Exceptional service at Bivouac Dunedin. Spoke with Brian (or Bryan) over the phone and he had some sound advice for what I was wanting to do. Even was able to change my order at the last minute,, to something more suitable for my needs. The store is stocked with all the gears you'll need for your outdoor adventures. Easy to navigate and excellent in-store customer service. Will definitely be returning in the near future!

Certainly has it all when it comes to h outdoors, not a huge store but who needs one when you have everything and will get it if not worth look for what You want.

I couldn't rate this store highly enough, they have such great, knowledgeable and friendly staff to help you with anything you need. Bryan in particular from Bivouac Dunedin was so lovely to deal with. He spent about an hour each time I came into the store to help me find a hiking pack and to fit/size it perfectly to my body. You can tell that the staff are really passionate and know what they are talking about. If you need any help or advice I would highly recommend speaking with Bryan or anyone in the store! :)

Always have a fantastic experience here. Staff are great and would rather get you into the right gear, rather than just trying to make a sale. Pricing can be a little steep (on some items) compared to other outdoor retailers but the service easily makes up for it.

Awesome knowledgeable staff. They know alot of info about there products. Went around Dunedin to most outdoor equipment shops and Bivouac came out on top in terms of customer service and range of quality products. Highly recommend

I am very pleased that I went into this shop to buy my hiking shoes. Jonathan was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. There was no problem at all trying a lot of shoes and choosing the best one that suited my needs. Compared to the first shop I went to, Bivouac Outdoor is superior in customer service and range of outdoor goods. I am very happy with my purchase and would go back to shop with them. I parked at the Meridian Mall which is only a block away and cost nothing for 2 hours parking. 5 STARS for this shop.

Great store. Consistent and quite well assorted. Good staff. Friendly and very knowledgeable. Definitely a serious place to go to have a proper discussion or introduction to equipment. They also have a reasonable clearance department. My go to outdoors shop in Dunedin.

Went in looking for a tramping bag and was help by one of their staff members. He was very friendly, took his time to explain my options, and assured the pack was a good fit for me. When it was time to check out they told me the pack I wanted was out of stock in the color I was looking for but he said he would try to get one in as soon as possible and was able to do it in two days which worked perfectly! Highly recommend checking them out although it is pricey, you get good quality gear!

Probably the best customer service and care I've ever had in a shop. Extremely helpful and patient with boot fitting, and ultimately let me return some boots that didn't quite feel right after wearing them around home with no fuss at all. Every single item I've been interested in, there's always been someone who has either used it or at least played around with it in the shop. All the staff actually go outdoors! And they refuse to stock junk unlike a lot of their competitors with in-house brands. Staff are attentive, the only time I've had to wait is when they were being thorough with another customer which you can't really fault them for. Six out of five stars.

Amazing service and a decent range of products! The staff really seem to love their jobs and have excellent product knowledge. It's great to be able to buy gear from people who are not only selling it but out there using it as well. Super store, I'd definitely recommend to fellow outdoor enthusiasts.

Very helpful source for outdoor kit and advice. My Osprey pack was unrepairable so they facilitated a new replacement! Even though they made no money out of the swap, Graham and Brian and all the staff were patient and understanding to help my wife and I pick out a new bag. They have class. And are exceptionally nice at the same time!

Great store, and great service from Naman! Helped me to get my jacket to Queenstown in no time, had to return it for sizing and he got everything sorted for me, in 2018 it's an amazing service. Would recommend.

One of the only outdoor stores in Dunedin, the only one of which sells climbing gear. The range of gear they sell is huge and you can get stuff sent down for the other's stores also. They sell brands you cant find elsewhere like Kuhl, Arc'teryx, Outdoor Research, Black Diamond ect. The staff are all very knowledgeable and they can help you with any question you might have. They are super friendly and have the knowledge from experience. Best outdoor shop in Dunedin. Only thing is once you start buying you can never stop going back and looking.
