K.This was one of the best places to go to and we practically lived at the place every weekend and sometimes during the week like Thursday race night meetings. Great vibe, excellent buffet meals family friendly,
and many many pensioners used to flock to the bar and restaurant for a meal every Thursday and Saturdays. Constant changing of staff and management and price increases have seen a dramatic decline of customers even before covid hit. Such a shame, we rarely go there now my mate might, but only to the Tab. Your pizzas are not worth $20 geez, shocking prices on meals.. Place has gone downhill what a pity.

This is my very first time lovely watching horseracing at the same time gambling a little.
What a fun activity!
I put in $4 buying one winner ticket with one top three guessing.
I thought I lost it, luckily at the end, I got $3.1 in return, Hahaha not bad for a first timer.

Alexandra Park is amazing, from racing to the service, truly a great venue and great people who are behind the scenes.
Fabulous venue and will definitely recommend others to book and enjoy the atmosphere..

The event rooms in the building premises are well maintained and easily available for parties and events.

c.It's great for a good wholesome kiwi breakfast with a twist. Great coffee and staff. Close to Cornwall Park if you want to walk off the bulge afterwards.

Many activities are held hear - private, corporate, schools and so on. Easy access, multiple potential access points. Modern facilities - clean, well suited for small and very large events. Plenty of off-street parking (often for a small fee).
Catering/dining function dependent (in-house, or privately organised).

A.Great food on race nights and lots of boos for the TAB and Pokies. Kids love watching the horses and jockeys too. Won a tonne of money here to spend on cocaine and girls.
K.A nice place to visit. Not a huge amount of parking though. Several eateries on site. Accessible for disabled. Lifts inside.
C.Went for my sister's work function, the food was amazing. Function room was nice and spacious. Table settings could have been better. The staff were friendly. I wish there was a designated smokers area with seating though. We had to go all the way downstairs, to the front and there wasn't anything to sit on.

N.Excellent place to meet in numbers. Good selection of food, huge spacious eating area, sports playing on big screens. Fantastic lunch venue when you're on the road and want a decent feed at mate's rates.
S.My favourite place to go on Fridays, to watch and bet on trots, have a beer and some food. Lovely ambience.
A.We enjoyed the races, but found both the indoor and outdoor seating areas difficult to find and not ideal for viewing the races. When the gates opened, however, all was forgotten in the excitement. It was a lovely Friday evening race card. The employees were knowledgeable and friendly.
P.Great place. I go here for my exams. I remember the first time coming here I was shook. Living in Onehunga for five years and never have I ever been to Alexandra Park and see what the place has to offer. I would definitely be going there back again.

The blues and all blacks practice here during the week.
The function rooms are still good for private functions conferences school balls launching of new products.
D.Went for christmas do there. The room we were in was very hot, just as well we could hang outside to watch the races. Good night out. But not a place if you wanted dancing to be part of the night, as you have to head to another bar downstairs to do so
J.Incredible range of dishes, quite busy so had to line up for a table, the wait was about 45 minutes on a Saturday morning. A little pricy (paid about 160 for a table of four), but quick service with many people walking around with food trays

S.Staff are always friendly and obliging. Nothing is a problem. If you have a big group with kids they can run around like crazy and no one bats an eyelid. Food is good and portions are large.
M.I only tried the large Chinese yum char restaurant. Very popular and provides a steady supply of varied food. Study the pictorial menu, so you know what to order. Better than taking things from the constantly circulating food trolleys.

P.Been here a few times over the years. Great venue for group events. Staff were ok but it could have been better. Not a good look when you don't smile considering how many of us were onsite.
M.Gave it 3 stars as the venue was large and nice enough for the event however shared platters were below standard. Fish bites did not taste fresh were rubbery and hard. The mini spring rolls were average. Drumsticks were dry.

0.I attended the Chinese Yum Char on the 17.12.2017 with a friend. Unfortunately, if your not in here by 10.30am, you and your group will be hard pushed to get seating as it fills up very quickly. Cost for 2ppl. $60.00
Also around 3 weeks ago I was lucky enough to attend the last night trots held at Alexandra Park. While the group went to make their millions I went and had dinner at the sports bar. It was a buffet style meal which was extremely filling. To top it off the desert was nice and tasty. The coffee was an extra cost. Cost pp. $20.00
W.Very pleasant, staff very friendly and helpful. Always clean and tidy. Even though it is Covid 19 everyone obeyed the rules and had fun.

K.We were privileged to be invited to NZLTU 20th Anniversary. The venue was absolutely excellent. But the occasion even better. NZ can be very very thankful for those who advocated so tirelessly for transplants to be done IN New Zealand rather than overseas. I for one, say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
b.Was at Alexandra park for work rather than pleasure. This place would probably be good when there is racing on, if you are into that sort of thing.
The areas around Alexandra park include One Tree Hill and Cornwall park both of which have plenty of things to do for the family. Manukau Road has a lot of restaurants and cafes.
L.Trotting is a great night out. I'd never been before. The programme booklet is well organized and staff are friendly. Excellent food. Would go again.
P.Alexandra Park is so cool and from a punters point of view it's the best established TAB in NZ. The food is great with restaurants; the beverages are reasonablly priced; and has a multi culture environment that is subtle and refreshing. Check it out if you don't believe me....
A.Have used the Alex Bar and grill for many group reunions up to 55 people. Good prices for food and drink. Pleasant outlook on a summer evening. Recommended.
D.Alexandra Park is the best sports stadium in the world. The food is always good and the horse races are astonishing. Every single time I come here to gamble I always enjoy it. I recommend this park.
N.We got yum cha here and it was a very cool experience. The food carts came around very quickly and the food was tasty!! It was my first time doing yum cha and it was really fun.

A.We came here for the race, we've been going to the Alex Bar and Eatery for betting and a glass of beer, as well as some snacks. But we found the foods here is good value for money and quite delicious.

P.Interdoms final. Got kicked out of empty seats in public stand because we were near a paid buffet area! I think they were worried I was after a free feed....comically unfriend ly. No wonder they cannot draw a crowd.

I.Bar; restaurant; pokey machines. Pleasant atmosphere. Seemed to be good facilities throughout. I wasn't lucky on the horses but that didn't distract from having a good time
J.Little shop down by where the horses come on to track is amazing. Best money for value for fish chips and salad meal 10/10 would go back
Y.One of the best yum cha out there. Make sure you reach there before 11 or you got to wait for 40 min at least. Doesn't take booking for less than 10 people
M.I attended Cirque Du Soleil at Alexandra Park last night. Many cars in parking with hundreds of people. Easy to find way around. Seamless services to and fro. Circ Du Soleil..Every Act was a class act. Recommended....
