My favorite place to go for shopping. Free parking, my kids love the food from the food court and the little play area. Love the parents changing room always nice and clean. All my favorite stores are there as well. This has been my favorite shopping mall since 2017 ❤ 💙

Lots s parking space available. From Countdown supermarket to post office is available at Chartwell mall. Across the road is warehouse stationary. The mall has three levels. On the top level is the cinema and Foodcourt. Bottom level is countdown supermarket. You will find shops like western union, etc

The mall has lost its way. The food court is slowly dropping in quality with a couple of stalls shut now. The shops are all samey. The movie theatre is great though. Nice seats and good staff

Always good to visit, clean, good variety, plenty of parking but all the seats along the mall have been removed. While it is no doubt for hygiene during these covid times, it makes life difficult for the likes of me who find walking a challenge

I love this shopping centre, quiet and relaxing in the morning. I go mostly for my favourite branch of Robert Harris and H&M.. Plebty of parking, though parking is usually full during weekend and busy times. The kids playing area with the TV is awesome, can let the kids plat while enjoying your coffee at Rovert Harris cafe next door. Overall services are ok, I just wish they increase ths number of parkings for famikies with baby pram

Good place to shop and chill. Lots of different stores in one mall. Not too big and not too small. Just perfect

Good shopping centre and cinema. Donburi in the food court has deteriorated over the last 12 months but the others are still good. Always parking.

Umm you can usually get a park. Lots of shops (my favorite is Penny's Bookstore, it's got what the chainstores don't have in every way). You could spend the whole day here easily.

Nice mall. Its smaller but was easier to navigate and with parking. Didn't feel as crowded and has nice shops.

Online ordering for penny's bookstore. They are super quick and easy to deal with. Click and collect is an awesome option in L3, and you don't have to go inside the mall either.

Lovely clean mall. Always a pleasure shopping here, glad they have brought the chairs back, so I can rest when I need to.

Clean good covid plan. Friendly helpful staff. Good sales. Food hall reduced seating . adequate. Good experience. Savings in my pocket.

Cute little mall away from town..enjoyed it. My first visit here. Te Awa is bigger n much preferred place if coming to Hamilton for shopping

All shops are welcoming . Food mall has good catering. Staff in the shops are helpful especially 2 degrees

Stopped for a break on a road trip. Clean well lit a nice place to stop off for a coffee. Clean rest rooms.

Always changing. Beautiful central icon to the chartwell location. Spec savers great staff ,polite fast and efficient. Food court great range .McDonald's delivered hot and fresh meal for time frame we had. Would encourage longer time to actually do walk through the whole complex next time .toilets and parking great.

Love this mall! It's not huge but everything you need is right there!

It’s a nice place for shopping in Hamilton area. There is lots parking available don’t need to wait for parking like other Westfield shopping centre. There is nice food court in the mall. I like there food very much. Especially kebab shop. They are really good team now.

Took a friend to do some shopping at countdown she is always able get what she needs as for the centre Chartwell has always granted its customers a good range of choices thank you a very merry Xmas to all ps exellant parking 😊

Recently I went to Gloria Jean's. I didn't want anything to eat, but enjoyed a really good coffee, and the largest I've had anywhere, I mean anywhere. Great value.

I was only in there to access the OPSM but it is a clean shopping area. The food court has the social distancing required.

A cosy place to relax and catch up with friends for coffee and a touch of retail therapy. Go to Theobroma Chocolate lounge and say hi to Amanda...great service!

All round shopping centre, great atmosphere

Great..Parking was easy...toilets were clean.. Food court was clean...

Great little shopping centre. This underground parking fills up quickly, however there is also the open parking. This centre has a COUNTDOWN and also a TANK for us health fans. The SPARK store have such friendly staff! It does have a foreign exchange store here. The Richard Harris COFFEE shop is great as it is close to a designated Kids play area, filled with FUN soft play blocks and more.

This place has some really good shops in it but as a whole it has no vibe no feeling, that something that makes you want to come back, a feeling that Chartwell wants you here and wants to look after you. Sorry you need to refresh you management team with people with vision and excitement. Oh the food court is driving people away not welcoming you for a meal.

Loved this mall, lovely shops.if you ever go there make sure you visit Evergreen on the top floor, amazing things and good prices. Takes ages to look at everything. Had a haircut at the Cut place. Did an amazing job.

Have found this is a one stop shopping complex that caters for everything and anything required.parking is convenient user friendly with easy access to all shops covered from al weather elements. Have found shop assistants polite helpful and very professional.The Xmas spirit is amazing with an atmosphere embracing the spirit of Xmas in all 4 corners. We just love having our family Thursday night at the Chartwell Shopping Centre.Oh movies for us all thus weekend at the Events Cinema. See everything and anything you need. Well to all retailers!!!

Any Vodafone user can use the rewards for cheap movie tickets and enjoy discounted sweets at Event cinema.

All the shops you could need (minus maybe just a few!) And so much more convenient parking and less busy than the Base! Underrated!

I went to CareVets Chartwell with an emergency, then went to Countdown to buy more cat food. Clean store, friendly staff, plenty of what I needed in stock, despite panic buying.

It’s a convenient mall if you are after a few personal errands such as in need to do some grocery and or stop by to a bank or to an ATM. Fairly good location and spacious car park too. Though, could still be better in terms of the shops. Hopefully, a lot of other brands will come in to this mall too.

I always enjoy Chartwell. I can find almost everything I need there.

Great mall, but the air conditioning was WAY TOO COLD!! We had goosebumps! Clean, tidy, restrooms great. Basically a good place to shop.

With a variety of stores there is a little something for everyone. 2degrees/Spark provide free wifi for the shopping centre so if data is running low then this is the place to go.

Parking is easy. It's a "mall" but a cozy kind of community mall that doesn't overwhelm. It is also clean, bright and easy to move around. There is a decent selection of stores plus a Countdown. Very convenient.

Parking is not great, but mall is clean and a decent variety of shops.

Wasn't what i expected. Heaps of area for parents to re collect themselves with free childrens play areas, in the foodcourt also. Lovely clean parents changing, feeding restroom also has a place to microwave baby foods and bottles.

I love window shopping here and buying lunch they also have a picture theatres there too

Go here for coffee and afternoon tea usually after Latin Mass on Sunday's- always warm, not crowded, covered parking, banking, toilets - great place

Good shopping center with all you need

Has some good shops like Tonic health, Precious Metals and Overland plus a few of the regulars like Glassons, Farmers and Whitcoulls. Parking is excellent and plenty places to get good coffee. Has a Countdown attached too. For its size it's a great little mall

Its just your casual mall....good open space, quite busy but a good place to get a shopping spree on...they also have a $2 dollar shop 🤣

Love Chartwell all shops under cover in one area

Huge range of shops, especially in women's clothing and the Countdown supermarket. H&M have a large, well organized store there. Food Hall is substantial in size and in its range of sit down meals. The only shortcoming of Chartwell Shopping Centre is its limited parking space. Generally clean and tidy with a good sized Farmers Store on the upper level of shops.

Charwell safe peaceful gd shops could use hardware countdowns gd gd staff very helpful exp.if not well sick.. nicer than pack n save even if on a couple of items a bit more..easier location for me little library second hand store vegs take away Mckenzie very popular its good..3 dollar shop gd bookshop is fantastic great staff with post office.. s small hardware shop.be gd. Well frequented upstairs shopping gd food store theater. Great.

Great playground. Great food. Great toilets. They even have these little cars to hire for $5 an hour. They are so cool and handy. Even better they have 4 hours free parking. which is abnormal. Go shopping there now!

The Chartwel shopping centre parking is easily accessed from three sides of the complex. Easy access to a great range of retail facilities - including a great supermarket. Convenient placed public toilets (could do with more?). Escalators make it easy to visit upstairs and downstairs places. I enjoy sitting at muffin break and a few conveniently placed rest spots/seats. Clean mall. Many cheerful and helpful staff.

Was awesome definitely loved the kebabs from the food court best $14.00 spent so filling and not shy on the meat and not heavy on the salads like many other places that do little meat lots of salad so definitely will be back

I ALWAYS LOVE coming here!! The place and people are so bright and smily it's a really pretty and happy atmosphere to go too! Makes my day shopping here everytime😊

Lots of shops meh to good

Stopped in here while on holiday. Did a bit fo shopping and then a bit to eat in the food court. Not as many shops as we were expecting but definitely a huge selection of food vendors. Kids we're happy to be able to have whatever they wanted to eat. Free parking was also a bonus - & didn't take long to find a park even though it was the Christmas season

Huge place, this area denfienty grown in 20 years while I've been over seas. Staff are fantastic. Food is yummy, especially love sushi. It's a clean mall.

Isn't as good as it used to be, mind you new shopshave helped. Its handy, not as busy as the others which can be a reprieve from the hustle n bustle of te awa.

Easy to get access to. They provide rental items such as wheelchairs, prams, scooters and its FREE! Has almost every store you can think of plus a foodcourt and events cinemas available. They have mobility parking and a car valet as well! Don't forget a countdown!

Had an awsome couple of hours shoping for a phone and clothes for my child and other things even stopped for something to eat and every store I went to has excellent customer service and very helpfull and would highly recommend Chartwell Shopping Center to shop at and has plenty of choices if you want to stop to eat

What a great mall! The book store is a great place to have a browse with a kids play area directly across for those with small children. Large range of shops and food options as well as a movie theatre on upper level. One of the nicer malls in Hamilton.

I brought my niece here so that we could get our nails done. Cause we were on a bit of a time.limit so we didn't get to experience much of Chartwell mall.itself. heaps of parking and a good variety of shops. Easy to access from the road. I guess I'll have to come back next time to get the full experience of what Chartwell has to offer.

this place is amazing, if your hungry stop for some food at the food court ! if your bored go shopping or watch a movie at events cinemas ! if your in need of some clothes, go to one of many clothes stores until you find that perfect t-shirt or pair of jeans ! if your wanting to look snazzy, go to the hair or beauty salon ! need a gift even if its cheap ? because i know we have all been there, well basically every shop there is full of choices for a gift ! highly recommend this place, amazing !

This is a pretty quite mall with basic amenities - which is usually clean. There are a good variety of shops including a large farmers, countdown and food court. The food court is open later than the rest of the mall. The cinema is usually quiet and it's easy to get tickets.

Excellent for those who enjoy Malls - varied shopping under one huge covered way. Food, Clothing, Books you name it - all good and serviced by pleasant and interested assistants. A good shopping experience.

Fantastic mall to shop at if you don't like the Hustle and Bustle of The Base.

Seemed to have good selection of shops. Good amount of parking and clean and bright mall.

Great shopping mall with wide variety of eateries and shops. The cinema and supermarket really round out the offerings. One small downside is having recently visited with my Nana and her wheelchair we found there was a lack of senior / disabled parking and signage near accessible entrances was lacking. Inside the elevators can be confusing having to go up one floor then along to a different elevator to get back to our car.

Looking for toy world thought was in big plaza by word of mouth lady at plaza said was there no didn't Google but rang had to go inside to find it wasn't sign posted on outside unless we were both blind n missed it gud rang toys for little shop moko got what he wanted.

Good. Dylan at Just Cuts Hairdressers is fantastic. Outstanding service with cutting my daughters hair while I sat with crutches. People at voting booth very helpful.

Great centre. Easy hassle free parking. The lady at hush puppies had great knowledge on her shoes and fantastic customer service 👍👍

A great selection of stores and free parking! The food court is quite good, and the Event Cinemas are excellent. Would be a perfect place to shop if there was a Warehouse and/or a Kmart.

Great place to go to on a wet and cold day. See a great film, followed by great food .

Always come here for shopping, hang outs, dates and food one of the better shopping malls next to the base

Chartwell shopping center has just about everything you need, from food court to retail stores to cinema, then if you go outside there is more shops to find. Best thing for us was sitting in the big open space out by star bucks with our hot or cold drinks watching the busy people rushing by

We took the grandkids for a trip to the mall. We were surprised how many activities there was that day for the kids. Even without the special activities for the day there is plenty to keep the kids busy. We even managed to find a proper salad for the girl, parents instructions. I did not know that an escalator can be so entertaining for a little kid. If you use your imagination a bit, you can keep a kid busy here for quite a long time

Awesome experience, great customer service, so many different shops, good specials, wude variety of food in the foodcourt, clean restrooms, underground parking what more can I say, an awesome place to shop

Very happy shopping trip with 2 grand daughters and husband. Everyone made purchases. Had lunch at McDonalds experiencing quick service. Great shopping Mall and easy parking.

Not a bad shopping center. I love their food court, I take the kids for lunch or dinner there as often as I can. My hairdresser is also in that centre. It always super busy. I love people watching though. 🙂

Love Chartwell lots of choice of shops and plenty of choice to eat, good facilities, warm bright and always a great place to go. Gets very busy on Saturday though so if you don't like crowds probably best to come in the week does late nights too. I live an hour away and usually come here at least three times a month. Has entertainment for kids during the holidays too and great little trundles for them to use has an area for breast feeding that isn't in the ladies toilets and ideal for all ages and abilities. Has supermarket in it so really all round place. Love it.

Always love this place, its much more convenient than town. Everything in one place its great. You can smell the smoke from the outside (where the staff go); while waiting for the elevator. The door.was open wasn't a great look. Otherwize love the mall and all the stores

Has everything, but hardware. There are some appliances, mainly at The Farmers, Chartwell Mall, which is a two-level department store. Worthy of note is an extensive food hall, Events Cinemas, ample retail shopping, men's & women's clothing shops, four bank branches, 3 cell phone companies, at least 2 opticians, clothing repair & clothing alterations within an hour; Life pharmacy; lifts & escalators; limited walking frames, wheelchairs, mobility scooters available; stylish interior; large parking area with separate parking ground level areas & a multi-storey carparking building; bus hub adjacent in Lynden Court; other retail shopping at adjacent Chartwell Square. Everything u would expect in a modern shopping mall. Robert Robertson.

Great shops to shop around and browse. Variety is the spice of life and had no problem with car parking. Only here for a couple of hours before I go back to Akl but really thoroughly enjoying seeing different shops. Would love to come here again very soon.

The service and staff are friendly and I appreciate the seats to sit on because I have painful arthritic knees. The big problem is the lack of disability parks. Unless I arrive first thing in the morning there are no free parks close to entrances. If I park further away I am in much pain even before I get inside the mall. Many times after driving round and round I go home unable to complete my business.

Chartwell is a good mall to go to if you don't like big malls. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with a franchise in the food court!

Easy to get to, great covered parking, wheel chair lift and parks Not to big a Mall just right.

I live up the road so it is extremely handy. It has a cinema, a countdown and an Electronic's Boutique. Fantastic hair dressers, nail salons, and beauty salons.

Great range of shops and cafe's. The cinema is good too

Went here for lunch with the family. Variety of food choices which was great! Even went window shopping before heading home.

I hesitate to say how much I enjoyed shopping at Chartwell in case more people go there and spoil the vibe. Everyone you would expect in a major community mall except crowds. Excellent service across the mall and great follow up / after sale service.

Chartwell shopping centre has a wide range of stores from clothing to $2 shops to its food court and Events cinema. Things are relatively easy to find and it doesn't take long to find somewhere to get your hair cut or eat. The food court is very open and has a nice area to sit in the sun up at one end.

One place where you get everything for your life. When I was new to Hamilton I use to search for a pharmacy, super market and clothing. Then later I found this gem shopping mall in Hamilton. I would strongly say this shopping mall has variety of shops from 2$ to entertainments (Movie). It has repair shops, starbucks, food court, Farmers and salon and everything for your day to day needs in one place. Great place to spend your weekends. Also those who have kids they have a free play area where your kids can enjoy and they also

A nice shopping mall in hamilton, Newzeland. Variety of shops including coffee cafe, ice cream parlour etc. under one roof with underground car parking. Suitable for all age group people.

Great shopping centre with everything you need

Clean and tidy. However there isn't much of a shoppers "choice". There are many similar stores, the type of stores makes it feel a bit repetitive. Would be great if there could be different business types.

Has my favourite clothing store, Blue Illusion. And I got three garments for under $300. Quality and value for money.

I like Chartwell. Good choice of shops, good cafes, nice surroundings and a food hall to. Parking is good. Great place to meet.

Chartwell is our Local. Good range of shops, including foodhall. The latter could have a mix-up of variety ... we've been so often it's getting meh. Taylor's Roast is our preferred food provider. Seasonal activities plus for kids in holidays.

Enjoyed visiting. Nice lunch and friendly service at 3 shops we made purchases from today.

Crowded. Noise in the food court only go to shop in the area by Farmers Department store, Country Road, Witchery and Rodd & Gunn as it's less crowded and less screaming kids and dirty food scraps left around which is unsightly for a shopping experience.

Not really mall shoppers. dont like criwdd but Chartwell is great. loads parking. nice atmosphere. cool coffee shops. Makes the experience easier for Seniors as well as kids...

Definitely a great family activity. Delicious fruit and ice creams. Special deals/promotions were confusing with odd conditions, otherwise a good experience.

Parking spaces tight, but designated areas under cover for disabled and seniors and mum's and prams. Nice shops, quite a variety and nice coffee shops.

My favourite mall in Hamilton. Not as crowded as the base but all the best shops you need. Always get undercover parking. Laid back, clean and awesome.

Located in the heart of Chartwell suburb, this ex Westfield Shopping Centre has a variety of stores, primarily Farmers and Countdown. Food court is located on the second floor next to the events cinema. Has just recently been extended in July 2019 to include more retail see stores. Tiered carparking is available and is free.

This is a lovely busy shopping centre, with a great selection of shops.

Disappointed that they brought h&m to Hamilton tbh. Boycott fast fashion! Modern slavery is not ok.

This shopping mall is closest to my son’s school, so it's convenient. And inside has super market, Farmers, coffee shop, cinema, book store, foods area etc. Everything I need.

I wandered around - it was not too busy so was nice and relaxed - I haven't been for a while and noticed Lots if changes - we went to Hollywood for lunch - all very nice

I love chartwell square, i take my granddaughter there most weeks, everyone loves her. Today we went to the fancy chocolate place upstairs for hot drinks an then downstairs for $2 shop AWESOME!!

Good place for shopping where you have salon coutdown , key makers phone accessories or repair store 2 degree store etc. Which make a one place building for most of the services.

Chartwell is a awesome shopping mall! Features H&M, Countdown, Tank, McDonald's and many more! Not as big as the base but still one of my very favourites! :)

Lovely mall. Not too big, the shops are easily accessible and easy to find. Good variety of clothing stores, and hairdressers. Lotto, chemist, post shop. Anz, westpac and kiwibank banks. Ideal place to do some quiet shopping and enjoy a nice meal!

Great place awesome shops security guards are a bit much with following you and asking if they can carry things to the counter for you to make sure your going there other than that great shopping

A must-go place for our family, actually it is on our to-do list every week. Easy to park, not too big (not like the Base which is quite stretched out)and yet you will find most of the shops, best of all - just a short scroll from my home. Btw, I love the Bento from the Sushi shop in food court.

All the usual chain stores, a supermarket and plenty of empty shops. There are is no appliance store. It's ok for a local mall, has all the usual mall things. There is a movie theater and a food hall with all the usual chain options. There are no licenced eateries, but there is a couple of options nearby at Linden Court.

Has most things your agyer under on roof, quite handy and see some honeys about the place quite often 👌

Easy place to get around, it has all the major shops, a decent food court and a good cinema complex under one roof. Finding a carpark is easy. I prefer to go to Chartwell over the CBD and traveling to The Base.

It has grown in size since i was last here so it was nice to see a good variety of stores

The only downside is the food court. The McDonald's always takes longer than us getting our food.

Great shopping friendly staff in the shops and supermarket i am not very impressed with the recent reduction of carparks due to new alterations. xmas time and school holidays will not be pleasant to find a park Also sad to say dont like recent alterations to isles in countdown maybe im a creature of habbit but new layout does not seem practable to me

You can find everything, it is a very nice place with a variety of services and offers, I really like that they always do activities for children, it is lovely and its Christmas decoration is gorgeous . Highly recommended!!! .

Store variety leaves something to be desired (almost all clothing stores) but I enjoy coming here as it's a much more relaxed alternative to Te Awa/The Base - particularly like the food court and movie theatre.

It's a suburban shopping mall. Many of the usual outlets, a food hall, a movie theatre, a supermarket. Not particularly big, so it's easy to get around. Carparking can be very difficult, especially at Christmas.

Plenty of stores too look through clean n tidy welcoming staff willing to help

Car parking is the most painful part of going to this mall. Food court has a good selection of different food. Toilets are usually clean and tidy.

Free parking, food court upstairs open till 9pm, has a range of shops, clothing, jewellery, good movie theater, supermarket, pharmacy, farmers, lotto, and many more.

Good mall with good variety and no cost to park

Chartwell has been around forever! It has a good range of shops, banks and a good food court with something for everyone's tastes. Be aware that on peak hours Thursday - Saturday you may have difficulty finding a park, and while Chartwell is easy enough to enter, it can often be difficult to navigate traffic to leave, primarily due to the roads surrounding it being primary arterial routes for the surrounding neighbourhood.

All good place for shopping

Great retail stores, love the range of foods in the food court. I also enjoy shopping at countdown supermarket there and often take my kids to the movies.

Lots of free parking while you shop. One peculiar thing many of my friends have commented on is a person putting needles into people (blood squirts) right where the food court is. We've stopped eating from the food court.

A great multistory shopping complex, lifts as well as esculators to help getting about complex Good food & cafe's about. A good days escape if you want to let your hair down.

Great shopping mall with everything at your finger tips.. clean and tidy with plenty of parking..everything from house and garden to clothing and footwear...supermarket and ornaments..or just a coffee with lunch...great little animal trolleys for kids.....situated on claudlands road in chartwell with a fuel station right across the road plus bus service that stops right outside...wheelchair access available...as well as banking if required

This is a small shopping centre. It does have movies and a supermarket. It lacks some big retailer's like the warehouse, Noel Leeming or Harvey Norman. Very good for clothes and small homewares.

Your local shopping mall few shops around, Starbucks inside, nice mall despite sorry WiFi, use H&M free WiFi upstairs much faster. 2020/11/04 - Update after 4 months the chratwell free WiFi now unusable lol, can connect to it but no Internet!

Wanted to go look at it while staying in Hamilton.

Wonderful obliging staff and checkout people. Lots of great specials on healthy foods that I like. Today we enjoyed tender lean lamb at great special price.

Always a good place to shop for all your needs, & all under cover. Good customer service at all the shops I've visited. Brilliant free parking & bus stops right outside.

Very convenient shopping mall, easy to get parking, very closed to the bus stop, a nice place to hang out with friends and family. We love Hollywood Cafe - they have very friendly staff and good customer service, and they make very nice coffee👌👌👌👌

This is quite a large shopping centre with lots to offer the whole family from fashion to tech and lots in between. I hear Santa stops by here once a year to see the kids.

Used to be Great, seems like they have less variety now, the other malls in town tend to have a better selection of stores for my interests but it's still a good place to go for a shop, grab some food or watch a movie

There are do many shops at chartwell supermarket as well of course the food court is very popular. Having the library is another reason that I go to Chartwell happy shopping

We always find somewhere nice to have brunch and do a bit of shopping afterwards.

Chartwell is a great little mall. It has most of the major retailers a good selection of food court options as well as the cinemas.

Super quick stop at Macpac. No parking problems, hardly anyone around. In and out in 10 minutes. Easy peasy when you go early

A great little shopping centre located in Hamilton surburb of chartwell. Things you will find there:cinema, food court, cafes , all the major banks, post shop, farmers, supermarket, clothing shops, ladies footwear,barbers,24hr gym, ample parking. Things which will not find there: electronic shops, car wash (some nz malls offer grooming services for parked cars) ,hardware stores . P.s. if you want Burger King, steak, liquor store, please check the older shopping complex behind this mall. Also a gas station is behind the mall as well.

Eh it's an ok shopping centre there is a large food court and a movie theater along with a large amount of clothing stores but it's nothing special

I enjoy Chartwell as the shopping experience is always enjoyable and there is lots of easy parking. Even taking the grandchildren out for dinner in the food court is fun

This is a typical mall with all you would expect from one, apart from Glassons and Hallensteins. Typically you can get a car park close, however you may find difficulty finding a park during long weekends and Xmas, where everyone decides to go shopping.

Parking can be an issue if you go there to late so get in early this place still retains its magic for a suburban shopping centre nice atmosphere great shops

A mall is a mall is a mall. This one is in Hamilton's northeast. Free parking, Countdown supermarket, cafes, banking and a host of stores catering to suberb-dwellers. No hardware store in sight.

I have been going to chartwell since I was a little girl with my parents. Now I take my own teens there. The atmosphere is always great and we enjoy our time there.

This mall has carries most of the local labels and has fairly good sized Supermarket. My husband and I usually catch asian movies that plays at Events Cinema.

Always able to get close parking. Good spacious area in aisles and shops.

Busy as always in the holidays. Having to keep out of running kids can be auquade but, a great mall. All up.

Good selection of shops, plenty of prams and wheelchairs available and even houses a drop-in childcare and park. Free parking is also a bonus

I go there to do my shopping every week and sometimes Mr and husband go to the movies and a dinner out it's awesome..you get to meet alot of people there so friendly..😄

Chartwell has a lot to offer and a great layout. However this mall is struggling to keep up with The Base with the store range and number of stores in general.

I find it has more shops than in Center Place. Surrounding the mall are more services such as dentristry, library, restaurants etc. Chartwell is convinient also because it is close to the University.

Most of the things you need, plus free parking. Accessible access to all ends, and scooters available etc. Often has entertainment for the kiddies etc, especially during holidays.

Always clean, neat & tidy venue.

Only went to the theatre. Good quality and comfy seating. Food a bit pricy but that's standard for movie theaters these days.

This shopping centre is in the heart of Chartwell. Has the essential shops and a small eatery area. It is nice and the shops have good deals.

Dont shop here normally but wow it was great to have a good look around will definately be going back agsin

Ok more mens shops needed and nicer flow to Lynden court. Even better close the road and intergrate Lynden Court with the mall.

In the last 15 years chartwell has become a very staple part in the larger community. Although it's not as big as the base it offers everthing you need from a mall. With the mall been sold from westfeild it seems that the new owners are opening shops that suit the people who visit Chartwell.

Recommend visiting during work periods, stressless. Recommend the Robert Harris cafe for lunch, home bakery, good to see young NZlanders,& student's employed too.

This shopping center lacks great diversity of stores. Most of the stores are either clothing or home wares. There are no technology shops apart from Spark, Vodafone and EB Games.

Good assistance from all the staff in the stores we visited. Injoyed our visit.

Cinema is nice, and there's a Starbucks which is great... Other than that, you're probably better off going to Centre Place or The Base.

Really liked the food court here and parking for cars seemed satisfactory but I would like to have seen provisions for cyclists.

You can get most of what you need at Chartwell, especially with having a supermarket and Farmers department store in the same location. It can get very busy, particularly on the weekends, which can make parking close to impossible.
