Enjoyed a stop over at Pleasant Valley in our motorhome, close to Geraldine so an ideal stop-over, lovely large site - plenty of flat parking in the 'village hall carpark' Location made more special by meeting a few locals & hearing more about the area - once the heart of Geraldine - ponies for Riding for the Disabled graze the school fields by the small school now used for a playgroup & community activities - pizza nights! Bruce showed us inside the village hall - fabulous flooring, recently upgraded ladies toilets. Active community - table tennis club, etc visitors can join in. Check out their we site. Visited the little church just down the road - one of the oldest in NZ. Stayed as an NZ motor caravan assn.
