I am a regular at this store for good reason. My favourite person is the French lady, Mel. She LOVES the Macpac products she sells, but, more importantly, knows each product inside and out. Her knowledge of their design, material, life span, specific purpose and practical application is excellent. She speaks from experience as she uses the products she sells herself, often going off the beaten tracks that we all use and into the wilds alone. I have just bought my fourth Macpac back pack and appreciate the time she spent with me setting up and fitting the harness system, explaining the pack fabric and design plus alternative options.

I went looking for a tramping pack at Macpac today and Maelle was so helpful!! She explained every pack to me and once I had picked one I liked, she showed me every feature, how to use the various pockets and straps, tips and tricks she had learnt from her own experiences, and answered any and all questions I had. Long story short, I went home with the coolest pack ever and a new motivation to go hiking, all thanks to the lovely Maelle!
