D.Excellent service. Very friendly and helpful. It is great to be able to hire equipment for the season and they will change boots at no extra cost if a child's feet grow.

C.Where do I start?!? We have been going to Snowmania for years!! The staff there are all knowledgeable and very helpful.
My kids started snowboarding since 4&5 years of age and we get all their kit from here. They are so patient with anyone and friendly to all.

K.We had season rentals. Then my wife damaged her ACL(not skiing). We had only used the skies twice, the guy at snow mania had a lot of empathy for the situation and gave a very good refund on the season rentals. Thanks, hopefully be back next season.

Fitting procedure was well managed, and then when we went to pick everything up the night prior to our skifield trip it was all ready to go...making the process totally painless.
We were able to make it back before their closing time, and the team was lovely and friendly as we returned our gear.
A very whole hearted recommendation for anybody that wants to go skiing - the very friendly hire rates make these folk real standouts!
S.Very good prices for rental gear. I hired a pair of boots, skis and a jacket. Friendly service from Fergus. Also convenient being opened until 7pm to return after the day up the mountain. Will definitely hire again!

D.The attention to the public quite good. The store is medium in size, but a bit disorganized. They do not have top material, almost everything is medium and low range. It is a store focused for beginners and medium skiers. The price is very good, quite competitive. Skis for rent expert level, are not top, but they are quite good for the value for money. In general I am happy.

We used to come to this place every year when it was run by nice people who liked their jobs. However, this year we were absolutely amazed by the bunch of young people in the shop. Worst customer service I've ever seen in Christchurch! No courtesy words or even response when you say "hi" "thank you", no suggestion, no help, no communication...the girl was so impatient when I had to ask for a second pair of boots to try. I only saw a bit of smile on her face when she was having chitchat with her workmates, but with us, she was always like annoyed. There was no other customer while no one in the shop was keen to provide a bit of basic customer service to us.
M.Great prices and customer service. I brought a pair of boots from them a couple of weeks ago and yesterday the night before I was going to use them for the first time decided they didn't fit quite right. Went back to the shop just before closing time and they stayed open to help me find the perfect pair and swap them with the ones I had brought. Had a great day on the slopes thanks to them.

A.Really friendly people. This is a real traditional snow gear shop. The rental gear is great quality, and they are open to 7pm 7 days a week. The new gear is well priced and a great selection of hardware and clothes. We've rented for the whole season for our kids, couldn't be happier.
C.These people were so helpful and an all round great setup. It was a very smooth and efficient process. Being able to pick up the gear the night before and drop it back the day after skiing just made the whole trip hassle free - especially with two little kids in tow.

J.Best rental for miles around as far as skiing goes great alternative to buying new gear untill U know your level. excellent pricing and staff that are enthusiastic about skiing and boarding not profits. I credit snowmania staff in sharing the passion for the sport with me and spending 20+ days on mt hutt in my first season that I started half way thru btw.
J.Friendly staff and great prices. Probably the best ski shop in Christchurch. They usually have dogs you can pet too! I keep taking my skis back here for edging as they are really good. I would highly recommend this ski shop
B.Five stars. I can't recommend these guys enough, the prices on their used boards are definitely competitive with the likes of facebook and trademe and after feeling frustrated trying to find simple things such pants and gloves via private sales i bit the bullet and it ended up being well worth it. I do think i could have gotten somethings cheaper but not by much and i also got to choose the right gear for me and have some quality advice.
