Good range. A bit like Briscoes...in that it is often on sale, but the baseline prices aren't necessarily the most competitive. Also staff have limited knowledge compared to smaller bespoke sports shops that are often specialized.

Great selection of sports gear, they also have shoes, socks, water bottles, clothes and more. They easily have sales on throughout the year for different deals. Ample parking. Sanitizer at the entrance.

Staff very good to help find me an item that was not on display in the store

Huge selection of sports Equipment. I would absolutly visit before going any where else. Also price Guarantee if they special the item you just bought for full retail is how shopping dhould be.

Great service considering how hot and busy it was the day we went to the store.

I am sure it is a good store, but they did not have baseball bats, not did they have 1kg weights. And the times I have been here, the staff have not come over to ask if they could help at all. So I have had to change my original 5 star reviews to a 3 star, after my last visits. Too bad really, customer service is very important

I'm not a sports person and this was only the second time I have been in the shop. I went to buy a hiking pole and the staff that looked after me were very helpful showing me where to find them. There was only one style in stock and I know there are many, but it was suitable for me so I was in and out in 10 minutes. Its a huge shop, very tidy and parking at the door.

Just a awesome shop with very professional and polite staff and a wonder land of goodies.

Massive range of stuff. As a bloke, there aren't many stores I've spent over an hour in but this was one of them. I understand they probably don't sell often but it would be great to see more than one style of weightlifting shoe in stock. Have had to order a pair online from Reebok directly and what a nightmare that has been.

Staff very helpful, and friendly. Show them the shoes picture, as we couldn't find the item anywhere, and they found it for us bring it from warehouse. Thanks guys

Omar at Rebel Sports Colombo street is very good at knowing what the customer needs and goes the extra mile every time. Very nice to deal with. Have come back several times and bought 20 pairs since last year, since he has been so helpful. Definitely a Keeper !

Was ok, bit messy with products. Not really a good flow though the store.

Can't beat a rebel shop. Good selection, just missing short sleeve skins. The L-XL range must be popular in training pants because the popular pant especially black are usually harder to find.

Huge store and spaced out well, Excellent customer service the lady at the checkout was very polite and friendly they help me find what i was looking for, which made the process very smooth and welcoming. definitely some bargains to be found here during sales.

I usually feel a little inadequate in a sports store as the staff sometimes look at you as if you were a lumpy potato. However, not here! The lovely young woman I spoke to was full of advice and was very kind and personable. Made me feel comfortable enough to want to purchase something! Good service is all it takes!

Masses of sporting goods and clothing, shoes and accessories. Can be tough to find an exact item but great for browsing especially when sales are on. Staff seem to have become more numerous and helpful lately too. Good job and keep it up! Pretty much all the big brands are here.

Just another retail shop. Had what I wanted decent price

The country has just moved to level 2, i’m still apprehensive to go out. I’ve had the worst day... But my dance studio is open too! And it requires me to bring my own gear. Well, the place had been cleaned out. I managed to nab a mat and some resistance bands. But alas! No blocks! I get to the counter, I ask dear old Casper if he could “look in the back”, expecting to be politely declined. But he went out of his way to for me and found me 2 yoga blocks that i am now the proud owner of. Thank you, Casper, for making my horrible day that little bit easier. It was appreciated.

Great store, great selection, but disappointed to get all way home and clothing still had security tags on..... Back in the car. Not so bad if you only up the road but bit of a nuisance if you're not.

Happened to pop in on a day when rebel sport was having a shoe sale. Brought a grouse pair of men's new balance shoes for $89 down from $149... Nice saving! Also brought an under armour flexi fit cap that was also pretty well priced $34. Full money back on returns if have receipt... Great service & selection but overall Rebel sport is pretty expensive considering you are only really paying for a label... Probably made in China..

Good sales experience from male staff member. One female staff member was talking on the phone and while I waited fornher to be free ahe walkes away on me. Made me feel she was not really interested.

Good range of products, I'd just like to see the staff actually indulge in come customer service by helping, particularly when folk are trying on shoes.

This place freaks me out! It's full of good looking gym junkies. 😀 That said, an awesome range of great gear and pretty good service. Price is getting up there, but worth it if you want quality.

Bought my 2nd pair of New Balance Shoes Today..most comfortable shoes ever.

Good stock and ok prices, just a bit disorganised. Eg I just decided not to buy 2 different things while in the shop cos there were no prices on them, no handy staff and a long Q.

Very helpful staff helping me with a Garmin watch that I wanted. Rebel Riccarton helped locate the watch and said Colombo Street had 2 on stock. Wrapt

It's a gigantic sport store with all the sports equipment you could ever need. Most sport equipment is sold there. From swimming, to running, they are the go to store.

Your typical Rebels with all you would expect. There was a very good clearance section when we visited with some great specials. The staff were attentive and friendly.

I like this rebel sport they always have good deals but I have to say that Riccarton Rebel is by far the better store they seem to have a better selection and usually have a better selection of shoe sizes. We are always shopping at Rebel just a great franchise.

By this I mean if you're a double XXL you can probably get something. I'm a 4 or 5 XL, maybe up north they have bigger sizes. But here in CHCH, forget it, it's a joke.

I often visit this store and walk out with nothing due to the lack of stock - fishing gear, sporting goods and footwear.

The most complete Rebel Sport you will find in Christchurch, other stores such as the one located at The Hub Hornby, do not have 1/3 of products in comparison to this store or internet.

Fast service great range off shoes love this place

Customer service at rebel sport South City is a far cry from the service at the Riccarton store. All customers deserve respect when addressed, not orders. Clearly the team was not happy to assist customers.

Love my new Yoga mat...and while I was in store I got lots of ideas for Christmas presents..

I like the Rebel offering. Its sometimes a shambles but you can always find deal for something.

Great place for looking for sport gears and outfits. Usually on sale during weekends, staffs are very friendly and helpful.

The only problem is the new areangement of the shoes area. The old arrangement is better accotding to shoes brand and name. Its just confusing and its everywhere
