F.It was a beautiful day today at Foxton Beach Wharf. We enjoyed using the public BBQ, we had steak, eggs and sausages. All up it is a great family spot for people on a budget like myself 😂
M.Real good up river & good launching ramp nice day out water skiing
H.too many intoxicated people in the restaurant, management should do something about it for visitors to the club who want a quiet meal
m.Stopped overnight in our motorhome lovely walks, did not use the bar ,great baroque area very tidy

S.Being from out of town the club was suggested to us by a neighbour (Peter). Thought it might be a good place to meet the locals, have a beer and meal. Peter was bang on the money. The value for money for meals on a Friday and Saturday Night is unbelievable and most nights it hard to finish. The Err and wines are very well priced. Good meals for the kids too and the ice cream sundae’s or ice cones go down a treat. Good old fashioned placed with good atmosphere and good town spirit. Have joined the club and never regretted it. Thanks Peter!
F.Friendly and great food there and even a friendly seal. Great seeing a spoonbill working the shore line too.
J.Nice quite place to stay.until the early bird fisherman start.haha.good on them.fun as we use to do.and the fire alarm in town went off at 6.30.All good that's part of moterhomeing. Haha

B.Have provided dedicated motorhome parks for self contained vehicles...wind can blow tho..but on a good day...paradise.
D.4 stars. It's not perfect but the area is quite practical. It has all the basics for you to enjoy the river.. a warf to fish off a ramp for the boats a club for the families and hosts. I bring the dogs down for a run around while the line is out. Can get rough with all the snags going threw and strong currents on those edgy days. Still.. love the opportunity there. Two thumbs up 👍👍

P.I had no idea we were at a boat club! We went to see Michael Hill's $35-Million "BEAST". A 45 Metre long Catamaran with Three Decks, and a weird WW-1 Style Kriegsmarine Kamoflag of Dark Grey Zig Zags on Light Grey. Very unusual!
HUGE BOAT! Filling up with 60, 000 Litres of Diesel is going to be Very Expensive!
M.Buy your fish and chips at Mr Grumpy , excellent fish always fresh, staff are great too. Then sit and look at the veiw, or watch families fishing, ' Perfic'
P.I'm A local to Manawatu Marine boating club Which is in Foxton Beach on the Manawatu River with a wharf and large boat ramp great fishing and whitebaiting even has resident seals
O.Fish was great and huge size too, pasta salad was also really good
