I.They sell different brands of sports gears On one side is the clearance and the rest of the store have a variety of exercising equipments and accessories! The shop looks the same since they open their doors many moons ago. The shoes area always looks untidy!

S. A.First time coming here to actually look for something and was very pleased with the service. The lady who helped me on Thursday was very accommodating as I was looking for the other pair of a shoe I wanted but it looked like it was the last pair. She already looked busy but still went to the back to check and also the other rows to see if she can possibly find it but no luck. I could tell she really wanted to find it as she took a long time to hopefully find it but no luck. She gave more more info too regarding other Rebel Sports branches and can check the stock if wanted. She was super helpful and grateful for her service. Thank you so much! It's service like that that ensure I return. 😊
K. Y.Went in for a pair of ski gloves today. I approached a staff who was relabelling some merchandise in the isle. She was not at all interested and was still moving back and forth between the shelf and her trolly. In the end she just said no they don’t stock them. I have visited this store a few times and have always been rather unimpressed with the lack of product knowledge in some of their staff so instead of taking her word for it, I approached a staff at the counter and was told where the gloves were which was literally 5m away from where the first staff was. I have given it 3 stars purely due to the second staff’s helpfulness.

A.Went to the manukau store for the first time. The store looked very clean and the staff were very friendly! One of the staff that helped me out was a guy named Pritesh. He looked very approachable and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. He even gave me recommendations for which products were the best to use. He was very knowledgeable and it was clear that he knew what he was doing. 10/10 would recommend the manukau store for anyone wanting a very pleasant experience.

I had called the store earlier 3 times and someone picked up the phone and hung up 3 times. Was quiet frustrating as most of the times iv come in looking for a particular item they're sold out so i was wanting to check that they had what i wanted.

The boots was $219.99 but got it for $131.99 which is fantastic. Please pass this on to the Manukau team how much I appreciate their dedication.👍
J. F.The SALES that they have are great value. But madness occurs and changing rooms look like a bomb site and stock on the shelves get messed up. Not really fair to judge the stores for lazy and ill mannered customers. But I gave 4 stars due to the lack of staff relative to the increased customer foot traffic. With the big specials they can easily realize that they will need maximum staff coverage. They were hard out on all checkouts, and trying to tidy stock and let customers in and out of changing rooms thus it was difficult to get help for my purchase. Queue at the checkout. The flipside is that I don't want them to have too many staff and then hike up the prices of the products to cover the increased wage costs. Catch 22 I guess. Really deserves a 4 and a half star.
C. H.Went here looking for a knee and ankle brace. Was approached by friendly staff member who asked for background story as to why I needed the braces. He then gave me some useful information and made some helpful recommendations, even let me open the packaging to try them on if I needed. Also the lady behind the counter was fast and helpful when making my purchase. They both made me feel comfortable and definitely made my shopping experience enjoyable.

A. B.It's a great sports store but if you are looking to save some money and still gets some great brands look in the clearance area. If you are on a tight budget then maybe not the place for shopping as they keep only the best brands in stock. But you must visit before deciding and if you are into any sport then your required gear is definitely available here.

L. T.I always enjoy a visit to Rebel Sport. I can usually spend an hour or two wandering round looking at all the clothes available. Although I must say on this visit I was very disappointed. There wasn't much selection which again is very unusual. One can only hope they restock very soon.
M. L.Not too bad. I don’t know what makes them so rebellious though. Perhaps they steal all the stuff they sell? But then they’d be called “Criminal Sport” or something, surely.
Although their staff didn’t seem like they had a clue what they were doing, they were super helpful, and said “yes” a lot. When I said things like, “perhaps you should check on that?” they were “oh yeah”, and off they popped for 5-15 minutes. 👍
I came up with a saying for them too - “No one has more sports stuff than Rebel Sport”. Quite catchy I thought.

Maybe it's due to these midseason sales, but so little football boots on display and the boxes that are there are all in disarray. It was also harder to tell in this store if there were any sales going on with these (there were) bc the signage wasn't along the shelves.
