This is a great place for a function. Sports bar is nice didn't really spend to much time there. The garden bar is great has a great outdoor area. Staff are nice and friendly. Food was delicious and wide range of dishes

Food was excellent. Ordered the seafood platter which 4 adults struggled to finish. Main course was steak which was cooked perfectly. Overall very happy with the food and service

Can't complain about the food taste and presentation spot on. However........went for the special brunch offer only to be told that as we had paid 10 minutes after special ended it was now full price. Had they had more than one chef cooking it may not have taken so long to eat. When we challenged the price the manager was argumentative and got stroppy with us.They did honour the special but it left a sour taste - not sure if I'll go back

Back in NZ and visiting a friend - needed a nice place to eat away from the madness of a “shopping mall” cafe. Remembered this place from working nearby over 10yrs ago and it was still as good now as it was back then. Clean, quiet and the food was an absolute hit! Try their Beef Burger & Chips - great taste, awesome value and very affordable. Definitely will be visiting before I leave NZ.

Lovely staff, friendly and welcoming, impressive restaurant menu, impressive bar selection, generally a good atmosphere. Quaint settings with lots of character. Highly recommended for dining, accommodation or a quiet after work drink. Will definitely visit again.

Staff were fantastic, a big shout out to casey for recognizing my partner who has fibromyalgia be relocated to the first level, sorry I don't have a great wrap for the manager who signed us in, wasn't welcoming at all, not helpful and we definitely won't return because of.

A great place to drink but the accommodation needs a little work. Beside lights didn't work, no milk or even a cup. Mattress sinks into the middle for a cosy snuggle. However room was very clean, tidy and nicely presented.

Had dad's birthday lunch here a few weeks ago. Your average styled hotel restaurant. Staff were nice. Food was quick to hit the table considering there were quite a few of us. Steaks were a bit dry, really needed a sauce or gravy to liven it up. Dessert was average. Banana fritters were lovely, could've done with a lil bit more though 🤔 lol Thanks again for having us 😊

Rooms are terrible and judging by the quality put me right off the idea of eating from here ... that being said, the bar is cosy and I personally found the staff to be friendly. Not a bad spot for a couple of drinks and a gamble lol. I wouldn't take a room there again however!

If you don't mind a chilled atmosphere, basic menu and aren't in a hurry then this place is perfect. I liked it, got my whiskey on the rocks and the vegetarian pasta was delicious!

Had great off street car parking facilities, and wheelchair accessible entrance. Nice indoor and outdoor seating options. Good ‘pub food’ menu. Enjoyable visit. Recommended

it felt like the bed was about to collapse. no cutlery except for plastic teaspoons. bed was comfy though and after all that is all I was looking for at midnight. got a smile a key and a tiny jug of milk on arrival so was settled for the few hours I was there 😀

The atmosphere and the staff there were very helpful and excellent to talk to the food was awesome the rooms were good the only thing was the mattress was pretty torn apart from that very nice place to stay in heaps of parking for cars vans and big RIGS
