Great pricing and huge selection of firearms. Staff very knowledgeable, honest, upfront and overall helpful with selecting the best product for yourself. I'm from out of town but would definitely make a special trip to do business there again.

For hunting fishing clothing plus relevant accessories this store is one of the best in NZ. Hunting and Fishing stores are all around NZ but only carry a limited range. I'm a hunter and target shooter, as are some family members and colleagues. Wilsons have nearly all brands and calibers one could desire. It can be compared to a child in a lolly shop. Also I have never had a warranty problem in all the years I've been dealing with them. I have had warranty issues with new and used firearms from other store's.

I needed some gear for my camping trips so I decided to pay this place a visit while I was in Whanganui. I really like how friendly and attentive the staff is. Unfortubatley, if I was visit this place again I wouldn't trust that the gentleman who helped us knows the products. Otherwise, it's a cool shop and friendly staff.

The service was excellent. Bought new tramping boots...reassured if not suitable may be returned. Will wear them inside on carpet over a day or so, but feel they will be fine.
