C.Lido was great - on line purchase of ticket allowed us straight in, no wait. Movie theatre very plush. Access to eateries on Bryce St great and choice of eateries also good. The Mediterranean was superb, fast and almost full but still accommodated us. Only downside was access back into centre place to get to parking - had to enter via vehicle street entrance. Not ideal!
K.Nice place in two storeys, first shops, and second movies and some massage and wedding stuff. Nice design and decorative, a big food court, a bit hard for us to find the parking. Good collection
R.Great place to go with lots to do! There’s shops, movies, laser tag, escape rooms, virtual reality, mini golf, all in the centre of Hamilton. And if you go to the movies then it’s only $2 to park in the car park building.
K.Neat little mall. Indoor outdoor shopping experience with other things to see around the courtyard area. You have to pay for parking and most likely will end up in the parking garage-which is always a pain.
A.Centre Place is a really nice mall, it was the first time I saw it today and I thought it was a great place. It had so many beautiful shops, cinema and food court. It seemed so big inside and had all the popular shops like Glassons, whitcoulls, Kathmandu, farmers, hallensteins and there was a nice outside yard like area for musicians to play or to sit and eat lunch. If I had more time in Hamilton I would have spent more time here to have a look around.
P.Believe it or not the Chemist Warehouse did not have all the products we needed. Lol I forgot my mask in the car and had to pay 50c for the mask they provided me. No courtesy masks at all.
E.I love Centre Place, parking deals if shopping good & such a great variety of shops & the guy at the customer service desk is way too happy lol which is good so exceptional customer service. Highly recommend.

N.Yeah so we went to centre place and there's a place called Nando's so we went there and he's a few pictures of the food the food was ok some of it was quite nice because it was different but if you're a hot food display supposed to go to but not so much for me good atmosphere so good layout

e.2 Degrees shop is fantastic. Service from the staff is great they are patient, thorough. Genuinely care for their clients, even with tricky requests like the one I had.

The security staff were nicely helped a elderly gentleman to his car.

m.Parking is very pricey. Not sure why it costs so much but nice place to shop. Lots of diffrent shops in side the mall.
D.Tidy, good selection of food. Cleaning staff were busy, efficient and polite which is a lot more then i can say for the locals who were eating there. Shops were perfect. Good work Hamilton a mall you can be proud of.

K.I had the best experience with the management here as my son is MFC I had only just found out on the 23rd of December certain malls offer special book ins with Santa.
I called management on Christmas eve and asked if it was possible and they booked him in and were happy to do so.
So happy with the customer service here and they were so lovely about it too.

J.One of the local malls in Hamilton. Upgraded several years ago. As with most shopping malls in New Zealand, not very impressive.
Free parking for 2 hours on weekdays with validation. There are a couple movie theatres and an arcade.
M.Centerpiece wasn't so busy so it was lively shopping with not a lot of people enjoyed it.
W.always clean, shops have friendly staff.
L.A good selection of shops, parking free during the weekend and during the week you can validate the first 2 hours if you spend some money in the shops or 3 hours if you go to the movies.

v.Feels good when you are in their, not as fancy as like some Auckland's shopping malls but there's pretty much everything you need in a shopping mall.

J.This is a great mall in the center of Hamilton. Nice shops inside the mall. You could easily spend the whole day here with the movies, arcade and escape rooms.
S.Lots of shops including chemist warehouse, parking is a little difficult as right in town.
L.Decent mall, parking is free for the first couple hours if you prove purchase and I believe Saturday although I'm not sure how long that will go for! Had some good shopping options, for court needs better options. I'd recommend the chocolate lounge opposite OPSM on the outer of the mall for a coffee, lunch or yummy treat
D.Great selection of stores if you clothes shopping for the latest trends, I found a nice little Anime store which had some really cheap prices on board games and picked my self up ticket to ride !! Also has a mean as food court

V.Went to The Lido - was a lovely and relaxing experience. We had Coffee in proper cups with a 'home made' biscuit to take into Cinema - We were the only 2 people in there and were able to savour the experience. The oversized Plush seating with a tray table - I think there were Chandeliers in the cinema but my friend said she didn't think so. The whole experience was 'Olde World' so enjoyable

M.It is a nice place, centrally located and many different shops. The couple of stores that I visited, the staff were friendly, helpful and knew their work. I was able to tick off quite a few items from my to do list.

M.It's a nice place to go shopping, eat or watch a movie...plenty of parking, too. It's also free for 2 hrs with minimum purchase on weekdays and free on weekends.
K.This is a great shopping mall to visit. They have to carpark buildings with direct access to the mall and a the shops you could imagine. Clothing, shoes, jewelry, gaming. Heaps of stuff. There is also a big food court here, loved the Indian and sushi places and usual get something from either spot every time we go. The cinema upstairs is great also and has some really cheap day time deals running if you want to see a movie at off peak times.
T.A small in Hamilton city, good place for shopping, food & window shopping. It had everything you may need within walking distance. Some free street parking available around the mall.
H.Lots of awesome shops i highly recommend the Ice age mini golf. The food court has a great variety of options aswell. 5 stars rating because its central to town.

P.A pleasant stop for a walk around the shops and easy access to the main street. The restaurants and bars on the outside are a great bonus.
Carpark not one of my favourites, spaces seem very small and not alot of manoeuvring space either.

M.A great centre that has many different varieties of stores but lacking a service for the elderly and disabled by not having scooters available. Should look into this as many shopping centers and malls in the gold coast provide this service and it makes the whole shopping experience more enjoyable for them and their families.

P.Looking a bit tired but great Lido cinema. One of the few spots on Earth where you can combine mini-golf and a stegosaurus!
k.A decent mall and the main focus of the cbds efforts to take traffic back from the base and te awa. Often let down by paid parking. Cafes and a food court and various stores. The main central city cinema is Essentially here. An acceptable time if a mall is what you need. I'm sure there's someone more equipped to specifically list its contents.

W.This is a very nice and relaxing place to shop or browse. The rush of Te Rapa is way up the road and you can sit and enjoy a coffee without feeling pushed or rushed. But.........all the good shopping is at your fingertips when needed. It's a delight to be able to stop and shop without feeling like you are a cash cow coming in the door.

N.Great mall with lots of shops and never as crowded as others I've been to. The food hall is the perfect place to stop for lunch- or a quick meal before you hit the movies!
T.Very good place to visit. Central to transport station, downtown plaza and a very good selection of food in the food Court. If you are in Central Hamilton it is a place to sit eat. I have heard that you have to be vigilant with personal belongings as wallets purses have been taken from tables as people walk by. Other than that food is nice.

K.Great shopping center with a lot of options - clean, litter free, bathrooms relatively well kept, and there are always security staff walking around.
Everyone is friendly with the exception of the farmers staff who must have assumed because I was there almost every day that I worked there and growled me for validating a ticket. I no longer shop here for this reason, and also the reason for the 3 star review rather than 4.
However, Sierra's coffee is great!

A.Good experience, little PC fuse now and then but a floor plan at places would help.
T.Everything you could want or need in one place. Choices in dining is great! Food court also has a variety. Parking fees are reasonable when you get your shopping or movie receipt validated.

A.Recently I went into the Hamilton Fast Fix Solutions shop seeking a gadget that would help me access a sim card from a phone my Mum had been loaned. The staff member who assisted me advised he did not have any of these gadgets for sale but kindly provided me with a gadget he had on his own key ring! Really appreciated the exceptional customer service. Thank you very much.

R.One mall is pretty much like any other, though this mall does boast the unique feature of an indoor mini golf course. The middle of town, where this mall is, isn't as popular as it used to be but the company who owns the mall is spending a lot of money to improve it. Check back in a few years and it should be fantastic.
D.Nice shopping center with two cinemas, indoor fun for kids and family, and plenty of variety for shopping. I didn't see a single space that wasn't being utilized by a consumer company.
T.This place is fantastic if your keen to purchase clothing items, sporting goods, gifts and other services. Excellent selection and range. The food court offers a wide range of food and beverages including fast food like McDonald's, or Japanese Don Buri with sushi. The Turkish kebabs are good too.

D.Very narrow parking spaces. Lido cinema is comfortable and have great ice creams! Hours Metro in same complex is pretty good too but if the same movie is showing I prefer the Lido.

S.This mall has all the basic local brands. And is a one stop to running errands. Love the theobroma hot chocolate. The lido cinema is classy! The food court has a good variety of dishes too. There are two pharmacies too so it's great to price compare.

C.Free two hour parking and free weekend parking. Staff and security are nice folks and has an array of different shops and food stores all in one convenient area. You also have two different movie theatres to chose from, mini golf for the family on the upstairs level and Star Bucks across the road (not a part of Centre Place). If you plan to take a visit there anytime soon, you must order a meal at Hungry Wok, my personal favourite food stand.
M.Smaller than the base but it does the job. Excellent restaurant options so and plant of empty tables and never is ccrowded. The parking facility is so horrible super narrow makes you feel all the whole country has a mini copper 3-door or smart.
B.Pretty good. Parking is generally good but can be busy free at the weekends. Nice and tidy central with a decent food hall

D.A great little shopping mall with a nice food court, two cinemas, an indoor mini-putt, and many other small shops covering a wide variety of things.
There is also a currency exchange shop so travelers with foreign money can exchange it for NZD.
The mall is always clean, and has many seats throughout.

s.Stopped in at the 'Trouser Room' near the Victoria St entrance to the Mall. Great selection of quality menswear and accessories and very helpful staff. The whole Mall in general is well worth a visit if you're in the city. Shopping, dining and movies - a good day's entertainment!
V.Nice and easy, all you need Shopping in CBD with lots of good cafe options. Easy parking (2 hrs free on street) and free parking in multistory when you spend $10, just get ticket validated on way out.

k.A good shopping centre with all the national brands represented, It meanders a bit, so there s a sense of it being more than a mall. Nothing spectacular but clean, nice food court and just what you expect.

S.A place in the Hamilton city centre where you have lot to enjoy and do your shopping during your stay at hamilton. Basically this mall has all you want from the chocolate to watching a film and almost everything. Highly recommended.
A.Your typical type of mall, loved the mini golf, McDonald's was packed as it was school holidays but the main convenience for us "out of towners" was, once we realised most car parks in town had a fee, you got 2 hours free parking in the mall after spending $10, which is easy enough to do :)
V.Nice and clean good variety of shops cafes food hall. Cinemas. Has carpal attached. If you purchase in mall something over 5$ think it's free parking.

I.Hoyts Metro is our go-to venue for handy local movie time. Conveniently placed in Centre Place mall, a short hop up the escalator, stairs, or elevator.
V.Always a lovely establishment to visit. Clean amazing selection of food and the customer service team here is A grade with assisting people. Thank you.
D.Always enjoy shopping here. Central, convenient, nice, has all I need and I don't seem to get that tired, over stimulated feeling from other malls.
F.Unfortunately due to the parking problem centre place has a bit of a run down feel. It still has a good range of stores all easily within walking distance. The other problem is the smoking area is right next to the children play area.
O.Convenient shopping location for city centre. Parking is free on weekends or two hours with $10 purchase on weekdays, otherwise $4/hr.
A suggestion I have would be if they provided paper towels in the parent room. I know they are probably trying to save money or have less waste, but it would have been nice to use them rather than resorting to toilet paper to clean up messes.
H.It's a mall. Parking cost is reduced if you spend $5 or more and get your parking ticket validated. Chartwell and the base have free parking. Something to bare in mind.

B.The parking garage is so tight. I have a 7 seater and was scared I was going to get stuck.
g.Food court: McDonald's, Indian, Japanese, chicking, Chinese, Turkish. Don't forget to get a Tank juice $8.50c & $1 for a extra shot (highly recommend) . shopping centre for clothes, beauty services, jewellery, shoes. game arcades up stairs cinemas both ludo & hoyts. A great day out for you and your teens
E.Multiple shops to browse, restaurants, movie theatres, food court, public toilets, plenty car parking available.. If going to the movies ask them to sort out your parking ticket - 4hours free parking.. Busy atmosphere..
M.Good shop selection. Food court not the best. There should be signs making it clear that there are not access to lifts on every parking level. I struggled with my new baby as I parked on a non lift level.
A.Love the mall im a huge shopaholic, prefer the base just cause they have more to offer but its a mall has everything ya needs.

M.Really happy they upgraded a few years ago, definitely no longer the old fashioned centreplace it used to be. Service is kind, place is clean and well kept. Good selection of your general franchises - McDonalds, Glassons, farmers, etc. Love the open courtyard area that connects to the other side of the mall.

C.Awesome centrally located mall with a great food court. Lots of brilliant shops to give a broad shopping experience. They also allow free parking for 2 hours with a 10+ dollar purchase which is ultra convenient for this location.

H.Love the food court here n the shops
J.Centre Place provides for a very convenient shopping destination in the CBD and for us folk that live in the city. It is so much easier to go here then out to Te Rapa especially during school holidays. There is ample parking in the underground car park and a wide variety of stores including Farmers and Hoyts & Lido Cinemas. The mall is easily walkable but I have left one star off as it is often quite grubby and messy especially in and around the food court.
T.I like centre place better than Te Awa. Everything is set out nicer and it is less busy. I usually come here to get my eyebrows done, tank and for a look around. The only let down is the car park, both underground and bryce street are hard for my vehicle to get up, down and around.
K.One stop shop...awesome
H.Fresh coconuts and Poisson Crue are they things to gets. The poissson crue is not your typical fare. It is marinated with lime and coconut milk and it is delicious. There are also shops to buy souvenirs for your friends and family! A quick place to eat and buy things before you get on the ferry.
K.Parking underneath, if you buy goods and stay short time you can present receipts downstairs desk and have park ticket endorsed so no cost parking.

S.The Thai massage lady worked wonders on😆 a knot I had in my scapula adjoining tendon, asked if pressure was ok before continuing, nice basket to put my valuables in and no wait time! $20 for 20 mins and I felt brand new.

One complaint, is that there is no clear way to get into tower building, I couldn't find any entrance to it when I was there.

F.I just came in here for some grub. Found a joint that sold Greek street food, I said "gimme a lamb gyros". When it arrived the dude apologized and told me they'd made me a chicken one instead. I kept my cool, looked around and said "would you throw in one of those sovlaki for free to make up for the mixup?" The dude said he wouldn't have it any other way. Problem solved. I'm no sovlaki connoisseur, but a free sovlaki always tastes great.

6.Centre Place is a staple in Hamilton if you haven't been there before you could go just to say that you have it's been around forever and it's still running so it has to be doing something right quite a good selection of stores not just food but also other stuff also there is a lot of stores that surround the outside of centreplace there are still technically part of centre place so if you don't see what you want remember that there is doors around the outside as well that may have what you're after
S.Great selection of shops but no obvious guide for where the shops are. Shop assistants were very helpful and gracious in guiding me to shops at the other end of the complex.
P.Centre Place was the place to go 20 years ago. With the cost of parking in central Hamilton and the opening of 'The Base' (a large free parking collection of stores on the edge of town), the center of Hamilton has become a bit quite. Still good for shopping and not to crowded.

H.It's like a mini mall. Lots boutique type shops, food court, cinemas and even laser tag and mini put. Links up to garden place. I would say it's the heart of the CBD. Perfect place to take your girlfriends shopping and then head down Victoria street for something to eat or go to the food court. It has a little of everything. I give this place 3 stars because I don't really shop and only go there for the cinema

G.I always enjoy visiting Centre Place. It is not just the mall, it is what is aound the mall too. It is lovely to visit the CBD and the mall. We enjoy the central parking and the foodcourt at the mall. The foodcourt have quite a variety of food servings. It covers probably the widest range in Hamilton. It is nice to have a choice of more than the standard fastfood franchises. Even the restaurants on the north side is really well represented.
K.Well laid out, vibrant feeling, good support and inter-related shops. Varied activities. Pleasant environment. I like to browse through - often!

People who located in Hamilton, Hamilton east, nawton, frankton and claudelands can go here to do the window shopping. For parking they have good spaces. If you buy anything above 10$ then you can get parking free by validating your bill. Weekends parking are free. It has a food court and cinema.
