R.Was excited to come for the Abs games, but sorely disappointed with the lack of info and wheelchair access. On the night of the game I had to be carried by the gate at the gate and my friend up to flights of stairs. At the end of the game. No help was on hand and we had to ask more than 3 people how I was suppose to get out of the stadium. The staff were I'll informed and had no idea. Needs to better planning. Not everyone can walk
D.First time I've been here, went to the All Black v Fiji game, once we got to the right gate we where straight in and the toilets, food and drink stalls where all easy to get too and it's just a short walk and your in town, a good night apart from having to leave our umbrella's at the gate, it didn't rain so we didn't need them just couldn't find them anywhere.
B.Great atmosphere, a bit exposed to the rain depending where you sit, well kept grounds, good take away food trucks and public transport is sweet as🤙🤙
A.A great place for family. We went there for the rugby 7 event. There were free rides, lots of food trucks, i can see people are having a good time while the game is on, hence i took pictures very early as not so many people around yet, they were enjoying the game inside the stadium. Ou, there was free rides, 😊. Its a very good and spacious place to hold a game or an event.
M.Great experience for my first rugby match. Everything is well identified and the organisation was great. The only caveat is that the food places only takes cash and they have a cash out box but they charge you $3 NZD per transaction. The prices are average, so better bring cash
H.Always go here and its always an awesome time. Great access to the stadium with 4 gates, Seating is very easy to find. I gave 4 stars because of the Food and Drinks prices are very expensive😃
S.Went for the Chiefs vs Brumbies for Super Rugby Trans Tasman. Great performance by the team with amazing performances by Luke Jacobsen and Damian McKenzie. The stadium is immaculate. The things I love here is the bell sounds and also the occasional maori chant.
Z.Went to the HSBC 7s here and it was a great day. Have been to multiple events here ranging from concerts to rugby games and the stadium always puts on a good show. Its relatively easy to get in and out of and has a wide range of food to offer. I'd love it if they could regulate the pricing though. Basically had to sell my first born just to be able to afford some chips. All in all a good venue.
P.Always enjoy attending the stadium. Great venue and facilities. All Blacks v Fiji great game BUT what's with the ever increasing amount and volume of the music. Love music and song but it was really intrusive in last night's game. It detracted from the atmosphere as it played actually during the game . Many around us commented that they were not able to hear announcements or replacements . Let's PLEASE turn the volume down and not have it during the actual play time of the game.
H.I watched rugby for the first time in my life in waikato fmg stadium! I had a good fun! But parking is hardly to find and the toilet is smelly!
A.A big stadium. It was like a maze for me. However good to enjoy sports game. I love family zone with grass. You can leave your bike at the gate 2.
Water is between gate 3 and 2.
Family zone is also there. Probably better to get hats against sun in summer.
M.Who doesn't like fast and loud cars, was such a nice experience, enjoyed it very much and look forward to taking my son with me to these.
Such ashame the Weather wasn't great when I last visited.
* Free to watch during the week, for anyone who wants to watch them train.
J.Great stadium. Always close to the action, staff all friendly and helpful. There's nowhere better to watch rugby!
G.The event planners did a fantastic job of building an atmosphere of fun & excitement. The facilities however were from decades ago. The toilets were quite grotty. I'd hate to try & get out of the stands in the case of a fire - those access tunnels are so narrow. Also, the term ' packed in like sardines' springs to mind when it comes to the seating. Very, very cosy, with both seats & rows narrow, & hard to get in& out of. I noticed alot of people sitting forward, because they just couldn't comfortably sit back in their seats without being squashed by their neighbors. True, it was a cold night, where everyone had dressed warmly- but that's always going to be the case in winter. It was a major disturbance for someone to try to get out to go to the toilets in the middle of the game. Almost Impossible to squeeze past.

B.Watch your the All Blacks and favourite rugby team play in this Stadium, great amenities and all needed facilities are just around the vicinity.
D.Fabulous stadium to enjoy the Super Rugby. Hometown feeling of togetherness and safety. Walk or use public transport to get yourself there, parking is extremely limited which is what you'd expect. Lights and screen are surrounding no matter where you sit in the stadium.
S.Great venue - maybe a little more staff to attend to bathrooms with HUGE events.
G.Another great win for the Waikato Chiefs against the Canterbury Crusaders for the 2021 season
M.It was awesome the Waikato womans team won now there off to the finals
J.The lights beaming out over the city, the roaring of the crowd, well managed traffic around the venue, this place is awesome. Great to see other events there too. Good family atmosphere and a great place to take the kids to see some live action, and if it encourages them to get out and play themselves, all the better. As with all these types of venue, food and drink is not cheap, so come prepared.

Stadium is clean and has a friendly vibe!

G.Awesome venue for spectators where you can see all the action on field well from just about anywhere in the seating area. You feel real close to on field action in the stands. Facilities are good and people can flow in and out to these easily.
J.The stadium is pretty dope however there's a only one sort of issue I have with and that's in regards to the parking.
STARTING NOTE: A few of the houses next to the stadium allow people to rent out spaces on their lawn for cars to people who go watch the games. If any of those people read this, you guys are awesome <3
The other forms of parking are in the form of off street parking and these parking spaces can get further and further away the more people turn up.
My advice: Use Uber. At least you can drink as well haha.
4 out of 5 stars even though I don't think parking will pose much of a problem for a lot of people, but hey, it's my review :)

w.Nice place and home of the mighty Chiefs. Allways get their early as parking can be a bit of a problem. Not shy to RIP you off on drinks and cash only no efpos and security staff that search you are not friendly at all.

Found many of the catering staff quite abrupt and grumpy, dont like buying food or drink there, far too expensive and no eftpos. Coffee cart is yum coffee but the cups are so small and not that cheap. Bring cash if you want to buy something, there is cash out point but it's a 3 dollar charge.
All in all the grounds are good though.
S.Well organised entry and direction to seats. Fold-up plastic seats, comfortable and allow easy access along rows. Great view of match of Rugby home team The Chiefs.

D.Home of Hamilton rugby it is well sign posted, lots of food and refreshment vendors, helpful wardens if your not sure ??? love spending time here watching rugby games.

J.Good stadium with close viewing to the field. Food options are just ok (got the Angus Burger but it wasn't hot...could've been much better) and easy enough to find parking options nearby.
M.Always a good atmosphere. Still a huge disappointment is the fact that there is not EFTPOS. Montana catering have a huge monopoly here and don't have EFTPOS. Get with the late 20th century people and stop making us have to pay 3 bucks to get cash out so we can buy a drink of water or a bag of lollies. You can go to may other stadium in NZ and use EFTPOS

J.Great stadium for smallish city. Although I'd like to see them install some official ATMs as for major events they have extortionate prices from vendors for cash out/loading prepaid card (sometimes over $5).

But bit disappointed that none of the food stalls could take eftpos!
Before kick off I queued 10 mins to get to the front to be told no eftpos facilities then there was a 15 min wait for cash out.
At half time I waited 10 mins for cash out then about 15 mins for ice creams for the kids.
If you're not going to have eftpos then maybe have more cash out facilities.
I was surprised after the sevens was completely cashless that on a major match day none of the food stalls were taking eftpos?
Other than this great night at Chiefs v Highlanders.
A.Great view from the Perry Stand but as with all stadiums, expensive food and drinks.
B.A great stadium to watch any game in. Would get 5 stars if the beer and food options available got better, be much more enjoyable if it wasn't just Waikato Draught and a punnet of chips.

K.I didn't go here when this post suggests. Must have parked next to it for a time while texting or something BUT I regularly take my daughter to home chiefs games and when the warriors show up. This is one of my favorite things to do with my little lady.

J.For viewing sporting action it is 2nd to no other. The ground conditions appear to always be excellent. Never seem any area muddy up or an area they have to shift from.
Not being a large ground gives advantageous for patrons arriving or leaving the ground.

W.Ideally situated Rugby Stadium - home of the Chiefs Super Rugby team and also Waikato (Provincial team) Shortish dander from the centre of Hamilton and well resourced on match days/nights.A fairly open stadium save 4 the large main Grandstand from which the teams emerge on to the 'paddock' as the locals say.The dander also takes you past Seddon Park where the NZ Test and 1 day/20/20 international teams play on a regular basis.
P.Nice stadium. Went to see Nitro Circus here and thought the parking was a bit far away. Not a lot of parking close to the venue. Home of the Waikato Chiefs rugby team during the season.
G.Easy parking options around the stadium. Food and beverage options are somewhat typical of nz rugby grounds. Usually a good atmosphere and during super rugby games plenty of extra things for the kids to do at half time and pre game

Lowered the alcohol level after 2 hours but it probably made the atmosphere better to be honest.
Tip....
Get a membership card for waikato lounge. $10 is way better than waiting 30min in line for your drinks. Same as outside but cheaper lol
