h.All I can say is wow! Been looking at SUP's for past 8 months. Went in not long before Xmas talked to Kayleigh, who was insightful, super helpful, friendly, bubbly and energetic! All the other employees were super friendly and amazing! Came back in 2 days ago, 70/30 on one, slept on it, came in today and it was gone! Was so disappointed. Kayleigh to the rescue, made an amazing deal! If I could give more stars I would! Great deal! Great service! Great vibes! One very happy Hannah! 😊
J.Mike at Tower Junction helped us load the kayaks onto the roof racks as we're complete beginners, which was well out of his way but he was happy to help and super friendly about it. They do say Canadians are the nicest people in the world for a reason!
He helped advise what tie downs we need and how they work with the kayaks, as well as pointing out how to attach them to different parts of the car.
This sort of service is what brings people back, and as first time Torpedo7 customers, we'll definitely be back!

R.I had a tyre/brake problem with my electric scooter on a Sunday. There's not a lot of bike repair places open on a Sunday, and even those that are, there's no guarantee of being able to get same day repair.
Torpedo 7 at Tower Junction were open, and fitted my scooter into their days schedule for repair. Great knowledgeable guys in the workshop to deal with. Job was done, reasonably priced, along with with great text communication for progress and pickup. I can thoroughly recommend.
H.Went to the Tower Junction store looking for a surf board leash, Leighton helped me out and sorted me with the correct size fitted it to my board aswell. While doing so also checked over my board and made sure I was good to go! I'm completely new to surfing and his customer service and knowledge made me feel confident about getting on the water. Big Ups to Leighton, you're a legend

J.After some initial confusion we ended up with an experienced and friendly bootfitter and left happy. Better signage would help.
B.spent about 2 hours with staff going over snowboard, boot, and binding options. very knowledgeable staff that can help you make the best choice based on your interests. was able to get discounts and help with installing bindings on the boards.
B.Product affordable, however service could do with sharpening up. I asked about a board that I was looking online at and as soon as I mentioned that I would purchase it online the sales person suddenly was disinterested in helping me. Clearly they work for bonuses.
A.My experience here has been mostly positive. Sometimes when it's a bit busy it may be hard to get somebody to help but overall it's a good place to buy outdoor gear.
m.Snow department is awesome, came in for bindings because my new boots didnt fit but the woman there just adjusted my old ones and made them fit so saved me $300 and gave advice on snowboards better than other shops that just ignored me when i came in. other times i have been in and have had average service so it just depends on who you get. shout out to the snow department for not trying to screw a customer out of money and actually having time to chat and provide solid avice.
S.Bike shop- across street from main store. Staff was great! Bicycle touring so did my repairs right there on the sidewalk. A few times they loaned me the tools I needed to get the job done. Busy holiday season but the staff tried hard to get to all the customers.

G.Very hit and miss. The products are generally good, the staff are either fantastic or useless. The bike shop staff are never interested unless you chase them around the shop until they give in and ask what you want.
M.Spent thousands with t7 and havnt had any problems at all had a couple of products needing warrenty and replacement and it's been great. Snowboarding gear, bikes ,clothing, mons gear etc all great. Service has been mostly ok . But I guess it's reflected by the age of the staff front of house .the occassiinal lack of consumer rights knowledge but management are great.

Bought my son a bike after shopping around several christchurch bike shops and choose Torpedo7 because of friendly helpful staff...particually Simon who has also provided excellent aftersales service and always remembers us when we come in store. He was very knowledgable when looking for multipurpose full suspension bike. Best value for money and service check done with txt reminders and when bike was ready to be collected.

Store could be organised better. Can be quite hard to differentiate between the mens, kids and women's clothing. As the displays aren't always correct and coat hangars for men's clothes have womens sizing..ie 10-12 for men's small trousers which were in the womens section.
Would be nice too if there was a clear clearance section. Seems like clearance items are in their branded areas only. Not in one big visible spot.
Otherwise good experience staff-wise. Very friendly and helpful.

T.Great product, awesome staff. Some of the reviewers on here have this expectation that staff are experts in absolutely every sport- they aren't. Take the time to ask for help and get the right person to help you. Be prepared to wait a bit during sale period.

Got both :-) They even switched front and back breaks to fit european behaviour and helped me out with some spare cardboard to help avoiding a potential mess in the rental car.
D.Overall good. Found the cycling section great, still the general section has a limited supply/variety. Very focused on a few sports, but couldnt find something as simple as swimming goggles.

M.The bike service team I dealt with in the Christchurch tower junction store are fantastic. Jack was the mechanic that worked on my mtn bike - he went above and beyond to fix a very niggly gearing issue that had another bike shop stumped. Really pleasant to deal with, patient and gave heaps of advice.
