Really good selection and pricing. Staff are great, especially with the kids and getting their gear organised. Particularly went well in finding spare sprigs for kids boots when they play so hard that the sprigs have come out. You need to pick your moments to come to the store as it often is either really busy or the stock hasn't been replenished yet.

Well, compared to other Rebel Sport I have seen in this country, definitely looks better and well filled... but it's nothing compared to any Decathlon...

Great selection and good gear, but it's pretty unorganized, finding anything is difficult. Visited on a fairly quiet midweek day and the staff were too busy chatting amongst themselves rather than offering to help.

Excellent range of sports goods and apparel in the large spacious store. Prices are reasonable, especially when one of their frequent sales are on. The only Rebel Sports left in the Hutt Valley, so it is a fair distance from Upper Hutt, but it's worth it as they will most probably have what you need (so not a wasted trip).

Mixed reviews, store was not busy at the time. Approached Jonny, had absolutely no interest in helping me, just handed me a tape measure. I tried to ask questions , but felt like I was not a valued customer at all, more an inconvenience. He just went back and stood behind the counter, and stood there with hands in pockets. I approached him again to ask a question regarding product, again no interest. Luckily Jay came to my rescue and was extremely helpful. She took the time to help me find the correct brace that I needed. Very attentive . Some of the staff could learn alot about customer service from her. Thank you Jay for taking the time to help me .

We got some good footwear at a discounted price, still can't get over how expensive trainers, runners, etc are here compared to London. Even the clothing doesn't equate. We think kiwis get hammered priced wise.

Felt a bit not welcome there and made a joke of because our afterpay was not bringing up a code the guy was rushing as we tried to explain then this lovely staff member saw our situation and handled us pretty fab we walked out feeling way better considering we spent over $400 in there I wish I had his name he was femininly spoken hope hes not offended just dont know how best to explain this lovely guy

Huge store with an amazing choice of sports wear!... I'm certain you can find whatever you need here! Came here on Black Friday and although a lot of the stuff was sold out, it was easy enough to get it online. I also had to return something and their process was unbelievably easy, not the mention the staff were incredibly friendly. Excellent service and would definitely come again in future.

This place is great Monday-Friday during normal business hours and the staff are friendly and helpful; but on the weekends - it's utter chaos (especially if there's a sale on) and the place is a mess. If you have to visit here on the weekend, plan to arrive at 9am to avoid the crowd. The single car park entrance/exit is shared with the Briscoes next door and it makes getting into or out of the car park slow, frustrating and potentially hazardous at busy times (my recommendation for weekend visits is that you park on the street and walk).

Great if you know what you want that does not require customer assistance. The sizing range is to a very specific market eg standard fit footwear no wide fit shoes, had to go to the counter other end of store to get store assistance.

Best place to find NFL hoodies and shirts. Can be messy inside, around shoe section but it's people helping themselves and leaving it looking untidy.

Cricket supplies here are useless, particlarly if you're looking for proper cricket balls. Bats have entry level to mid range selection, nothing high end. Most protective gear is very basic too.

Everything is expensive for what it is. Went in as a last resort to find a beach ball, couldn't find any staff that weren't at the checkout to help us. Ended up just getting a soft fabric volleyball.

I was quite disappointed when I shopped here for clothing. It was a bit of a mess and hard to find what I wanted. The stars are only for the two lovely sales women I dealt with.
