Great place. Fantastic range of Bars and restaurants. Loads of popular chain shops. Very busy and finding a parking spot can be a challenge.

This is the heart of the Queenstown City. There are a lot of stores for shopping and eateries. The location is easily accessible by road and on foot from nearby places. The lake front park and beach are an awesome place to chill and enjoy the summer weather. Winter time is equally magical after snowfall. Parking can be an issue given the busy season and hours. Highly recommended.

Very cool lots to see and do

The most beautiful town in New Zealand. I wish I could stay here much longer! Do enjoy the magnificent views, coffee by the pier and best Burger in the world!

Awesome so helpful

For the rich and famous here if you can recognize them. From LV to Farmers. From the long queue famous burger shop to Bk. From Sotheby to our own Professional. From international ski fields to our first bungee jumping place. Our own small Monte Carlo of the southern hemisphere.

Most beautiful view in nz

I didn't go on the boat but I took the picture from a distance while we had dinner at the Prime restaurant upstairs. There were about 8 people on the floating bar that night. I wasn't sure if that was private or for the public but will find out next time.

Very friendly locals. Highly recommend the Spanish tapas bar on waterfront. Very generous and hospitable owner.

Great idea. You can take your own food and just buy drinks from them. That too at decent pricing !

It's a beautiful place to visit if it's either with your friends/family of by yourself. Everything Is very close and it's nice to have all the stores you need within a 5 minute walk. There are a wide range of restaurants that you can dine in. There are also some real charmers of stores around the place. If you had a day off and you were near Queenstown, I'd highly recommend that you should go there for a day

Touristy centre but still a great vibe, with music ,and if you venture across towards the gardens ,some interesting areas.

Always a great experience, not so busy without the overseas tourists.

Very beautiful city with nice nightlife. The city centre is not large, just some short streets around the harbour, but for us as a first-time visitor it was waonderfull. The harbour is surrounded by bars and resturants. We saw many fruit trees on the streets and parks, mostly peach, apple and apricot.

Great place to bring a picnic lunch or enjoy an ice cream. Soak up the scenery or stretch your legs walking along the lake.

Markets are Outstanding! Every Saturday

No other place than Queenstown.

Friendly, welcoming & huge choice of shops with friendly staff & magical.views & good entertainment & choice of activities . Very fresh local food esp. Seafood . Australia could learn from their loyalty to local products instead of our imported frozen ( especially seafood ) from dubious suppliers mostly in Asia Accountants sadly run most of our restaurants & pubs in Oz Save a cent here, save a cent there . Most Australians would prefer to support our local products esp.our superior wild caught Seafood & pay a little more & esp. If shown on menus where products come from.

The City Centre is great. It's full of great restaurants and nice stores, it's pretty and clean. Fergburger is a must try (15 min wait in Winter), Taco Medic was warm, well decorated and decent tacos, Cookie Time is awesome and new if you haven't been to a cookie only store before.

Bustling centre for extreme sports of all sorts. Also a good place for shopping and restaurants. Boats of all sorts,shapes and sizes offer trips on the lake.
