R.This is a great place to stop on the way to inland Canterbury. Less that 2 hours easy drive from Christchurch, conveniently close to Geraldine and well off the main road so it's blissfully quiet. There's loads of space for kids and dogs to play. The simple facilities are well looked after by the local community that asks for a donation and certainly deserves it.
L.Much improved since my past stays. Toilet block and surrounds are night and day compared to then. Kudos for the obvious toil of volunteers. Thank you.
R.Quiet surrounding with a lovely bush walk and garden. Would definitely recommend a stay here

N.Great spot for an overnight camp. Quiet area with great toilets and a wide open park area. A short walk to the fantastic Woodbury Cafe - dog friendly (clean water bowls, “pet parking”).

H.Great dog walking track around the domain and nextdoor cemetery. Well maintained by local volunteers.

h.A nice area for a quick stop.$10 donation other towns should follow this example. Toilets cleaned by a nice gent with his patient dog.
G.Stayed here a couple of nights. Nice quiet spot and very popular. Not too far from Geraldine.
d.Perfect place for overnight stay. Safe..Great rural and woodland area.. Clean toilets.. We happily paid the 10 donation and thanks to the community for having this facility
L.Freedom camping here as an NZMCA member. A little isolated, but all that you need, especially if on your way to Aoraki, Mt Cook.
J.Beautiful place to park up in you motorhome. Well kept grounds, a credit to the locals.
S.Hall is a great place for a wedding. Free playground for the kids and a free gas barbecue for campers. Public toilet and camping available. Only $5 per site per night

a.Kids playground, large field to run around on and bush walks make for a great place to stop on your travels to unwind and blow off some steam
