It is good place for leisure and shopping ,and also a lot of local snacks

Visited Subway Meridian today, 6/1/22. Was really impressed by the staff on shift, they were very accommodating to my specific needs and so helpful with suggestions. Absolutely made my day!

Located in central Dunedin, clean and tidy, not a huge mall but has got most Australian shops in NZ for clothing, shoes etc, also has an international food court in B1 (not too international, just your standard mall Foodcourt I would say).

It is average for a mall some nice store food court etc handy having a car park 1hour free but who goes to a mall for just an hour 2 would be great even 90 minutes

It was good and big mall in Dunedin. Almost every brand was there. Very large food court and big gaming zone for the children as well.

Lots to see and and an awesome Christmas vibe.

Really the shopping hub of Dunedin. Good food court with jb hifi , Smith's city and a range of clothing, book, jewellery and other shops then out onto George st for the rest of the shopping experience.

JB Hi-fi and the food court down stairs is mainly why I go. Very spacious but take the stairs cos the lift is always full. Especially in this time with the c19.

A reasonable range of shops wasn't happy with my tank juice it was warm and I had a bad experience at pandora in there and not sure why Kmart is no longer there and that's a shame

Great mall but the toilets are seriously lacking, the only public toilets I've seen in the mall are so so cramped it seems like a fire and safety issue at the very least

I actually went there to get my Covid vaccination. Everyone was so kind and even let me lie down afterwards. The mall itself is good too.

Love this place! Everything is so close to each other and shopping is a very good experience. Would love if the food court featured more cuisines but definitely love the atmosphere

Ok mall. Lots of different foods at the food court and some nice shops. Layout confusing though. Easy to access and find.

It’s worth dropping in if you are passing by the neighbourhood. I found some bargains at Kmart. Food court downstairs had almost every cuisine to choose from for those who like variety.

The mall takes the credit but the review is for the COVID vaccination centre set up in the mall. I have had two jabs and everyone from the security dude to the reception lady, vaccinators, wait station ladies post vaccination and anyone else who works here. Respect to you for running an exceptional service. Smiles, helpful attitude and so caring overall. Thanks everyone.

The mall is a convenient place to shop with many close shops in an ideal setting.

Like most malls, you go in for the experience of the shopping kind or the food or both! It has quite an ambience to it. Friendly, clean, cosy. Personal. See what you think next as you make your way around the mall.

Every store I visited had the covid tracer, sanitiser and were wearing masks. All friendly helpful staff

This mall truly has it all. The array of pot plants and glass roof mean that the interior of this mall would function perfectly as a closed system ecosystem if it were required. The only downside was that it was a little too sunny. Otherwise I highly recommend this mall for potential closed loop environment enthusiasts.

Nice and close, walking distance, for a break from hospital visits. Clean premises, plenty of seating and good variety of food and drinks. Well priced. Book shop has a large array of magazines and books to purchase.

Places like this are a little overwhelming but I don't mind this one. Mainly cos I've been here a couple times but it's still a bit over stimulating

Great medical centre , made an appointment thru the app on m y phone called " Manage my Health " . Reported in and was taken with little delay . Afterwards paid for the appointment and the receptionist restamped my parking ticket to make sure I got a hours free parking . All good

Easy to negotiate with fine retail stores of varied wares, services etc all under the one roof . A conveniently sized complex with comprehensive car parking space

Great mall with many options of places to shop

Fair variety of outlets and food vendors. Nothing super exciting and building shakes a fair bit.

Small establishment. Warm and easy to navigate. Shops closes early.

It's a good mall with everything a mall should have. Maybe not quite as good as some malls further up the country but for a city of 110,000-odd people, it's not too bad. Wheelchair accessible levels and stores. The parking is a pain though as people constantly block the edits when they can't figure out how to pay to exit.

First hour free parking, followed by $3 an hour. Really nice malls connected with a 2nd one. High quality clothing, jewellery, massages, EB Games, JB Hifi, food court and a great book shop.

It's good there food cort there parking is good one hour free. And there two hear cut places and good shoping. Good for just a pop in to town plce. As fist hour parking free. So right in town can just do what ya need to do and free parking if ya work it out right. Lol

Good range of places to shop or catch a bite to eat. The space handles not only the locals but also all the visitors from out of town and from the cruise ships. There's something for everyone!

Not anything like those awful suburban malls that blight other larger NZ cities, offers a great range of shops that are well complemented by the surrounding main street shopping experience. Even the food court area works here, unusual in the same/same world of malls.

Great shopping. Food court a family favourite and loving the arcade type feel dotted about with games and rides. No empty shops adding to the five.

Relative strangers to the "modern" Dunedin so find the "mall experience" interesting. It was a quick visit but was suitably impressed with the spaciousness and choices/range of goods. Some would have one believe that "malls" are old hat. Maybe, but to this shopper they are convenient, warm, clean and generally GREAT.

Very convenient place & good shopping

This is a awesome mall. It has absolutely everything you want in here. You'll find yourself here for a few hours if you're having a shop or even just a look around. 90min free parking. There's a selection of places to eat from in the 2 food courts and two cafes through at wall Street mall. Great selection of shops especially with having a Kmart on the top floor and H&J Smith on the ground and bottom levels where Arthur Barnett's use to be.

Good parking building. Good selection of shops. Basic food court and a few good cafes. Product offerings match the Dunedin market so not many top end brands but good basic. Very high rentals mean retailers seem to need to charge high prices so those who can afford to travel buy elsewhere

A good mall. Lots to see. Food court is great and has a variety of food to choose from. The bathrooms feature the wall tiles that show the chemical table of elements and if you can find them so sweet little goldfish in a tank

One hour free carpark is not enough for doing the shopping. Most of malls have 90 to 120 minutes

Absolutely great! This mall is a very fun place to be, and I would especially like to commend the awesome cleaning ladies, they do an incredible job keeping everything clean as a whistle. Their dedication is admirable and any staff with less effort would not be able to upkeep the clean, welcoming atmosphere. I have seen them being disrespected by school kids who purposefully create messes and they stay polite and clean it up. It's a shame that they aren't appreciated. You guys are inspiring! Way to go ladies!

The food court is pretty cool in the basement. Some of the shops are a bit expensive. Having the toilets in the basement must have added to the building cost because everything has to be pumped up to ground level 😁

Fairly interesting mall, with the expected array of clothing, jewelry & accessory stores, and solid food court. Covid QR codes accessible, and hand sanitizer available in multiple locations

Huge Mall, every popular shop is inside here. With the join with the others malls beside it, it is quite huge. Large food court with multiple cuisines. Anchor shops well placed and doesn't feel claustrophobic. Well designed that there are shops and a Kmart at the very top. Bright and modern. Criticism is that the food courts tables weren't always cleaned afterwards. Also it was very busy the day we were visiting. Parking was tight and steep levels made some cars scrap on the ground.

Went to Peter Alexander for PJ pants. Extremely helpful lady who had to go out the back to get correct size and said to come back with my wife if they were in any way not right

Houses plenty of really good shops ranging from beauty clinics to flower shops to food stores. Would reccomend going to, just remember not to spend all of your money in one trip.

Went for Covid vaccination and shopping through the complex. Excellent and friendly service in every place we went to.

Surprise mall of Dunedin. Bigger than expected.

Nice place to walk around. Good for a Saturday afternoon stroll. Pleasant and bright place. Good food court with the exception of the Indian Food counter. The young lady basically threw and slopped the food on the plates of both myself and my partner and then honestly threw the bottles of Coca Cola on our trays. Food was luke warm and naan bread cold. I was disgusted with them and would not go to that food counter again. I’m not hard to please or expecting 5 star at a food court but that place was really bad.

It's a small mall. First hour car park is free and $3 per hour after that.

I gave 5 star because its only the mall in Dunedin as on date. It is connected with other malls (Golden Center Mall and Wall Street Mall). It could be way better in many ways but still this the best Mall Dunedin has got.

Same old mall that I remember when I was a kid. The food court was the same old with great food. Tables get cleared fast. Huge range of shops so it's very busy. Elevators were not working the day we went so got some exercise. I didn't realise the car park pay machine was at the bottom of the Carpark and we walk right to the top then back down then to the top again only to find that you can park your car at the bottom of you forget to pay

Nice mall connected with Wall street mall. Offers 1 hr free parking on its top. A nice international food court at its lower ground floor and variety of shops on other floors.

Like all malls in NZ has everything you need under one roof, clean and enjoyable

Nice small mall with all the shops you need. Food court is OK, has some nice varied options. Theres a couple of beauty places for nails, hair, massages. Clothes, electronics, flowers, jewellery, ect ect all available.

Got what I wanted, staff very helpful in H&j Smith's. Will miss that shop big time as I do like personal service.

A mall in the heart of Dunedin making it easy to get to plenty of other shops. Big car park normally with plenty of free spaces. Good selection of shops with a food court with a wide range of options from sushi to Burger King.

Very efficient handling of people coming for covid vaccines during level 3 restrictions.

My only problem with visiting this mall was not enough time!!! So many shops, so little time. We were visiting on a cruise ship, so our timeline was short, but I was really impressed with this lovely mall. Lots of variety in the stores making it a fabulous place to wander around and shop. The Meridian Mall offers a mixtured blend of mid range to high end fashion boutiques, jewellery, shoes and accessory stores. On the list to come back to when we return back to Dunedin for a more lengthier holiday.

Started to get a bit dated, time for a major upgrade. If need to use the toilet I suggest walk the extra distance and use either the Golden Center or Wall Street

The mall was a wonderful place to visit. I saw and bought wonderful things at cheap prices. The costumer relations was absolutely splendid. Hope to go back soon yo buy other good stuffs

The upgrade to the Meridian that has been done is gorgeous. That whole Mall complex is gorgeous, well worth a visit. Fabulous layout and style, complete with very stylish shops. Go Dunedin.

Mall is a mall is a mall. Meridian is one of those. Small but bustling. Food court. Massage places. The usual mall shops and then Kmart on the top with really late and great opening hours

What a great destination. Everything you would want to buy under 1 roof. Excellent food court on the below ground floor. A very busy place.

A nicely distributed collection of stores. Has its own multi-level parking. Connects with the Golden Centre and Wall Street. In the heart of Dunedin and therefore close to plenty of other shops. A perfect place to park even if you don't intend to shop in the Meridian Mall.

A good place for lunch, different varieties of food available. KMart is opened till 12am, which is handy if we need some household goods or clothing after all shops are closed

An adequate mall for a city the size of Dunedin and now that it incorporates the other two malls next door makes for a good shopping experience. I am always a bit disappointed in the food court with the variety but is adequate.

One of the best parts of Meridian mall is the aircon in the summer and the heating in the winter - a haven from Dunedin weather with a good variety of shopping options. From food choices and coffee, adorable pyjamas, shoes and cute stationary to department store shopping. Meridian has a little something for everyone!

Good mall overall, just suffers from awkward parking infrastructure.

Typical shopping mall with four main entrances and nearby parking. Easy access for pedestrians and drivers. Recommend Tank smoothies and sushi. Not at the same time.

Awesome variety of stores. Foodhall was ok but not enough seats. Parking is great but the joining of it's car park to Golden Centre park (to get to exit) is dangerous and horrible.

The mall for most of your shopping needs. George Street is that kind of place where just go. It's got parking, easy public transportation to and from the city. There's lots of other shops beside meridian mall and some fantastic places to get both inside and outside of the mall.

Really good place, its a huge lot of places within the mall and food court is amazing lot of option sushi, fried noodle, kababs , curries, burgers and subways sandwiches, juices and coffee, almost all food great, Meridian Mall is one the the most visited place in Dunedin

Great mall with many great little shops, some great boutique stores. Great wee food court, with some different choices. Plenty of parking in the multi story carpark, at good rates.

This is a small mall and has a food court in the basement for quick and cheap meals or to take away. It has Kmart in the 3rd floor. The first hour of parking is free and then $3 in the subsequently. The malls is attached to Wall Street Mall. You can park your vehicle at the Meridian and walk to the other shops in the vicinity to save money.

This is the only mall in Dunedin. Nice ambience, you could find almost all types of shops inside (except groceries & veggies 😁). Perfect place to hangout if you feel bored and cannot drive out.

A huge amounts of amazing foods from all around the world in their food court downstairs, Kmart is p sick and there's lots of great shops to browse or to buy from

The Meridian is quite tired looking now despite efforts to redo the Food Court and the corridor where the toilets are situated. The Ladies Toilet is in need of a drastic make overhaul. The shoe tiles on the walls are tacky, very tacky. The money would have been better spent putting a liquid soap unit on the wall in the Disabled Toilet along with an electric hand dryer. The soap units in the main toilet area are either not full or have come off the wall and have disappeared. The tops of the taps have corroded badly over the years. An extra dryer would be a good idea too. The food in the food court is good as are the retail outlets.

Love shopping here I like the top level cause Kmart is like my home. The staff are real nice and look out back for me a couple of times for produces that where sold out on the shelf .

Great amount of shops..plenty of parking and easy to get around..this mall joins up with two others so caters for all tastes in food and fashion.

Came for lunch. Pretty decent Indian and nice selection of food for lunch. Although it was busy for lunch my table was cleared almost instantly. Nice selection of food for different diets.

Good selection of shops and items. We had a great breakfast at Marbecks. Enjoyed our morning.

I loved international food court as it has got plenty of choices with great foods.

Meridian is a good shopping destination with a wide variety of stores that cater to most peoples needs. The food court is a standard mall food court, however eateries like Marbecks give people the opportunity to try some more boutique foods.

Really confusing layout its like a maze not enough ways to get to upper levels as so much foot traffic using lifts so if u hav a pram be prepaired to get trapped in elevators as people will not let u out they will just pile in

Quite small but has foodcourt in basement part ,coffee shop, dept store and parking area on top

Pretty much your standard mall. Tidy, mostly clean bathrooms. Reasonable range of shops and food choices on the bottom floor.

Customer service was exceptional in H & J's. Nothing was a bother. Definitely worth a return visit

Nice place for a relaxing picnic.No dogs allowed made it difficult if your best mate is with you.

Lots of shops and food malls lots of people and since it was school holidays their was a scavenger hunt for the children very good

This place is awesome and cheaper. We always come here to shop clothes. To dine in and to have coffee, they have it All.

Lots of cool shops. Checkout the paperplus bookshop, it's well stocked. Mall food was pretty good as well.
