Reviews of Birkenhead Skateboard Park
G.Great skate park right next to free pools and leisure centre.
New rebuild with new bowl at the back up on a raise that has a small quarter pipe all the way along the back fence of the raise, the raise then rolls into the rest of the park with more advanced boxes, gaps and rails to the left and more beginners set up on the right.
Also a great pump track further out back behind the pool and obstacle course just follow the driveway at front entrance to the park and leisure centre to the end of the driveway by the war memorial reserve.
H.very little street elements however, for flat land, park and bowl riders... there is a great arrangement of ramps, ledges, even a bowl!
G.The best park in Auckland that I've ridden yet. Perfect balance between beginner to advanced, with low->high boxes and mini->medium->large ramps and bowls. Tons of space and great flow between it all. Water fountain here and plenty of parking. Bikes and all come too
A.Great public facility. Best to go earlier in the morning if you have young kids as it gets busy on nice days.

A.Pretty cool little skate park. All concrete with a bowl. Good for all skill levels and doesn't get too busy if you go early.
S.Awesome park. Good atmosphere when the skate lessons are on.
J.Good to see places like this still around good for vert and and street also has a bowl im more into the bowl riding myself also lots.of activitys for the kids
