Nothing of real interest. Just another bland mall with outlets and food for people with more money than brains. Toilets are relatively well kept. Turning into a bit of a ghost town with stores throughout being vacant, but we can chalk that up to covid.

The Food Court is my major place of interest at the Mall. You will need to be masked and have your vacation certificate handy.

Super up to date technology advance shopping mall. Can't say I never get tired of the innovation and advancements in shopping. I almost feel like this mall should be a lightning rod for other malls around the world. On real note it's a good local mall with good access and a good place to take the grandkids or kids to waste an hour or so.

Smallish aging suburban shopping mall, shops here feel somewhat basic, no obvious higher end shops. A number of vacant tenancies, so it feels a bit quiet too. There is a small but well served food court, with something for everyone. Bonus is that parking usually isn't too difficult here. There's a Countdown supermarket attached.

Limited choices has been the same for many years, just feels same ol same ol, which can be exactly what you're after at times. The shops inside all offer great service and range just.... Does anything new ever happen here?

There are no more walk in doses of covid vaccine available at Johnsonville Mall vaccination centre. Appointment only. 5/2/22. Enjoyed Good food at the food court. The chicken kebabs are the best! This place is great especially when the weather is not playing along. Shop for clothes, groceries, games, phones, pharma and even get a massage all under one roof.

Parking is free and always seems to be available. But shops are closing down starting with McDonald's a while ago and now the jewelers. There's talk of renovations but no sign of this yet. Capital Kebabs sell my favorite dinner in the food court closely followed by St Pierre's sushi.

It's a good mall, with some useful shops, but it needs an update/refresh. Food court and toilets are good. The car park you almost need a 4x4 to get through.

SHOP LOCAL, support excellent businesses e.g. Life Pharmacy, Whitcoulls etc. Yes the mall needs upgrading we all know that but I am not one of the continual moaners. I shop there for the businesses that I want to support & for the support they have given to me.

A great shopping mall with supermarket food shops and many other shops that I wasn’t interested in and can’t remember now 😂 They have a great sushi shop and I stopped in on the jewellery shop for a browse. Shopping centre is clean and tidy and very accessible when heading north from Wellington on the motorway. Easy to get back on the motorway after you’ve been here. Lots of parking.

Tired. Needs major renovations and interesting shops. Maybe abandon the mall idea and replace with a Petone or Newtown style of shops on the street. An alternative supermarket is also needed.

Small but it is something in the heart of Johnsonville. Seriously needs abit of an upgrade, but I love the play area facility they have added into the centre where the TNT use to be. Great for when you want to sit down and eat while watching your little one have a play. Genuinely good food from most of the stores, parking is usually pretty packed most the time but nothing too bad.

Everyone in my postal code wants a new mall. The only exception locally is myself. The mall was conceived and born at the same time I was. As such every time I enter the place it's like my personal tardus, and I am the Time Lord from yesteryear.

Shops seem to be closing on a weekly basis. It's such a shame watching it go down hill. We moved to Johnsonville 13 years ago. The mall was lively and full of both shops and shoppers.

On the upside at least there is a shopping mall in Johnsonville, with good anchor eateries such as Muffin Break, Magic Wok, etc. On the downside it is getting more dilapidated and vacant compared to its heyday many years ago. It's a stroke of luck that Countdown and MacDonald's are operating close by, otherwise foot traffic could be less? The food from the eateries are comparable to those in other suburbs, ie. it is not worse, so that's a plus. And it also helps that the Mall is close to transport hubs and the main street. JSC also has more casual seating than other malls for shoppers to rest which would cater to an ageing community (as is characteristic of most of Godzone compared to "younger" countries). There's ample seating in the food-court even during peak hours so you can hold social meetups wihtout feeling cramped. Overall JSC provides a useful resource for many groups to shop and refuel under one roof, which is especially convenient in extended periods of bad weather.

As far as malls go - unfortunately this one isn't the best. There's pretty limited shopping to be had here and there are a few vacant spaces that have been there for a while. Having said that, there are some good food outlets here and it's handy having a Countdown supermarket attached to the mall

Apparently one of the very first suburban mall complexes in the country, it's faded in comparison to other shopping centres in the metropolitan area since. Desperately needs an upgrade, perhaps with an internal walkway to transport hub, picture theatre, and make more room for more popular chain stores and specialty shops by sending the parking underground. And Johnsonville is a wind tunnel at the best of times, so an enclosed outdoor public area would be a useful addition. Somewhere for community events, promotions as well as somewhere for invalids, younger children and the elderly alike to congregate in comfort. I thought there was plans afoot to upgrade Jville Mall - whatever happened to that I wonder??

Ok for lunch while working in the area... hairdresser, EB Games, $2 shops, countdown supermarket, OPSM eyewear and a few others... bit rundown and not the place it used to be 15 years ago. Bit you do get 90 minutes free parking.

Very convenient and lots of parking. Petone pac and save has covered parking, time for a rethink Johnsonville? Could do with a huge makeover, some of the shops look like they were last decorated after ww2. Yellowing paint, old carpet, old fittings, squeezing the last investment buck out, while some shops more up to date with owners that care, good on you! Has zero buzz, but it is in a quiet suburb, so just fine for grandma's suburban morning tea, or trip to the supermarket. Maybe malls are fading away, climate change?

Handy mall for getting what I want but really needs more shops if wanting to attract people to actually spend some time in the mall. Porirua and Queensgate are only 10 to 15 mins away so to have a proper brouse through a mall people go there. Far more choices for the customer.
