I purchased my Tiwal from Melinda just over two years ago. It has fulfilled all my expectations. Having previously sailed a Hobie Cat 16', I wanted a simpler Sailboat that did not require a trailer (and Rego), was easy to rig, fast enough to get the adrenalin flowing and also able to take my wife or daughters for a pleasant Sunday Sail. The Tiwal has addressed all these requirements. A great well made Sailboat that gets used nearly every weekend!

I purchased a Tiwal 3 from Melinda last year, so I could sail inshore locally and take my grandchildren out whilst they are still small. The boat is ideal for this purpose and is easily transportable without a trailer. Melinda was extremely helpful during the process of purchasing the boat and in replacing a broken third party electric air pump which came with the boat. The boat has proven to be lots of fun and I’ve even sailed the length of the Wallis Lake system in Forster NSW Australia - 25km over the ground. Very enjoyable!

I purchased an inflatable yacht, a Tiwal 3, from Tiwal Australia, NZ and the South Pacific. When I was inquiring about the boat, Melinda always responded quickly and helpfully. Although I live in Australia and the boat was sent from NZ, the delivery was amazingly fast. The boat itself is great, quick and easy to set up and fun to sail. Once properly inflated, it doesn't seem like an inflatable, the hull is very firm. To inflate the hull the standard pumps are a small rechargable electric pump that gets most of the air in and a big hand pump to get the pressure to the correct level. That's the hardest part of setting up but I do some pumping, set up some of the aluminium frame then pump a bit more and repeat. That way it's no problem. The framework fits together easily and intuitively. The mast also fits together from a series of short segments and fits into a sleeve in the sail. The boat sails like any other dinghy and is both nice and stable but with lively performance. If it capsizes, it is easy to right. As I said it's just fun to sail and has been a great way for me to return to sailing after years away.

Melinda from Tiwal has been friendly and consistently easy to deal with, we have had questions and she has researched answers for us which was reassuring. She has helped us solve problems in an professional and considerate manner. We now have the exact setup we wanted from the start, and we are exacting customers, so that was not an easy ask. Her enthusiasm for the Tiwals is infectious and one we now share. Would unreservedly recommend her to others like the Tiwals themselves. A winning combination.

My family and I absolutely love our Tiwal boat. It is both practical and fun. I also appreciate all the wonderful support and expert guidance that Melinda has provided throughout the process too. Thank you.
