Great shop with friendly knowledgeable staff. Completely kitted out my son for his first season of hardball cricket. I purchased a bat for him as well and the job the team at Sports First did seasoning the willow made it the best conditioned bat I’ve seen. You can go to the big stores but it’s unlikely they will offer you this level of support, care and attention. Well done!

After a terrible experience before with Fantail, i have been to this guy Manesh from Sports First. He has vast knowledge about the bats in and out. I have repaired by old bat and did a facing with a toe guard protection for my new bat as well. Any day I would strongly suggest anyone to go and avail the services. He isn't cheap in his pricing but worth for the money. Quality is the key I reckon. Completely satisfied with his work done. One suggestion is that communication was lacking as I understand the Covid times could affect their working hours so couldn't get hold of them in the middle. Giving a five star as that he can maintain his good work in the future too.

Visited the store for the first time yesterday through a friend and it was definitely worth it! Fantastic bloke runs the place who is friendly, polite and knowledgeable as well. Recommend this place for Cricket and sports lovers alike.

I have now bought 2 bats from Sports First. Fantastic product, and delivered ahead of time. I also received a much better level of service here than i have at cricket express. i felt much more respected and more time and attention to detail was given to my needs. All round a very good experience.

If you thought good, friendly old fashioned service was gone for good, then you need to pay a visit to Sports First. Whether it’s applying the grip tape to your Tennis racquet, or finding the right sized cricket bat for your child, (with even an AstroTurfed area to try it out), these guys offer a service that has sadly become all too rare. They also have a surprising range of good quality equipment for a wide range of sports and, at great price. Flag the big sporting chains and support the independents to keep good service alive. That’s my plan :)

Was looking for a cricket bat & was very happy with the big range. The knowledge of the bats was excellent as well as most of their bats where very well priced for the quality. If your looking for the Indian cricket brands like SG, MRF, SS & Stanford this guys have them all. With so much selection I ended up buying two a Chase & MRG bat. Very Happy!

Run by an absolutely dedicated and learned guy who is more than happy to take the time to help you find exactly what you need. Has a small turf out the back so you can try sticks out. Every visit is a pleasure.
