A.One of my fave stores in NZ. Ocean Hunter provides quality spearfishing and diving equipment. Staff are friendly, and make good recommendations.

A.Great place. I love to get my husband Christmas presents here 😊 Both our wetsuits are from here (as well as lots of other spearfishing gear for my husband), and the guys are always so helpful with fittings and with advice. We drive around with their bumper sticker, haha.

Customer service wasn't that great when I had to go back to the store three times (twice because we were over charged and once as we were unhappy about the package deals we purchased as upgrades was not explained properly-guy with curly long tied hair was really helpful to solve this).
We purchased 3 package deals and another wetsuit.
Made us feel like we were in the wrong when we were entitled to getting what we were owed back and almost had to pay for a knife when we shouldn't need to as it was included in the package deal.
The guy with curly long tied hair was the only one who apologised for the inconvenience caused.
No apology or acknowledgement about the mistake or feedback given back when speaking with Oliver (Manager) and a guy who looked like the owner, Mike?
My advice is to do your own research about the deals, check 2~3 times with them, purchase online to get points etc. so that you make a well informed purchase and get your moneys worth.
However will give them a generous 3 star as they have great gear and know what they are talking about in terms of their gear and experiences. Also because of the long curly tied hair guy.
Will still be going back though.
