Cute cute cute! Loved our evening here, the last night of our holiday, definitely local feel, but great food and bar.

While the decor might be a little dated, the club is a lovely piece of old world NZ with views to die for. Very nice club style meals and friendly service. Visitors most welcome. Come and check out, you won't be disappointed. Kawhia is a delight! Only open on Fridays and Saturdays.

Great place, great views over the harbour , and the food was beautiful ! I had the biggest burger I have ever had , I had to deconstruct it with a knife and fork ! Food and drinks are very reasonably priced

What a magnifacent slice of nz.. We had an amazing day watching the boats.. Kids fishing... Then went to the ocean beach at low tide where you can dig yourself a hot water pool in the sand...
