I went to the shop for my first time yesterday and got some gaiters for a great price and they are really good quality. The Lady behind the counter was really friendly and helpful. A solid experience I will definitely be going back. Cheers

My partner and I went in to buy some wet weather gear and found exactly what we wanted. The prices were good and the shop itself had so much interesting stock.The young lady that served us was very nice and helpful, so all in all a very good shopping experience.

Good range of military style gear from folding shovels to sleeping bags. Ex military cold weather hats, balaclavas etc. Well worth a visit.

Amazing customer service, they happily exchanged an item 3 times, so no worries about ordering to something to small/big etc. A pleasure to do business with.

Haven't made it there in person yet, but one day...all my purchases ($5000-over 5years or so) have been made online. The crew here do an awesome job and the service is fantastic. Ok, so news flash...I managed to get down to see Skyla and the shop/warehouse etc. Wow, it was just amazing !! I'm going to plan a second trip soon and take a little bit longer next time round. this trip, I was battling plane flights and Uber rides, so time was not on my side. Paul.(Mr 8,500).

Highly recommend this store for anyone looking for tough, rugged outdoors gear for tramping, hunting, etc. You're not going to get the latest fashion and a range of colors (as in Katmandu), but you are going to get quality, robust gear at a good price. Quality kit, at a reasonable price. They have an impressive range of packs.

Bought a pair of boots (cheaper than the big brand stores too), nice chill atmosphere , awesome good prices.. oh a watch out for the hand sanitizer think I wore some..lol

My son had been waiting for this experience. The staff were super helpful and very pleasant. If we lived here we would most definitely drop in again.

I called in here on South Canterbury Anniversary whilst I was up in Christchurch trying to get a few things done. I met Milo who went out of his way to help accommodate my needs. His customer service was exceptional, and something rarely seen these days. The website is excellent, but the in-store service is another level above. I'll be back again, thanks team!

Treasure trove for anyone looking for military memorabilia or clothing. Could have spent hours and lots of money there but managed to resist the temptation. Enjoy!

Brilliant store with a wide range of items available for all sizes and eras. I love coming back here to see what is in stock. Ive bought respirators, dummy grenades and all sorts.

Always a cool place to pick up some used hard wearing drill stuff. Lots of interesting things in here. Not everyone's cuppa but worth a look if you're outdoorsy.

Saw the signs on the lamp post and did a U turn to go find it. Formerly Kiwi disposals on Colomba Street, they still have the same great range of ex military accessories and general useful stuff. Got a Jerry can nozzle and some tent pegs but saw some pretty cool stuff I'm sure I need! I know you said you have been there for three years now, but it is nice to have found you again.

Really good goretex gear for 1/4 the price that any other retailers have. If you are heading out for an adventure don't bother with the big box stores, go here.

I have ordered a bit of stuff off these guys over the last year or two via their online shopping site. They always blow us away with the speed of their shipping (often arrive the next morning) and their products always have been true value for money .

Excellent army surplus store. Really helpful friendly staff. Wear a warm jacket. It's very cold in the winter. Hell, you can buy a great warm jacket while you are there!
