I had the pleasure of dealing with Blair (Saturday 24th February) who was so helpful in setting me up for soft bait fishing. With my very limited knowledge with fishing he went over and above explaining many options. It was obvious he was busy dealing with a package at the time that he stopped what he was doing to help. It seemed I took up alot of his time but I was ever grateful for his advice and direction and showing me how to join two nylons together. I have yet to try out my purchases but very keen to do so. First off the staff are fantastic. The staff person who helped me really knew their stuff. The manager on the other hand was extremely mean towards his staff and he grilled them for not noticing me the second I walked in. Even though the staff would need x-ray vision to see me from the location they were at. It honestly made me feel Ill to my stomach how the manager talked to the staff person. Looking back now, I really wish I would have said something. Again, fantastic staff, but the manger needs to learn some basic management skills.

The only place I go for my hunting and fishing supplies, stores packed with all the latest and greatest gear, well priced bait, tackle and the service is second to none! They may even share some local hot fishing spots but i am not giving anything away. Hunting and Fishing, Get in There!

Great stuff, awesome team members. Hunting, fishing, camping and many outdoor lifestyle attire and equipment (include water sports). Mixed age clothing (limited footwear) for all seasons available - with emphasis on cooler and or rougher/tougher outdoor adventures. Easy access with some adjacent off-street parking. Very full store made moving about a bit challenging at times. Help needed to inspect some wares (guns related material) and above-height products. Each team member dealt with was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Glad we made the trip in.

Coming from Auckland to here to quickly grab some bait and salt ice the staff was excellent 👌 the customer service from the moment I walked in to leaving was absolutely outstanding.

Purchased a 20 gauge shotgun from here , went out hunting twice , found more than half the shots where duds, assumed it was just the ammo and returned and bought different ammo, same again, took the gun back to hunting and fishing and requested a replacement , they told me they would need the gun to investigate the issue, they had it for 7 days replaced a bunch of parts said it fired 7 out of 8 shots and to see how it goes, while telling me how lucky I was to not be charged I requested compensation or replacement ammo which I had assumed was duds which they declined, I view this as very poor service, as from my point of view , I bought a defective gun , planned and went on two hunts which where a waste of time , put 4 boxes of ammo through the gun and half didn't fire , then with my own time and gas drive in drop the gun off , return 3 days later to be told it will be another 4 days and finally returned , DISGUSTED with the level of service Most hunting and fishing shops I've used in the past have been good, but I would keep your receipts or stay away from this one Followup I've adjusted from one star to 3, second time returning the rifle and a strained discussion hunting and fishing replaced it with another from the shelf and supplied a box of ammo on top for the muck around.
