next we had to go back out again only to turn straight back around and go straight back in. Terrible organisation from the staff.

Went to the pharmacy today and had mg flu vaccine. Filled out a form. Had the jab and had a very comfortable seat for 20 minutes. Then left. Total time. Less then 25 minutes. Also had an appointment at specsavers. Staff vsry kind and thoughtful.

Took my glasses into spec savers with a lens having fallen out they were so obliging and when I asked how much the lovely young lady told me there would be no charge how refreshing for doing something for nothing thank you once again kind regards Terry McDonald

Good mall but currently in renovation so some parts are not open, kmart also got removed for this renovation

I think this space is dying a bit of a slow death unfortunately. Some good shops still there but some moved out which has had an adverse impact

I love the Palms, as it's the most handy of all the malls in Chc in terms of location for me. Very sad that Kmart is closing there, though, and I expect this exit to hit the mall hard.

Nice shopping center with the best $2 shop I've ever been in, but pretty limited with the election of stores. Closing Kmart was a big loss

Has most shops you need, with varying customer service. The food court has a good range- try Tank, Pita Pit and the sushi places (it has two, one near Countdown). Coffee Culture is a cosy corner to meet friends, you can also phone ahead. Movie theatres are spacious and you can't go past the value at KMart. Lots of clothing shops and gift places. Always pretty busy in the carpark down the south end, so head up stairs and use the escalators provided at both ends.

Decent selection of stores. As far as eateries go, there are healthy options but are at extortionate prices! And the rest is overpriced fast food. Needs to be on level with the retailers in the centre. Can get a pair of jeans for the same price as a meal...

Everything for everyone, whatever you're looking for, or just for window shopping, you won't regret it...it's big, so allow yourself some time, you won't regret it.

When the local mall ain't got what you need.

Sad since kmart has gone the mall is very quiet with more and more businesses leaving when countdown goes the palms will die.

Best mall on the Eastside. Some shops have not been able to maintain their lease post Covid and have unfortunately had to close their doors.

Parking is always convenient, good selection of shops, a cinema so you can drop the kids off at a movie and get a little retail therapy for yourself. Kmart at the Palms is easy shopping (nicer than the huge Kmart at Westfield Riccarton)

Massage, haircut and shopping in 2 hours, couldn't get any better❤

My daughters first movie. She loved it and very well set up for smaller ears. Not to loud but i was told my tv is to small now for pepper pig.

A very quick and easy place to park up and get some shopping done if you're looking for a dairy or a bank or just to go and buy some clothes this place has it all and a good selection of food in the food court

Good mall. Has a Kmart and countdown which are the shops we go to most in this mall. The food court has a good selection of foods. There are also quite a few different banks such as westpac, anz and kiwibank which also has a post shop. Farmers, noel Leeming etc also there. And don't forget to get a cronut at divine bakery, they are yum!

Reasonably clean but toilet by ASB BANK opens when you don't want it too. Be aware two recently caught litterly with their pants down ad door opens automatically after only 5 minutes. Not enough signage to tell people one way only when parking . Almost got hit by car coming behind me. Other than dodging paedophiles the place is friendly, staff are courteous and shopping is good. Security is good so a plus Mark for the Palms.

First time visit and enjoyed the nice shopping vibe.

Good parking but it feels a bit rundown compared to some of the other malls in town.

The mall was buzzing with people. I went in search of a toilet, but was led to one whose renovation in progress. Soon found another one, and yes, they were clean and well ventilated.

Good range of shops, good parking, good value movie theatre.

Love this mall is my local, has a great community feel and is not too big, so good for mature people to get around and great variety of shops. Could do with Lincraft store as no where to get good craft and materials.

The palms shopping mall the best mall we have here on the east of Christchurch got readings cinemas, kmart, cheapskates, food court plus so many retail shops here electrical shops, clothing shops gifts, even a cosmic corner... go get some

Typical selection of shops. Great parking and eateries. The mall consists of 110 retailers, including the first Reading Cinemas multiplex in Christchurch.

This has become my local shopping centre now. Countdown is the only supermarket there. Could use another supermarket to give more variety and for those who can't afford Countdowns overpriced groceries

Good place to watch a movie take the kids they have a good parking system easy place to find food good stores for clothing and shoes they have a lil kids play ground to with a seating erea to enjoy your coffee or to just watch your young ones play they have bars to grab a cold 1 too all n all a good spot to spend some time out and spend your money...

I like visiting The Palms; it is a smaller shopping centre, but it comes with everything one might want, even movie theatres! The only drawback is the parking situation, which can become a bit tight. Otherwise, you can find anything your heart desires!

Pleasant atmosphere, multiple shops to choose from and your don't have to walk half a mile to get where you wanna go 😁

Not too big and crazy apart from the carpark that is a bit small and crazy! Once inside though all the regular mall shops are here and it's a good food court too.

As with most Malls / Shopping Centres everything in one place. The outdoor food and bar units are a nice added bonus.

Went here shortly after arriving to get some new glasses, the mall looked quite nice and was very clean but I didn't really have enough money to explore the shops!

I generally avoid Malls, but , needs must. Mid afternoon parking was available if you looked hard enough. Must have your wits about while driving. Same everywhere really. The mall has many clothing outlets, cafes, banks etc. My fav is the Body Shop .

I love the palms shopping mall I go there 3 times a week lots of different shops and heaps of parking lots off security and cleaning staff and they are always willing to help I give it a AAA rating

It's a great model that has a lot of shops that you can check out as very clean and modern looking definitely be coming back soon. Customer service is amazing.

A mall like any other. They do have free WiFi which around Christchurch is an extreme rarity. The grocery store here is not very good as far selection or the freshness of their produce. The WiFi is spotty, but the McDonald's WiFi works well.

Love The Palms. Everytime I visit Shirley which is about several times a year as I reside in Auckland I'm always at The Palms. Got everything I need. Having family live a hop skip n jump away from The Palms also helps. I'm sure I've spent money in nearly every shop there by now.

Supermarket, Farmers, Glassons, Kmart, Whitcoulls, Vodafone, bakery, and lots more.... sushi, food court a great shopping centre, all undercover, clean restrooms, information desk, it's all here.....and the Shirley library is right next door.

I come to the Palms especially for Hiroba, it's so delicious.

Decent mall. Clean food areas and toilets. Good shopping, albeit at the lower end of pricing. But if that’s what you’re after this is a great place to get it.

There are various entries with automatic doors to get in through and the corridors are wide and there is plenty of room for wheelchair users to get around

Always plenty of parking, and a lot less crowded than the other big malls in Christchurch. Check the mall directory before visiting though as there aren't as many big name stores at The Palms.

Always good for a shopping spree and the good courts not too bad.

Most Mall stores here apart from The Warehouse, as there is a K Martin here. Nice food court plus 3 or more bars and restaurants, and a Movie complex.

When not busy a great mall that is easy to get around with some great shops. The staff at farmer are very helpful and the chicken burgers at kabab masters are really good.

Well it is busy at times but that's expected the food is good and a lot of options for shopping Definitely Recommend Kmart and Jay Jays for clothes

Went & had a nice coffee from Bean & Co which is a very good place to go if u want friendly service & the food is pretty good as well

The Palms is ok. There are a few shops that stand out Like Typo, Farmers but I mainly go there to get a haircut for my son's at Janine Jansen and they go to Wassem and he is an awesome barber who I recommend to any bloke in need of a decent haircut. Unfortunately he only cuts guys I have tryed to convince him to do mine but barber only....... boohoo as he's easy on the eye to..

Good Mall, but the Countdown Supermarket is Foreign owned (Woolworth's Australia) .. I choose to shop New Zealand owned.

Good variety of shops, clean tidy. Plenty of parking most of the time, covered and uncovered. Early morning good time to visit before it gets to busy.

At the Palms, I have bought, not mention only some ‘mercy’ from the retail kiosks but not many purchases occur at the palms if only at life pharmacy and that’s not often.! Good and close.

Its a big mall with cheap movie theatre good food court good shops and doesn't get super crowded often. Got good parking and a library there as well.

The palms is convieniently close to where we live, it may not have everything but it has most of it! Parking can be a nightmare sometimes but always good to have a mall near by.

Was the first time I have ever had a pedicure at professnails. If your a bloke and wear steel cap boots all day, you are mad if you don't go and get the girls to give you one.

The Palms is a very good shopping malls in Shirley .Its self contained and has pretty much all NZ Popular retailers

With a large variety of shops to choose from the Palms Shopping Centre has a lot going for it. There are a large number of food stalls available, including the stock standard McDonalds and others. Shops include many fashion outlets, a supermarket (Countdown), Department Stores (Farmers and Kmart) and others

I love going to the mall as it has everything I need and has a nice atmosphere and all the staff are very helpful and polite.

Bit hard to navigate as the entrances are far and can’t really rely on getting a park near one. Otherwise a great local mall.

In this day and age, even though it is one of Christchurches main malls, a little on the smaller side. Kmart and reading cinemas are it's main redeeming points and also its coffee culture.
