A.I’d never been to a shoe store to get fitted properly for running shoes. I decided to train for a triathlon and managed to injure myself by wearing the wrong shoes after not running as much for a while. So I ran through what I did, my injury and what shoes worked in the past. The team were super helpful and asked lots of questions. It didn’t take long to advise on a few options with what I was looking for. In the end I got a solid pair that reduced the foot pain I was having and it gave me a huge boost in confidence to continue running like I used to. I am so thrilled with the shoes and my experience there, would highly recommend the team here and their expertise! I’ll never go anywhere else!
A.I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and the lovely shop assistant listened to what I needed and got me the shoes straight away. They also helped with the fitting of them, when I said I had to have orthotics. Definitely coming back when I've worn out the pair I bought.

R.Great shop! Very helpful staff, some good sales, and supportive of the local running community with their Thursday night RunFit Family group runs. They are a great way to meet other local runners too (as well as having pretty good odds of winning some free kit if you come regularly 😉 )

Good loyalty discounts too. They genuinely care about your experience with them and I totally recommend them if you are looking to buy shoes.

G.Finding the right running shoe is not always easy in a small country like NZ. Shoe Science has one of the best selections of road shoes and running gear, and a reasonable trail selection too. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. This would be one of the first shops I would recommend any runner looking for new gear visits.

j.This is a great place to start if you are new to the running sports. The staff are knowledgable and keen to talk about the sport - they're runners themsleves. I highly recommend them if you're after more than just trendy shoes. It's where I started with running. Foolishly my second set of shoes were bought from a trendy store who just wanted to sell me the most expensive Asics (not that there's anything wrong with Asics...), but they had no idea what they were doing...and I paid the price with lots of $$$ subsequently spent on Physio!! I went back to Shoe Science. Problem solved.
