Absolutely wonderful service from the lovely Stacey, who went out of her way to procure a highly in demand model of mountain bike and secured it ahead of schedule. And to the cheerful staff who set up the bike rack for me. Torpedo 7 you are my new favourite bike shop and I am recommending you far and wide.

most of the time i do click and collect something goes wrong. i cant fault the products or he staff, the system seems to be just a bit average. not every time but most times ive done it i get a notification to say my order is ready for pick up then when i turn up only part of my order is ready and the staff look at me baffled as to why im there.

As others have said - staff not very attentive. No-one answers the phones (tried for 3 days). Bikes are good deals but good luck getting that free service any time this year.

I came into your ( porirua ) store today and got served by Taylor. She was so helpful answered all my questions had heaps of knowledge about all the snowboarding products I asked about. She was happy to help and even seemed excited for me. It was a great experience and it only was her second or third week. Definitely would come back you don’t get people that work like that often!!!

Had to return my bike purchased from the porirua store for a small issue, Todd and his team looked at it and and promptly got it fixed under warranty and gave the rest of the bike a tune up. Great knowledgeable team, friendly service. Good selection of bikes and product in store. Highly recommended.

Bought my son a bike from Lars. He was very very helpful and managed to source the bike from elsewhere in the country. He really went the extra mile and we appreciated it. When I came in to pick the bike up, Sam was a great help with the things I wanted to know. On top of being helpful, I found both Lars and Sam to be really present in the conversations I had with them; they listened well and had great banter :) both Lars and Sam are a credit to your store.

Being short staffed - as they admitted - you'd think that they would have been a lot more attentive to people in store. The guy who did help me after I asked was helpful but he was just lolling around with his mate in the bike department really killing time. I wasn't the only one looking for help. That said. Best selection of larger fittings for tramping and off road shoes in Wellington. Got what I wanted!!

Good deals, nice staff. I booked my bike in for the free safety check and it took them more than a month to get to it due to availability. After going for a ride the next day my center cap for my crankshaft came off as it wasn't tightened.

T7 Porirua is a large well located store with ample parking. The layout of the store was easy to find product and not cluttered. The staff were helpful and made good suggestions for my issue. I recommend.

Torpedo 7 Porirua seems unsure of its role and outputs as a sports store provider of so many sporting fields. The cycle shop area is the largest and seems to have 1 or 2 helpfull team members. But the cycle area requires a much better layout and clearer pricing on discounted goods so the customer can compare differences to T7 online prices. My shopping experience was good last weekend, but has been interesting in the past

I have been into the Porirua store now to purchase two bikes in the past, but the service that we received from Todd in the cycle department was outstanding. He is extremely knowledgeable in this department and it's obvious that he has a passion in this field. Thank you for your assistance on the weekend.

We purchased 2 inflatable kayaks last November, when we opened them at Christmas, 1 would not stay pumped up. we returned the unit to the shop and received a replacement kayak within 2 days. Excellent treatment by staff, highly recommend, and now looking at purchasing more products from this store

We went to Torpedo 7 in Porirua to buy a new tent. We wanted to acknowledge the excellent customer service from Mady, from helping us select a tent to really giving us all the information about the various products. Thank you for an enjoyable retail experience!

Very well laid out and stocked store. I was surprised at the range of clothing and goods sold in this very large store. I was served by Holly, who happened to be busy on her mobile phone, but had the courtesy of putting this down straight away. I inquired as to whether they accepted a certain type of credit card, and she didn't know if they did but she was efficient and friendly. I was very happy with the jacket I bought, even more so as this was on sale and had 50% off the original price . When I got home I peeled the sale sticker off the price tag and the printed price on the original price tag with the bar-code stated: REG PRICE $36.87. Unsure of what the country of origin was for this price, but no-body wants to pay over $100 for something that was already discounted 50%, only to then see an amount of $36.87 on it! Still love the jacket, but was left a tad confused at the original pricing, would have felt far better had I never seen it.

Stopped in on my way through to wellington. Greeted well by a lovely lady name Adrienne her service was really good, helped me with what i needed i recommend her with anything you need :) thank you for great customer service Torpedo7 will be back again.

Don't usually shop at warehouse sized stores. Staff were very helpful, although stock not organised in sizes, we eventually worked out the coat hangers explain the sizes.

I love that this store has opened up close to where I live.
