The best mall in the Hutt Valley. Heaps of shops and a good food court. Really good toilets and a separate room for babies/kids. Some of the service at a few of the shops is sub standard though.

Was fine. Our family got sent out of ASB, as they only allow 6 people at a time. Pretty inconvenient when you have 2 under 12s with you. Everyone had banking to do!

It is a functional Mall. Good selection of smaller vendors and plenty of variety as well as the bigger shops. WiFi mostly works, coffee is ok. Places to chill and sit. Not too noisy and enough people to make it interesting.

Bit disappointing unless you are going to The Warehouse or Lincraft, I wouldn't bother. A trip to Lower Hutt is a better option

Some of the shops in the mall are great. Number one shoes is my go to place for shoes, for instance. If all the shops in the mall were as good I would score the mall more highly. I rarely eat in the mall unless I am shouted as the food is too pricey.

Nice to be out-of the rain. Warehouse, Farmers, and many other shops that make shopping easy.

Lots of amazing stores, have to be aware of where you are, as no maps in mall, so remember what level or entrance you cane in from. Apart from that a good variety. My favorite store is mooch and mingle. Have fun.

If you live in Upper Hutt and haven't gone to the mall yet then you need to go! Great place for shopping, and you could get some food in 5 minutes anywhere inside, or outside The Mall. Shopping is pretty good, and there is a good range of stores in there. Including, but not limited to; The Warehouse, Farmers, Muffin Break, Tank juice bar, Shake Shed & co, and Lincraft. - S & A

Great variety of stores, easy access, great underground parking and disability access. Bathrooms on both floors and nice open plan. Good place to shop and have a coffee break.

The Upper Hutt Mall is a refreshing change from the bedlam of Westfield!! No crowds if teeny hoppers, so you can relax and enjoy your coffee and scone. Good range of stores to choose from, none of which are staffed by plastic people!!

Pleasant enough with a range of shops, two coffee places and an Indian restaurant. The entrance from the High Street is easily missed and a very uninspiring 'foyer'. Free underground parking.

The Mall seems to be livening up. They are well supplied with cafes. Its main draw back appears to be that it is well hidden on Main St. Visitors to Upper Hutt would have to know of it before arriving.

I enjoy walking through the mall. Nice selection of shops and have found what I need every time. Good parking as well, which makes shopping really convenient.

It's a reasonably new (or recently renovated) suburban mall. Not particularly large and it has most of the types of shop you would expect. Easy to get around and there appeared to be plenty of parking.

I returned to Upper Hutt after 13 years away and was pleasantly surprised to see The Mall busy and humming along. I appreciated the onsite parking space. Shoppers were visiting stores, not sure if buying but I bought a christmas stocking filler in Bed Bath & Beyond's sale. The Lincraft store was new to me and has such a wide range of supplies at good prices. Coffee at Muffin Break is always tasty. The Mall is a good place to spend the afternoon.

I Shop at the Warehouse several times a week but the rest might as well not be there (for me anyway). Lifts not working are a curse.

The Mall has improved a lot over the last few months. Lots of shops, a really good range. The Mall is clean and fresh looking, and seems busy. Lots of free parking. I always enjoy shopping here.

Lots of quality goods in these shops. Good range of prices throughout the Mall. Plenty of good Food places catering for most tastes. Clean toilets available. Lots of parking on 3 levels. Pays to be early for shopping on weekends as the carpark fills up pretty quickly. Enjoy your shopping experience.

This mall has quite a few different shops ranging from clothes to bookshops and warehouse. It has an assortment of cafes with underground parking.

Not crazy busy, always relaxing and good coffee at Muffin break, easy to get salespeoples attention they are alawys lovely friendly try their best to help you. and best of all, parking a breeze. Love it.

Thank goodness to have a mall in the middle of town. It makes shopping a pleasant experience when the weather is bad. There are some super clothing stores and Farmers is there too. The food on offer looks great, but most seating areas are in the middle of the busy area. Undercover parking fills up fast on busy days.

The Mall (I hope nobody got paid to come up with that name!) in Upper Hutt is still very hit or miss after being open for years. Shops range from cheap $2 stores to upmarket clothes shops like the Vogue store. However, after a long time there are still some empty shops and very few eating options (the long promised food court has never opened). Anchor store is a large The Warehouse branch. Compared to Queensgate in Lower Hutt it is uncrowded and usually easy to get a car parking spot. Worth a look but not very exciting.

The upper hutt mall is very spacious and offers plenty of stores including warehouse, muffin break, shoe store.... Basement parking for 2h with plenty off road public parking.

Slightly small standard grubby mall. It Doesn't have much in the way of food court options but there is plenty on the main Street anyway. All the times we have been there it has been easy to find a park. It does have a surprisingly big warehouse.

Upper Hutt's only mall, it contains a surprisingly large selection of shops. Most of the main chain retailers are present. The mall itself is well layed out, tidy and clean. Just off the northern end of Main St in Upper Hutt the location is convenient and easy to find. Good place for a shopping trip.

This is a nice little mall for locals, but is not worth driving anywhere further than Lower Hutt to come to. Layout isn't great and the shops are lacking in their layout and entry/exits. It leaves a lot to be desired.

It's a nice place to visit, enjoying the shopping experience, handy to rail and bus, the toilet facilities are clean and tidy, a nice relaxing place to share a coffee or meal, other businesses nearby compliment the Mall, it's bright and fresh and easy to get round

I wish we didn't need a mall in Upper Hutt as there is very little need for shopping when you can get anything you want online but I do accept there are some people who do enjoy having such a facility. The most annoying thing about the mall is that I'm never allowed to get a Wendy's since my wife thinks it's an abomination

For a small place it's surprisingly hard to navigate. They removed one of the downward escalators to put a new shop in so you have to take the lift down or walk to the other end of the mall. The lift is slower than a pensioner's stair lift; even the doors are hand wound by an asthmatic mouse. Don't believe me? Give it a try. Take plenty of water and a camping stove with you - I hope you're not in a rush. Since the doors are made of glass people can watch you grow old while you descend a single floor slower than it would take to build a new staircase using your own hair and some PVA glue.

The layout of The Mall ground floor is poor with blank cheap walls separating a central retail shop. The cheap separations distract shoppers from the ground floor shopping experience. Mall access from the car park is not safe for families, children or old people.

Under cover parking, a handful of useful shops like Farmers and The Warehouse means you can pop in anytime and grab something you need. As far as spending hours here shopping, you may be disappointed.
