Not just a Gunshop! Be sure to head over to the Gunshop for all your Tongariro Crossing needs as well. Having realised my gear wasn't going to 'cut it', I was after a waterproof jacket for completing the Tongariro Crossing. Dropped Wayne a line and he came up trumps with a excellent option at an end of season price. I was so stoked I also opted to grab a pack (having had second thoughts about my smaller option at home). Came away with a great deal and primo gear and a few pointers from Wayne on how best to layer up to complete the Tongariro Crossing. Couldn't have asked for better from your locals.

Great range of hunting gear, from clothing right through to firearms, bows and fishing gear. Reasonable prices and excellent service from Tony. Knowledgeable and helpful, without being pushy for a sale. Walked out with all the bits needed for an alpine tramp.
