A great place to spend a rainy afternoon. Aside from the shopping there are a number of businesses co-located. For example; watties, family planning and wax n' laser. EB games are still selling 360 titles while other stores are not supporting this nostalgia. Food court is bustling with diners on most visits and cinemas and supermarkets are all within reach.

This was new year weekend and not a lot open. Called in here and ate in the food court, which is not our norm. Other half had roast beef and thought the beef was soft and yum I had vitamesse Flatbread dish which I enjoyed.

Enjoyable and convenient location. Has most needs for everyone and definitely a variety of stores for Christmas shopping. Peak hour parking is pretty much the only hassle.

Lovely shopping complex, not cramped you can see most shops from any point.

Great cleaning crew at the eating area of the mall. Crew are eagle eyed and clean up the tables as soon as they are vacated. Always smiling in a hard working environment.

Love this place. Luxury mall with all shop here. Kmart, Farmers, Postie, ....Have a lot of food here with nice taste.

Fine,as far as shopping malls go. I am not a great fan of these. However,I got what I wanted including an excellent iced coffee.

A good variety of shops and free parking (unless council decides to ignor residents and introduces their proposed parking charges).

Absolutely love the Christmas tree and santa set up. Mall had everything else needed, good clean facilities.

Didn't enjoy my visit, too many adults and kids. I like going early to shop to avoid the noise.

Pretty good shopping options but the food court is AMAZING (to my tastes at least). There's Mexican, Vietnamese, two Japanese options, Indian, McDonald's, Pita Pit, Tank, a roast meal offering... Yum!

I always come here every week and it's a good place to get a quick munch, it's always clean and tidy.

Some great shops and a great cafe! Even though I do have Vertigo, so indoor shopping malls make me dizzy!

Watch out if going to movies . Wilson parking you with $60 tickets if a minute over 3hrs.

Was a great day to choose to go to.the shopping centre with my kids having a my little pony show on, was a great treat for my 3yo and 1yo. Always something new to see at the mall. Good shops too, always love coming down to North city as I dont get out that way often.

FILIPINO FOOD WAS AWESOME THEN THE COFFEE CHOCOLATE THAT WAS COMPLIMENTARY WAS SUBLIME.I WILL BE BACK.

Shopping mall in Porirua. Book shops, fashion, movies, food courts, sports shops, shoes Clinic, cafes, jewellery and even a 2 dollar shop. Also there is K Mart, and Farmers. New world supermarket nearby. Plenty of parking for free, generally 3 hours or 4 hours at the under ground parking lot of New World site.

I usually go for the Kmart... And then I walk past the Cinema stairs... Mmmmmmm 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 😜 yummmy nah great mall.

Excellent shopping under 1 roof. Although a few gaps where there once were shops. Highlight was K Mart, lots of variety and very helpful staff, intact all staff in all shops were great ( that definitely put the marks up to 4)

I popped into the store because my sister-in-law was looking for something at Acquisitions. But while she was looking around, I bought her a birthday card for tomorrow. The staff were great. It is a great store to shop or have a browse in. Then we went to the bargain imports place on the lower floor, and got some band aids. My sister-in-law got a tub of 3kg Vanish powder.

You can find different brands inside this shopping mall. Kmart, just jeans, postie, etc. It also has a number of good cafés. It has huge parking slots and covered parking as well.

North City is thriving. My partner and I go there most weekends. Oddly it's the people-watching that draws us back. There's a wide range of food options upstairs including Tank for smoothies and Butlers Chocolate cafe. The moving stairway between floors should make access practical for everyone (no steps as the stairway moves up or down).

An enjoyable place to shop. Management need to organize copies of the Covid poster rather than just having ONE at the main doors which thousands pass thru!😀 Plus: I never understand why the Disability toilets don't have bag hooks!

Stopped in at Lower for thier Hoodie Tee Pants sale. Bargain. Haven't been in Ptown in a while but really love how it feels like a proper mall.

Went for lunch in the food court. Amazing variety of food. All polite workers, helpful and friendly. Cost effective items.

Porirua mall,if you haven't been there you should go has everything.you will love dinning and shopping there.

A wide variety of clothing and services. Highly recommended to fellow shoppers that are looking to buy different products. Really comfortable place to sit and relax and customer service that always seems to get better. Everything here at your disposal, especially like Kmart... the doorman/security guy is always cheerful!!

Very will stocked and set out sales as good as Briscoes don't have to have Sales nearly every month to keep going just wait for Farmers to find good bargains sales staff unseen except on paying for your purchase but that could be because holiday season

Great place for shopping and forgetting about the time and money spent. Finding a park was very hard, ended up leaving to park else where and walked back. At Majestic cafe we got one milk Belgium chocolate mocha and the other Belgium dark chocolate. It wasn't too sweet and very creamy. Very well worth it, priced between $4.50-$6? Can't remember too well.

It was GR8T returning after the few weeks being in lock down. I hope all whom haven't been go as it is a GR8T mall for all

Small centre (big for Wellington) but there is always parking and enough shops to get what you want. Very generic with the expected stores. Restrooms could be cleaner and so can foodcourt but that's more to do with irresponsible shoppers than staff as some people will just not clean up after themselves. Many stores in the surrounding area so it can be a good shopping experience with little travelling.

Not sure if the free wifi is working here. Checked with a few people, having trouble connecting with wifi here. Only one halal place at the food court. Plenty of parking. Food court needs a hand washing station. The one in place is taken by the cleaning crew.

Depending on who you are and what you are looking for your shopping experience at North City can be different. I find for myself it's an okay place for the odd item, however the selection of stores for a young adult such as myself I really only go to a few stores. The mall is a bit outdated as well, nothing wrong with it, just not as modern as something you would see in somewhere like Auckland. But as I said again it really depends on what type of stuff your looking for.

Decent place for late evening shopping on Thursdays.

Our experience at this food outlet was truely amazing. The staff and the food were truely top rate. Will be back for lunch there again real soon. AAA +

Nice place to hang around and go shopping

Kmart plaza ,North city is a great place to shop,meet for a coffee or just dine at,there's plenty to keep the little ones busy so mums and nanny's can catch up. The facilities are well managed and cleaning staff are very discrete and helpful too

Great mall, couldn't ask for more, although at least a solid 10% of people there wear the same hallensteins clothes.

Covid rules are in place and several stores have closed, however North City now has a Starbucks

Great shops, parking a bit hard to find but after 5-7 minutes find around and following people to their cars...you'll find one. Love their extended Christmas hours...very convenient. Plus...all.ahops very clean and tidy...appealing to the eye whilst shopping.

It is one of the few things I enjoy in Porirua. There’s a great range of shops unlike a lot of malls these days and there’s plenty of cafes and places to eat with plenty of food choices from many different countries. There is also comfy seats to rest on the bottom floor and the interior design is appealing. Overall great mall

there are some amazing shops in this mall clothing shops , jewellery, books hairdressers you name it they have got it . also have public toilets. when you have finished your shopping and feel you need a bite to eat, they have food courts situated throughout the mall, where is this place located in Porirua on Titahi Bay Rd take the family along you will enjoy the place and what it has to offer

Mall well packed with all the shops you will ever need. But parking is a nightmare would recomend going early morning to save going round in circles.

North City is a nice medium size mall in a great location. There is a good range of shops, including variety Farmers and Kmart. The food court has great options, and there are cafes also. There is plenty of parking, but it is not uncommon to see it full. New World is just outside.

It's a great place to take your family there's food court McDonald's fashion you can set and chat with your family. The food it's great. I don't know what do if building outside North City Plaza but he has a lot of low cost shops.

COVID is wreaking havoc on this place too

Quite amazing with the food court and the various shops from gaming stores like eb games and small malls shops like farmers and kmart but is smaller than a normal mall but still good should go to

You either love or hate going to the mall. In my case I love it! I love going to EB games whilst waiting for a tank juice. The mall has one of my favorite stores, kmart!! I also like the variety of different foods in the food court. I would however suggest more rubbish bins around the food court area and a better play area (just a little more added to it)

Nice mall, went last week for Christmas presents and we went to see Santa and got a free book! I really like the Farmers and Kmart, I know they're similar stores but they compliment each other. I also really like the cinema, it's our new go to cinema. And in the food court, I really like the new Mexican restaurant, I really like Mexican food and there aren't many places to get it in the Wellington area, and it's fairly authentic.

It's okay. Just need better variety. The restaurant that serves the roast - their meat was dry both times that I've bought from there hoping the 2nd time was better but wasn't. A lot of seating available though which is good at peak hour

always have a good experience at check out or even found check out staff to be very helpful, especially during the covid issues and lock downs they made sure we all new where to go and directed every one I am very impressed with new world porirua, and that's coming from an ex new world check out operator. great service.

A pretty good shopping experience, lots of selection. There's a Reading theatre, food court, banking, plenty of free car parking, a New World supermarket out front and sports both Farmers and KMart inside.

has a huge Christmas tree best viewed from the escalator, I'd advise going early in the run up to Christmas as it can get very busy

North City has a lot to offer with shops and cafes. Kmart, Farmers, Max is where I shop. I grab a coffee at Majestic or Butler's. Food court has plenty of variety. Good parking which is free for 4 hours.

Good place to shop and hang out. It has a good food court, with a wide variety of food, I really enjoy the dumplings from Mint dumpling. They also have a good selection of non-food stores aswell. And of course Kmart is great for everything.

I don't often have the chance to go and enjoy shopping and looking around in North City but this particular morning was not very busy at that time and it was great just enjoying and not feeling rushed.

Glad to see covid has not shut down their shops ... a great asset for Porirua

Pretty standard range of shops, including KMart, and plenty of cafés, adequate (but time limited) free parking, a cinema, and a food court with some interesting options. Busy especially around lunchtime and at the weekend.

I've been here for just over a year and I still tend to get lost 🤣 It the best mall that I've been in so far 🤠

Could be better more high Street stores but over all good although I wish they would monitor who parks in mother and baby spots and fine those who don't have kids. Also good sushi and Vietnamese options for food and lots of others.

I can't explain it, but all the customers I see here seem to have tons more energy than the customers who mooch around Queensgate mall. Is it something in the water? 😂 As a result, the atmosphere in North City Plaza is totally refreshing!

Disappointed that the seating in the food court is now less than when we were in lockdown last time. Meant no available seating for 4 so we left and went to a sit down restaurant. Time was before noon and some tables were 4 metres apart. Losing money here.

First time to visit North City, I am surprised to see so many great shops there. Great food court, heaps of choices. Good catch up with friends. Definitely comeback again next time.

I always like to go there for a day out mostly on the weekends. Lots of shops to look at including the food court and four caffes to relax while enjoying a cup of coffee. Lots of parking available and has always someone sitting at the reception to ask for help if needed.

Kmart Porirua is now self service and makes shopping alot more faster when able to process purchasing all the versatile products found in its large department store. Located on ground floor and so is very accessible for wheelchairs and prams also. Bargains and essentials found was extra bonus making my visit quick and enjoyable and alot cheaper then expected!!!

Loads of shops to go through as well as lots of food to choose from. Seems like there will not be enough parking during peak times however most other times there is adequate parking. The Kmart store is usually a mess be prepared to wade through that if you go there

New place to shop for us. Very busy. Clean and tidy!

Medium size mall, most shops are in the affordable range, small food court not enough options. The whole place has one parents room with two changing tables and 3 feeding cabins, and long queues.

Definitely has upgraded since the early 2000s. Good amount of decent stores for all your needs.

4 stars because kmart is open until 12am and because they recently extended their closing time out from 5pm to 6pm. Otherwise it's alright it's on the smaller side but the location in the middle of the CBD is very handy with free parking and supermarkets close by. Has a cinema but don't expect a gold lounge.

North City is a small local mall. It does not have the variety of shops that large malls has, but it has all the essentials. A Pharmacy, A Farmers A Kmart Adollar type store too. And the dentists are fantastic too

We were pleasantly surprised to see so many great shops there. We bought mens' and womens' articles in Farmers, as well as having vegetarian and chicken dumplings with an Asian salad for lunch.

Very good, except being disabled, there is total disregard for permitted parking spots by general public.

Really decent place to shop for any- and everything at, they've always got what you're looking for. There's multitudes of awesome, cool shops to visit, and very delicious healthy options too!

With all the variety of shops, easy ground level parking, free wheelchair hire just inside the entrance, friendly staff, good lifts and a lovely sunny food court this is the best choice in the Wellington region for a relaxed day out shopping with a disabled or elderly parent Wish all shopping centres cared like Porirua rather than just doing the minimum facilities law requires which sums up many others. Thank You Porirua.

All good but remember when parking park facing the wind so doors don't now open

Good food court and a reasonable selection of shops. Importantly, lots of undercover parking and good amenities. Connected to a supermarket and includes a chemist that is open on the weekend and can fill scripts

I went to Tank. My lunch was delicious. I recommend it.

Just your standard shopping mall - I will say the staff at the pharmacy (located down by new world) were friendly & helpful. Food court has standard fare - I recommend the $5 falafel burgers (get two!) Or if you want to splash out the ox bowls are generally good - little pricey at $14 for large but delicious & lots of options. The best time to go is 10 am or near that time as everything is super fresh, but lunchtime is good too. Lots of seating in the center of food court. Has mcdonalds for those who like that, and Indian & nz Asian type places + 2 dumplings places. The fresh juice place is pricey but deliciously healthy.

It's good place but problem is the people who lives in that area. Crazy drivers specially lady drivers. Very bad mannered people. Saw some young teanage girls stealing clothes and running away from a shop and informed the lady who's at the counter and she told it always happens.

Reminded me on some run down malls in the US. Small mall and all shops are a kittle bit smaller than at Queen's Gate Lower Hutt

It's the mall cx I've loved it since I was a kid and the food court is ever changing cx not much to say other than if you're looking for something you will most likely find it somewhere in the mall cx I used to work here too haha and they're a friendly bunch 🥰

A centre worth visiting, not always full of people but busy all day, the food court is as busy as ever including the weekend and holidays. A compact place to wonder and shop and eat.

Great place to shop for clothes and for house hold things. There are few cafes in the shopping mall also. If you are quite hungry then you can go to food court also that is on the 1st floor.

Not a bad place to kill time.

Fairly hard for someone who's afraid of crowds but the same goes for any mall. The only complaint I have is that it can be rather difficult to navigate and parking can get pretty hecktic (new world sides your best bet)

Large shopping mall. Has lots of parking Has reading cinemas. Kmart. Hannahs. Has food court first floor. Mc donalds. Spice land. A kebab place. Postie Has New world. Super Market. Right opposite the railway station. Usually most stores are open till 6 pm every day. But I think on Thursday it's open till 9 PM.

This mall is actually really good but one thing that I wish it would have is a noel leemings store or just a store that sells tech related products

Pretty much what you would expect from most shopping centers anywhere.... nothing outstanding here as to shopping and or entertainment... good car parking and basic movie theater in so far as a small 3 cinema Readings theater.

This place is massive, heaps of shops, lots of eateries. Movie theatre and new shops opening. Reckons it's better than Queensgate in Lower Hutt.

Very average mall with little variety to shops. Limited good choice in the food court which is predominate in the Asian food. No pizza or alternative burgers to Mc D's.

Car park is very full during peak hours. Lots of fantastic shopping once inside.

Thie mall is pretty handy but it can do with a better selection of shops. There is no where for big tall guys to shop at shoes clothing all of it is aimed at the average person.

The area is flat and all shop is cheaper, and I love Porirua club,new pool table play only $1 for 60 minutes 8 balls or snooker. I love it. Go the HURRICANE

I like the size of the mall. Everything in easy reach. Nicely set out with a great food court on the second level. The staff at the information counter are nice and polite.

I grew up in Porirua. I remember a time when Dekka was there. Lol. The Plaza looks good. The seating area by the stage is a great place to sit and have a Wendy's Mega Choc Shake.

Love this shopping center, mainly go to visiit K-Mart but also check out T&T etc while we are there. Foodcourt has a good variety and everynow and then they have shows on for all the kids which is usually entertaining.

Food court is pleasant, and has good variety. Farmers is undergoing refurbishmet - new layout to win me over yet. Whitcoulls & EB Games are Iooking a bit tired.

Great place, good restaurants and shops. The security need to stop racial profiling & following them around the shops, not all with darker skin are thieves or upto mischief.
