My oh my how awesome is Further Faster? I'll tell you - 5 stars. More stars to be fair. I don't live in Christchurch, so I discovered Further Faster from the great podcast Dirt Church Radio (what a jingle!), but when I needed a new PDF and a new Deck for my Kayak, Further Faster was the only place I wanted to spend my money. Buying this sort of stuff online, without trying stuff on, made me a bit apprehensive. But I dropped Further Faster a line via their website, described what I was after and my size requirements, and they researched the products and gave me excellent advice. I was so happy and confident with the advice I received that I made the purchase. The products arrived quickly, well packaged, and were exactly as they had described. They were perfect, and this was in part due to the excellent customer service. Highly recommend for people to use Further Faster for their action sports gear!

Big shout out to to the Further Faster NZ team! Had really great experience with service, products and customer approach. Excellent communication over emails. I have a specific type of feet and have a problem to find right shoes. I order one pair and it was great but it wasn't perfect. After great communication with Erin they offer to send down another pair just try as I live outside of Christchurch. Both of the parcels came overnight. Even though the second pair didn't fit me properly so I sent them back with full refund from FF. Can 100% recommend them!

Even when I find an item listed with a lower price elsewhere (which is rare), I still will buy from Further Faster because time and time again the customer service ended up saving me money and making my experience much better in the long run.

Impeccable customer service. I purchased a Ruffwear harness from them online - it didn't quite fit my dog, so I sheepishly returned for an exchange. They insisted I bring my dog in, fit the harness to him and made us feel so welcome. They have gained a lifelong customer. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We received excellent service. We never felt rushed or pushed to make a decision. It was evident that the person helping us was knowledgeable, experienced and provided good advice. The only reason I did not go for five starts was the lack of choice in tramping boots. Having said that, our timing was not great (late on Boxing day) and the fact that my daughter needed a size 44 boot which eliminated quite a few options from the start. This store will definitely see us again!

We got a roamer leash and a ruffwear harness from Further Faster for our Airedale maybe six or seven years ago. Running, ocean swimming… still like new after all this time. Perfect fit too. My husband got a Montane down and shell a few years back too. So incredibly versatile. Have done a few trips to Japan and NZ skiing since then and wouldn’t buy ‘typical’ ski clothes again - Montane is the goods. Thanks team FF! Seriously brilliant.

When it comes to outdoor gear, I would only shop here if I could. We buy a few things here that we struggle to find elsewhere – Smartwool trail running socks, Ruffwear gear for our dog, Topo & Altra shoes. They have great dehydrated food options as well, for example Radix. Wish they were open on Sundays as we’ve had to buy things at other shops when we didn’t have time to visit FF on Saturday.

I am a gear geek, love everything outdoors from tramping to whitewater kayaking. Originally from the North Island, I used to have to travel to Palmerston Norths Mountain Equipment circa 1998 to get my fix of gear and advice. Further Faster Chch places itself firmly in my go to shops and has a boss online presence. On par with Small Planet QT. The point of difference to most current gear shops in Aotearoa is its variety of European gear and whitewater gear. This beats the heavily commercialised big box retailer. Big ups to the crew.

In fact under a weeks postage to rural Australia which is kinda exceptional. The Ruffwear products are exceptional. The manufacturing quality and durability is evident. Especially for larger active dogs. If you are walking, running, tramping (love kiwi terminology) hunting or just general out doors and camping with your dogs have a look at it. Its money well spent.
