A really nicely presented mall.if you didn't know better you could be tricked into thinking you were in a mall in Australia. Fantastic shop selection and really tidy. The outer mall shops have another great shop selection. Kmart. Gun city to name a few. But do note that this K Mart is the best k Mart you'll ever go into. So so tidy and great stick selection.

Visiting Nelson with a a Cyclone for company and a Mall is always good refuge. Nice mall, friendly people and Restrooms were clean and well serviced. Have to give a Shout Out to the young lady in Health 2000, who was Outstanding in her understanding of the products she was selling and not pushy, just honest information.

The oldest mall in Nelson, but regularly freshened up by the owners. Good balance of stores, well placed within the building, quality air conditioning, good colour scheme, not over the top music or noise level. As a commercial landlord irate this 7 out of ten.

Great mall with variety of shops in air conditioned environment, plenty of easy parking. I had a haircut at JustCuts which was excellent. Food court serves delicious food at reasonable prices.

Nice and tidy compact mall. Has variety to shops and coffee shops. Great to walk around. A lot of friendly staffs and people. Mall has a nice playing area for kids near the food court. Staff keeps its clean all the time.

Fabulous mall - great selection, clean, safe, friendly retailers and great free parking. Loving Richmond and all it has to offer.

It's a very good small shopping mall with about 40 businesses on-site. Still able to find many things that you would in other town malls, but because of the size of the town and the proximity to its main street precinct, it's going to be limited.

It has grown a lot since I was last there and parking has also grown which is a winning bonus. There are a good variety of shops of which I'm sure you will find something that will spark an interest. If you are up in Nelson it's worth a pop in and you never know what you may find.

Free parking. There’s pretty much everything you need here. Nice baby/change room complete with chalkboard to keep toddlers/preschoolers entertained while you change baby, a microwave, couch and babyfeeding cubicles just in case you want extra privacy. I’ve never had a problem breastfeeding my children anywhere in the Mall it’s pretty well accepted. There’s also a little playground/play-area next to the food court that’s suitable for preschool aged children. Beware the rain brings the crowd!!

Well appointed mall with decent food options. Nice mix of boutique shops and larger commercial shops. PaknSave near by. Pharmacy available.

I think this is a great little mall & it's quite popular for it's size. That popularity is of course due to the people that work in it. I visited a few of the shops & all had one thing in common..... good service that came with smiles. Great stuff Richmond.

Find the mall easily by street signs. Good car parking. Had what I needed on a Saturday afternoon. Toilets were a little messy from dirty shoes and a freshly moped for that hasn't been able to dry. Good amount of stores. Food court had a good variety of experiences to try. Sale signs dragged me in and got me spending. Attached to a pakn save supermarket which also came in handy. Good buzz of people and easy flies through out the mall made it easy to navigate around

Nice and bright shopping mall. Plenty of great stores eg: farmers dept store, pagani and spark. Supermarkets shopping if you need food fresh choice or pak n save. 🤗

Pretty has everything you need. Has range of shops and definitely my preferred option when comparing to shopping in the city.

Busy but we found a quiet place for lunch at 'Ginger'. Lovely iced coffee and light lunch.

Richmond Mall Lots to see buy and eat. Free Parking. Several ways and roads to access parking. Large lot of toilets with parents with children separate group and disabled . Supermarkets at 2 ends and rest rooms in middle mall. Interesting selection of food. I used Pack and Save and Ginger to eat. Both these places are right by the disabled parking. It was being evectively used while I was there. Variety of other shops and Farmers Michael Hill etc.

Malls are going to be bustling places most of the time, I get it, but I'm not fond of having to walk through the food court dodging and weaving through people just so I can get from the entrance to the rest of the shops. Parking on the west side of the mall is tricky but can be done without too much hassle.

Has a couple of decent places here. Cuts at once have an awesome team. And the Indian food there is not badly priced and quite decent

Clean, public bathrooms is available. I like that the mall has a Pack and Save near, because I can enjoy myself for a day of shopping and still get milk and bread afterwards, don't have to drive somewhere else.

This place is all right. It's the closest thing we have to a mall in the Tasman/Nelson Reigon. Plenty of shops and the food court is actually quite good. Not bad to hang out for a few hours or so but it eventually get boring so...

The only mall in the top of the South and very well worth a visit. A great range of stores, a great mall layout and a fantastic food court.

Every shop within walking distance with good covid 19 rules

Hi, I drew these when I ate Mcdonalds happy meal alone, and some indian food. The chairs were very comfy, I stayed there for 3 hours because my friend forgot about me. The mall was nice, it made me stop crying when I looked up at the plastic vines. There is only 4 stars not 5 because I wasn't able to purchase crocs and ngl I miss the frozen yogurt place :((

Richmond mall, a great place to shop , even with family.

Better than shopping in Nelson and free parking is a plus. Lots of parks.

Small mall compared to a large city mall but still has a good variety of shops & a food hall. Has 2 supermarkets & farmers plus a good selection of other stores.

Plenty of cleaners, the tables are always clean in the food court. Speciality shops are a good variety. Carpark getting rather full, probably need to look at a multi-level structure in a few years time.

I like the mall. But it's rather small, the food court gets very packed. There's not a great deal there really. All the cleaning staff are so friendly which is awesome. And the bathroom facilities are great!! Especially the parents room really well looked after.

This is a lovely golf course and we were privileged to play as visitors. For newcomers the lack of hole information boards at the tees was a disappointment but perhaps there are reasons for this?

Good parking and all the shopping required in easy walking distance. Nelson needs to get with the times , they need to build parking buildings and do away with the metered to revive the shopping experience, ie look forwards not back.

Not the biggest malls but it has variety.

I'm not much of a mall rat but I appreciate that it has enough shops and services without being a carbon-copy of all the big city malls, and it isn't big enough to get lost in. Reasonable choice in the food court (the only one in the Nelson area? Now there's an opportunity), with some healthy options too. Loos are large and always well serviced, there's a parents' room, occasional pop-up shops, and usually enough close-by parking so you don't get drowned on a wet day.

vibrant and cute mall. we were on a trip passing Richmond and finding this mall was a blessing because we could buy all of groceries and other stuff we needed here. there is supermarket, warehouse, pharmacy and everything here

Always enjoy going to the Richmond Mall. Free parking is a bonus. Everything I need is all there. The staff that clear and the tables are efficient and friendly. The mall is always clean. Recommend people to shop there and have a coffee at the new revamped muffin break. Happy shopping.

Toilets are always clean...a varied food court and heaps of good shopping and coffee to be had ... and you can do your food shopping on the way home too!😊👊😊

Great place to shop and get lunch

In a place where this is the only mall, it automatically stands out. It's clean, well maintained, and a good selection of retailers. Parking is tight since KMart opened and that won't get any better. With Richmond booming the traffic and parking will continue to get worse, sadly.

It's a mall what else can I say

Lovely Cafe located outside the Richmond Mall. Seating available outside. Good coffee and cafe style food with savoury and sweet muffins plus a chef on site. Prices on a par with other cafes so moderate pricing. Iced coffee was the best I have tasted.

Given how busy this mall can get, it's amazingly clean and well maintained...especially the bathrooms. Good little food hall with enough choice and nice selection of small and main brand stores. Huge amount of parking, but watch out for weekends when it's still a challenge to get parked. Try the back carpark of the library instead.

Friendly, super clean & versatile,, but needs more disabled parking as 3 parks have been taken away in the past year. Maybe also invest in covered multiple car parking in the future.

Changed my review to 5 star after moving to Timaru. Though a smaller mall than cities the food stops are yummy and there are a good selection of shops available.

An absolutely amazing and beautifully laid out mall that really does provide everything you could need. I've lived in the area all my life and the Richmond Mall has always been a favourite shopping and social spot. Love it!!

Nice roomy mall, with plenty of store fronts to bring variety.

Two supermarkets, Farmer's, the Warehouse, and KMart, health shops/pharmacies, clothing, shoes, mobile phones, stationery shops, etc. All you'd expect plus a decent food court and a handful of cafés besides. Clean, nice toilets including separate area for families with a TV and safety gate. Parking could be better!

Always a nice change to visit Richmond Mall, not too large, easy to walk and find certain shops.

Clean usually fairly quiet place to shop with lots of parking. All major Kiwi chain stores are hear, including a couple of supermarkets.

You need new stores and not be so geared around the food court. Not a comfortable mall due to size and open noisy food court it.

Richmond mall. spent a couple days coming here to eat inside at the food court.. had no issues n enjoyed all three meals i had.. tidy, clean descent sized single storey mall, the back west end of the mall slopes down into the centre aera seems odd shops inside are sloped builds but a nice place to come shop away from the city cbd.

A very large shopping mall with all the shops you could want under one roof and cafes and a food court. You could live here and never need to anywhere else!

fast service but meals are very small for the money. But on the other hand very clean. Every night at 11:30 every machine is taken to the back and cleaned individually. basically highly sanitary but not very good taste or portion size

Very convenient. Has every store that I am looking for. Too bad it's the only one in the bay though, I don't mind traveling from Nelson to Richmond but I would pretty much prefer it if there were a mall much closer to the Brook.

Loads of different shops and a new one that sells really fancy cheesecakes, by the cake, 1/4 or slice, plus cute little lollypops for the children 🎂😊. It is opposite the sourdough bakery, another fav of mine :)

Pretty average mall. Got to meet up a friend here that I met in California after a year! Had no pick one of the cafe's as the food court was way to load for a decent conversation. You could see that some of the white privilege folk were picking up on my browness. Got a few cold blue eyed stares. Hahaa.

Good for the size of the city

It's a decent mall for a small town. Tons of parking. Lots of speciality shops. Is also close to other large department stores making it a kind of one stop shop for not people in the Richmond / Motueka area.

Just about everything under one roof, with a great parent room for babies and toddlers. New floor tiles are angled in some places and are slippery, wear shoes with grip.

Got what I needed ok. But it's still a mall. I prefer accessing shops from the street. Malls have too little personal space.

Nice clean mall but parking can be a problem and watch fast traffic if you are with kids or elderly as everyone uses the car park as a connecting street and travel very quickly.

Convenient parking is just the first thing. Lots of shops to browse. And, of course supermarkets. Supervalue and Pak & Save. A very light and airy place to visit.

The best place in Richmond to go to for food, shopping and just to meet up. Almost everything of note in Richmond is in or walking distance from this mall. It truly is centre of it all

I don't go to the Mall often but when I do it's great to be able to browse around the shops

Modern and easy to navigate environment. Big Box stores situated appropriately away from the main Mall. Sufficient parking, a bit tight, but sufficient.

Always have trouble getting disability car park here. Really?? 4 disability parks out front with a massive old age community? Good food places tho

Not the biggest variety of shops but whats there is great and the German Bakery Rod Rigos is worth a visit for scrumptious baked bread

Had a lovely mocha at Squire's cafe. The muffins and slices were delicious and the service quick and pleasant.

Great place to visit and to shop, clean well equipped bathrooms and a huge variety of retail shops that cater for everyone.

Pools are a great busy and bustling place to take your children. Two things come to mind when rating my experiences here as I go weekly with my 1 year old. Firstly, I would love to see more staff/lifeguards monitoring the side of the building that the 4 smaller pools are located as there is many under 2's (at least on a Saturday when I go) and I find that older children seem to be left to their own devices amongst the littlies and I feel like I'm constantly guarding my little one from screaming, kicking, splashing and dive bombing off the sides in to these little pools full of babies. If I have a question about anything I have to get out with the baby and walk the length of the big pools to find a staff member. The second thing that comes to mind is a lack of cleanliness, especially in the family changing facilities. The last thing I want to do is put the baby down on the scummy ground where she can collect anything from blood covered bandages to wet toilet paper but I must to allow free hands to get dressed myself. I do find reception and cafe staff very friendly and helpful. Thanks!

The only real mall in the Nelson region, so it's a pretty busy hub. Has the only EB games, Pak n Save and Kmart in the region also.

This place has the freshest bread I have ever eaten and all products do not taste like prricessed food, very fresh and such a great taste.
