My Kathmandu boots and NGX jacket had faults early on, and I am very happy to have learnt of Macpacs reputation for superior gear (word of mouth, not from the store!).

M.Macpac is a very good brand， I spend around $1,000.00 per year there, depending on what needs replacing. My last purchase was a Jacket for alpine conditions, I got it during a 40% off sale and it cost $199. That is reasonable when comparing to Kathmandu who were having a 30% off sale，the same type of jacket would have cost $439.
