When we arrived reception was a bit cold, but generally the service over our stay was great. All the amenities were great (loved the gym!), our family of 9 enjoyed the giant pillow and the swimming pool, our living villas were exceptional and suited & exceeded our expectations. Only downer was when we went to the restaurant we were told that there was no OJ to see it come out on another table & when we had our pudding, we had a long wait and was told that the ice cream had run out and was substituted with with half a peanut slab ice cream with our chocolate mud cake, hence why I gave 4 star instead of a higher score.

Super clean and tidy, very friendly & helpful staff. Fully what you’d expect from a Top 10 resort. Very relaxed and peaceful environment. Close to all amenities and Napier CBD and Marine Parade.

Awesome! Thank you Kennedy Park for such an amazing weekend! It was that good my son wanted to live there.🤦‍♀️🤣 Thank you to your Amazing Team for their awesome service from Reception to house keeping and the groundsmen. Definitely coming back again next year thank you❤. Room 105!

Facilities were super tidy and user friendly. The room was all we need for the night and after a team talk with the family we decided to stay on another night. Nice peaceful sleep on some good old fashion clean sheets and some comfy pillows. Kids woke up first as usual, and the handy TV kept them at bay for another half hour. Got up, used the toaster and jug which was in the room. Too easy. Left the family to have breakfast in the room watching TV while I went to pay for another night. To my surprise the room price jumped from $120.90 ($1.90 booking fee) to $130 for the second mid week night. When I asked how the price jumped an extra $10 the lady at the counter told me “ it is what it is” “the rates go up with how many are staying. More people in the camp, the rates go up.” In this period of time when travel movements are few and fair between, and my family were going to be putting money into the local businesses the council owned camp gets greedy. Real shame cause other wise great place for the kids.

Clean and well kept. the welcome was a bit like being admitted to a rehab or similar institution. The whole 'conversation' lacked personality and welcoming. Read out the rules - same as all the other camps. Not at all welcoming and rather rude imo. Noisy road traffic all night. extremely expensive for one person with a tent = $56 and nothing extra from other camps which also inc wifi and showers. Can't see where any added value is for the money. Maybe calling yourself a resort means you can charge more than twice the usual rate. I would've gone elsewhere but it was getting dark.

Wonderful reception staff. Had to cancel part of my family's Christmas booking. Full refund (minus minimal fee) returned promptly back to my account. What was an upsetting and disappointing situation for me was eased enormously by the staff member who quickly processed without hassle my request. My thanks. Definitely a 11 out of 10.

Was great to have some where for campers that feels like luxury and someone always at reception 24/7 is reassuring. Was lovely having a bathroom that wasn't covered in signs. Shower was only 30secs long so pushing that got repetitive. We were in a bus arrived after 8 and only there for 1 night found the price steep for our usage. Was also put in odd part for a bus. Also on way in and way out we had to wait about 10mins as people decided to park at the barriers and go into reception.

We call for a room really late at night and despite that, the guy that did our check in was really nice. The room was clean and big enough for 2. The bed was really comfy and tidy. Thanks guys!

The resort was OK not very much to do as I thought. And the only designated place to smoke a vape was rite infront of the resort. So having to walk rite through the park to vape was not cool

Great place to stay, handy to amenities. Clean and roomy. We had 2 separate bedroom with a kitchenette which was handy for our stay. Grounds are well maintained. Very reasonable price for a longer stay. Would happily return.

Clean, well-maintained camp site with excellent facilities, but for me, a bit in no man’s land in terms of location. We needed to Uber into Napier, whereas the Top10 in Gisborne was at the beach, 5?mins to the town centre.

Awesomeness place for families 💯🔥 pools, restaurant and many more things to do. Close to the beach and supermarkets. Definitely booking again 💯% .photos to come!

Was an awesome stay thankyou feel very greatful, it was safe, clean and the shower was amazing. The venue is always full of love & laughter with the cool activities for all the kids, every kiwi child should get to experience it. 😊 Thankyou for the 24hr reception too that is very awesome to know.

One of the most beautiful holiday parks in NZ, staff are amazing, facilities modern, grounds are big. Plenty of toilets/showers...and laundry facilities. Kitchen is big and dining room is just lovely....plenty of space for people to work together...and left over food can be shared to others. Heated pool and a toddler pool too. Prices are reasonable. Food in the Restaurant is really good 😍 I highly recommend this a great place to stay...in the heart of Napier and only 5 minutes from the beach...so if you are from out of town or even not far away...this is a perfect spot to chill out 👌💯%

The cleaning girls were very efficient and replaced what ever u needed and offered help when required comfortable stay

Wow bloody awesome experience. My partner and I both loved it. The restaurant was well priced a plate full of food we even left a bit not like us. Heated pool, cold pool, movie room, game's room, gym, heaps for the kids to do. Our cabin had six single beds and master bedroom with room to still swing a cat but not recommend. The staff we're awesome and the amenities we're kept spotless. We had an awesome sleep and felt safe. We're going back next time we are in Napier. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

If you are a family or with a large group, Kennedy park is perfect for you. If you are looking for somewhere quiet, Kennedy park is not for you. The facilities are amazing, clean and well cared for, however we were placed in amongst clearly a large group from an extended family who were not very considerate to the noise they were making. The walls are thin, you could hear loud conversations clearly and their kids really loved to jump down from the top bunk into the floor. Even after directly requesting them to keep it down and then having to call reception after 10pm as the music was getting louder it continued. I realize this reflects more on the other guests than the park itself so it's just a tip: If you are after quiet make sure you check where they are placing you so you aren't in the middle of a big group and you should be fine

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here, garden's and lawns immaculate, the rooms are beautifully attended to. Safe for the kid's and there are a lot of Activities for them. Night time receptionist is about as friendly as a warm cup of sick. In general the staff are helpful and friendly.

Perfect safe play areas for kids, large premises. So many well kept amenities, gym, kitchen, reading room, TV room etc.. Cost is at the higher end. Looks like a well maintained housekeeping roster. During peak seasons other guests can be noisy.

As a whole we were very impressed and would definitely return. We had so much fun and wished we could stay longer. The big bouncy bag at the playground was epic and we had so much fun riding around on the bikes. The rooms were great and the kids loved their bunks. They thought having their own bed light was so cool. The queen bed was warm and comfy and the rooms were clean. Will definitely try visiting in summer next time for those longer days and bbq weather.

Great park, will definitely come and stay again. Perfect place for the kids to make new friends and adults to chill. The main ablution block was being upgraded when we stayed and was out of action but Im sure once complete it will be amazing. Hopefully it will include a nice lounge area for adults to relax while kids play. Heated pool was great for the wet days and the kids loved the bouncy pillow and arcade room. We stayed in a self contained motel unit which was adequate for our stay. An upgrade of decor would be nice

If you're a family looking for an old style camping ground, this place is great. If you're a worker looking for accommodation (like I was) its OK? Rooms are VERY small but have everything you need. A bit dated but still nice. Management was very accommodating to our needs.

All the facilities you expect from a high-end camp-ground, however, we felt the vibe was a little impersonal, was a bit overcrowded (admittedly we went at peak season), very tight access for large vehicles, and the location was too far from marine parade and the town centre if you didn't have a car to use during your stay. Therefore better for tent users than for campervans. Some will love it, but for us we'd prefer something a little more low key and personal.

First time staying at Kennedy Park as I had heard alot of good feedback from whanau and friends who had stayed here before. Brought my tribe of 5 kids and 2 adults here for the weekend. Booked into 1 of the family units that had 2 bedrooms. Queen n 1 bedroom and x2 double bunks in the other room. Nice clean unit with everything we need. The unit could do with some upgrading/modernizing but was still homely. The whole resort is well utilized. Everything you need to keep the kids entertained is here in the 1 spot. Swimming pool with heated and cold. Big playground. Large jumpy bubble thingy that was a big hit with the kids. 2 large spring less tramps. Games room. Movie room. Bikes to hire. Just awesome and what was cool was seeing all the kids playing with each other like it use to be back in the 80s when kids living down the same street would all congregate and play together. I would highly recommend this place to all families and definitely a bucket list to add if you are visiting Napier.

Extremely well equiped facility that was spotlessly clean. Stunning new kitchen and ablution block. Well organized team of staff with clear helpful directions and information. Great clean facilities friendly and efficient staff central Napier location

This is our second visit to kennedy park and we had the best stay last night in one of the Villas. Really clean, great value, really made our little get away so much better. The staff were exceptional especially upon arrival and departure. Over all 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend

Awesome place to stay! We stayed here in a caravan with kids and it was fantastic, the tent sites are huge and heaps of them are under shade so if you don’t need power for your Motorhome/caravan consider a tent site! The playground is great and has a huge jumping pillow, there is a movie theatre and games room with older style arcade games. The pools are fantastic, one of the pools starts very shallow so it’s perfect for small children. Fantastic place to stay, bathrooms and kitchens are modern and tidy. Highly recommend

A well-situated complex fairly priced for the level of the facility provided. We, unfortunately, had a medical emergency that required ambulance and hospital attention. The staff provided excellent support arranging for emergency service and caring for our child while we were otherwise indisposed. Our thanks to your staff for the compassion and assistance provided. All well now and we will return next summer.

Absolutely loveddddd and enjoyed our entire stay. Our Villa was amazing and still stoked how affordable it was to stay here. Kids loved the swimming pools the most but also very happy an excited with all the other things there were to do there. Arcades room an the Playground was super fun for them. I loved that our villa was situated right where we could see them at the park. Very clean and tidy grounds an groundsmen was very nice an helpful with our rubbish. We cant wait to come back we didnt want to leave. Highly recommend this resort to everyone. It was perfect for families as it caters to all. So many good things to say about Kennedy park resort we had the best family time ever 😍💗

Great facilities, easy to book and find with welcoming staff at front desk. Would have loved to stay longer but was only there for a tangi and this was a great facility for accommodation 4 mins drive from family and where we had the funeral service out near marae. Perfect location with affordable options. Thank you.

I loved staying at Kennedy Park Resort, it's clean and well set out. I had no problems with refunds for the bus or with changing the date of our stay after the Rod Stewart concert was cancelled. Excellent experience.

Really enjoyed the stay. The room we got was very clean and well priced. I enjoyed the easy booking through the website and i got on the family deal. Plenty of things to do and the park and really enjoyed the heated pool, also do your laundry is really cheap. Wish i could stay longer but ill definitely be back in the future when i next stay in hawkes bay😁😁

Excellent camping ground with brilliant amenities and clean grounds. Best we've been to over our 12 day campervan trip. Highly recommended 👌

We gave it a 5 rating based on the price we paid as a couple package in October. Although we were only booked as a couple, our son was with a hockey team and the pool was excellent for recovery. If we had been holidaying as a family we would still say the pool was excellent. We felt that it was a well maintained facility, with everything being very clean, and pleasant staff. We especially loved the fridge with the freezer box on top - we could fit everything with ease. Sound wise we hardly heard our neighbors and loved the wide green park-like area at the front of the unit that had lovely morning sun - a perfect breakfast spot. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends.

We always enjoy our stay at Kennedy Park it is so lovely, the mature trees and well kept grounds are so pleasing to relax and rest in. Most of the time the other residents are quiet and considerate, and often friendly. We are looking forward to the new shower block being built, and hopefully the new showers will not be just as strong! The location of the park is also very good as one can be in the center of Napier in 5 minuets. Thank you once again Happy camper.

Fantastic facilities for our family including a restaurant, sky theatre, gym, multiple swimming pools suitable for everyone, awesome playground, eco friendly, everything was in immaculate condition and always something for our children to do. We thoroughly recommend Kennedy Park for everyone this was our second stay and even extended it by two days because we loved it so much and plan on returning in the future.

Awesome camping resort With large sites. We went with a large group (16 adults 2 teens & 21 children under 10) Everyone had a great time & we all want to come back next year. Only suggestions I have is maybe having more smoking areas with in the park. (I'm not a smoker so didn't bother me) & maybe the toilets & showers could have been cleaned a little more regularly. I recommend this place to all & cant wait to come back.

Great place to stay at, especially if you have kids. Heaps for kids to enjoy, great family atmosphere. My daughter made friends with other kids quick as, and I felt safe letting her run around the park without hovering over her. Good price for what we got. We will be back 😃✋

Great holiday park. We had an older motel unit, but it was very good. Spacious, comfortable. Good shower, and a new heat pump.

Great place to stay when in Napier. $7-8 Uber into town. The park is very family orientated with the playground and pool. We stayed in the motel units they were very clean but dated.

Stayed here in March before lockdown & again in beginning of July. Overnight stay. Lovely, Warm, Clean & Safe stay in the Holiday 1 bedroom units. Lovely Service. I Love the environmental concepts eg: towels & saving water. Very good. Highly recommended. Thank you & God Bless

On the plus the facilities were very good, modern and clean. The pool and playground excellent fun. We were a little frustrated the restaurant was unable to provide takeaways, saying they were fully booked with sit-in diners - couldn't figure that one out. It's noisy! We camped at the Kennedy Rd end of the park. Big mistake! The local boy, (or girl) racers use Kennedy Road as a their very own race track! If the roar of their rotary cars, (Mazda has a lot to answer for!), or the high performance motor bikes don't wake you two or three times during the night, surely the chasing constabulary will! Of course Kennedy Park has little control over peoples bad behaviour outside. The park also had the pleasure of a KTM motorbike meeting for two days during our stay. If perchance we had nodded off, by 6.30am the whole park was rumbling and shaking with what seemed 500 bikes setting off in stages! On the serious side many of the riders had very little respect for the speed limit of 10 kmh. There were kids on site, so shame on you KTM. On the whole, kids had a ball.

I stayed in the 1 bedroom holiday unit. I like the building and the unit - nice layout and well designed with lots of natural light. The unit had everything I wanted and was clean and neat. The grounds are excellent and a pleasure to behold. Kennedy Park is close to the city center but away from the hustle and bustle - it is very serene and calm, and the well-kept grounds only amplify the effect. It gives an impression of a well run establishment and it a pleasure to be a guest at such a facility. I really enjoyed my stay.

Wow would give this place 10 stars, so welcoming, unit was lovely and clean, the bed so comfortable. So much for the kids to do, they were entertained by all the things they have on offer, so quiet at night was very peaceful place to stay, thankyou Kennedy Park

Adequate facilities. Good for children but needs monitoring of damage or reporting policy as there was also a broken bolt supposedly screwed into a bunk bed side rail that previous occupants left looking attached but when our granddaughter climb the bunk ladder it fell on her. The side rail is heavy and could have done her damage more than it did.

We have stayed with you 3 times as a family in different accommodation and absolutely love it every time. The rooms are nice and clean. I have only en counted one seemingly unhappy staff member - but we could have caught her on a bad day. The kids all have a awesome time and love the playground. We all love the heated pool especially our baby girl. It's a great place for parents we have a relaxing time while the kids are off playing. We recommend you to any one heading your way and look forward to our next stay with you.

Loved the amenities from Swimming pool, Gym, Theatre room, Gaming Lounge, to Parks & Tramps. Awesome for Large Families has camping site areas also. We were in a Bungalow. Beds were comfortable, Blankets, Linen, Towels provided, Plates, Cups, Glasses, Cutlery also, Had its own fridge & TV, WiFi slow though. Overall enjoyed our stay.

After staying with you for one night we would be very happy to recommend to other people. The room was very tidy and exactly what we needed. The park grounds were ideal for all sorts of customers. Great for camper vans, caravans etc. Plenty of room for all. Didn;t try the pool but looked amazing. Quite a quiet place.

Our rugby team had booked into different rooms, so walking around to find them, I was so impressed with everything - the pool, the trampoline area, kids playing area, just stopping to watch the children enjoying themselves, so makes me what to come back with my children. The pool area was amazing, talking to the pool cleaner, such a friendly guy, as he told us a bit about the area. Would so recommend others stay at Kennedy Park

Totally awesome place to stay, level parking with concrete pad for our camper van, very new and well speced facilities, would recommend to all especially families, so much to do.

Over all a well run facility with friendly helpful staff. The main Shower and toilet block is getting a bit dated but I believe it is to be rebuilt soon. Bigger parking pads for cabin residents needed. With todays vehicles being larger than previous the narrow parks don't allow easy access to vehicles.

We spent 1 night in the 2 storey holiday unit. Unfortunately there were elephants stomping around in the unit above us.We could hear them dragging chairs, using the bathroom.If we were going to stay longer we would have asked for a different room. So would suggest you get a single storey unit. But that's our only gripe. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. Great for kids.Our room was very clean and the beds super comfortable. Was easy to get to town. Would definitely stay again-just not in the same building

This is the first time I have been to the Park but it was a very pleasant experience. The room was exactly right for the course I ran and the food and refreshments were in very close proximity which was great. I only had 6 people for the course but they all appeared to be very comfortable with the payout and access. I think if we were to book again I might be interested in staying in some accommodation on site so will make some inquiries about that in the future.

Day time staff was friendly, night crew were really rude towards some guests.

We stayed at the resort for a final few days of the school holidays. We had a one bedroom motel unit at the far end of the resort - it was peaceful and had great access to the pool and playground. Our kids loved being able to walk straight out to the lawn to play cricket and ride bikes. The playground and the pool were firm favorites and we enjoyed several afternoons of downtime using these facilities. The resort is very well laid out and extremely well kept. There are aspects of the motel units which are a little tired and could benefit from a revamp but overall it was a fabulous get away for some family time.

Great location for families & large groups. Heaps to do here & beautiful rose garden right next door. We found our unit was very dated & could definitely do with a spring clean.

This is an excellent place to stay with the family. Excellent range of facilities on-site, the grounds are well maintained and with a heated pool and playground for the kids. The kids loved it here there was so much for them, everything is focused on the kids. Staff were very pleasant and available 24/7. Fabulous family accommodation, we stayed in a 2 bedroom villa for 3 nights, A holiday park that caters wonderfully well for every age group, we will definitely be back again.

My family stayed in the 2 bedroom villa. Very clean and spacious. The kids loved the pool and the carts to zoom around on. Awesome place to stay. Close to town. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful staff who made our entire group experience a great time. The staff were great and the food was just as good. The Motel units were clean and tidy, only issues we did have were there didn't seem to be enough power plugs in the motel unit for all our electronic charging needs. And the wifi we could not get to work at all on any of our devices reliably enough. Overall great stay, the kids loved the pedal cars and games room and the heated pool was a great way to wind down.

We love staying here. It is always clean, no rubbish. We look forward to seeing the new toilet, kitchen, laundry when completed. The 'resturant' could do with an update and the food should reflect the prices charged. We will be back 😊

Resort provided enough for kids to do in a chronic spell of wet weather. (We were meeting a son and his family from Auckland.) Great that the pool remains open through winter!

The place itself is amazing. Great for families. Awesome outdoor play area for the kids. Nice pool area with a cold and heated pool and a very small shallow pool for the little ones. Only problem is this needs to be manned as people dont listen to the rules. Theres a gym, games room. Communal bathrooms are actual good shower pressure is amazing! Very clean and tidy rooms. Great value. Only down fall was the beds queen ones mattress springs were very tired, noisy and uncomfortable. Bunks you can feel the slats through the mattresses and bunks are wobbly. Apart from that we great! We will stay again.

Hey there resort lovers loved my stay in the unit I got warm and clean olso had my first nights stay in a cabin which was cold for me but I will certainly be staying there again the staff were very helpful and friendly

The overall Park is fantastic and we will continue to camp there. We go for the soccer tournament each year with our daughter, son-in-law to support our grandson. We look forward to your new amenities block being built next year.

We love visiting each year, friendly staff, beautiful grounds and lots of things to do onsite. It's very safe for kids and very relaxing for adults. We have taken the family to Kennedy Park each year for the last 3 years - starting in the cabins (very clean and well appointed) and now in tents. Every time we have been impressed. I highly recommend this as a family holiday destination.

Overall it was very pleasant and great for children as my daughter spent a lot of time on the bouncing cushion and loved it. Our room was a great size for 3 adults and 1 child. Our only problem was we only had 2 flannels in the room for 4 people and the shampoo/conditioner was empty which was frustrating after spending day in splash planet with chlorine but after speaking to reception this was quickly rectified. Would love to book again but unfortunately on website its booked fully until end of year??? not sure if this is an error or not though.

Just arrived to the friendliest welcome (appreciated after 7 hr drive mostly in the rain). All details accurate and check in was a breeze - also reasonably priced when there is a major event this weekend. Room is far away from playground, clean, feels family friendly and lots of green space. We are here for a half iron marathon event, so as much as we love children we do need quiet to rest, and the staff seemed to instinctively know this and placed us well away from the kids spaces. Has restaurant and bar on site, playground, pool etc. Looks immaculately well kept and staff seem so proud of the place. It's only day one of a 4 night stay but I think we picked our accommodation well. Thank you Kennedy Park Resort!

We came in as a group of 30+ and had the best stay ever the staff where amazing along with the cleaners and grounds man. Our first time staying and we had a blast the communal kitchen with outside BBQ's was on point for our big group. Swimming pool and play area awesome. Would come back and stay.

Entry was good, and reception looked very professional. Spacious with food and other bits you can purchase. Like a little shop. Friendly staff and we received discount vouchers, which came in handy for the activities we had in mind. I wish we had a different room though as you could hear talking, beds and any other noise through the walls. I saw others, that will not have this issue. This made for a horrible morning when workers were up early, and also late night when others were moving around in beds. The bunks in our room were quite wobbly, but the kids still had fun. They made their beds and enjoyed sharing the room. I do suggest taking extra bedding during winter or leaving the heater on. We left the heater on, due to the bunks only having a thin blanket. I could not touch our top blanket on the main bed, as something was on it. I have a thought, and we were making jokes about it. It would cost a lot to wash bedding, but it may be nicer to have clean blankets as some people are quite disgusting. The pool was great. It was suitable for us and it was warm, which was great. If only there was a spa of some sort :-) Kids loved this and we had some great fun, and they made some camp friends. Good playground, jumping pillow and spring free tramps. Little more rules than our usual spot, but this is for safety reasons. It was popular for many kids there.. and a few adults :-) The games room has a pool table, which was a hit for us and we all enjoyed having a few games :-) We didn't have to use the communal kitchen, but did use the bathroom facility. The size was great and are not coin operated. The only downfall to the ones we used, is that they are too short. You will need to be 5 foot 4 or under to stand under and enjoy it. Little difficult for taller people. However, it is hot and okay pressure :-) They have done well to make it look nice, and there are quite a few facilities. It is a short drive to town, which was good for dinners, but there is an onsite restaurant. Overall, it is different to the one we are used to, and may be back one day, if we visit Napier for a few nights again :-)

Absolutely lovely when we stayed a few nights in our campervan. Amenities nice and close. The layout of the grounds well planned out with their own lanes. The only thing I didn't like were the public showers. Water comes out to fast

Me and my family really enjoyed staying here. We stayed for a night it was lovely clean nice rooms wonderful shower with plenty of hot water. Unfortunately we stayed in winter so didn't get to try the pools but they looked beautiful. More towels would be great a couple of extra in the room for the pool would be great. Really appreciate the fan we called reception for, it was very hot in the room (air con would be a bonus). We had a wonderful time at Kennedy Park the children had an amazing time! Really well set up especially for children! Pool was great and lots of options to do without leaving the park. Very close to town and beach as well. We will be back for sure!! Thank You!

Fun family friendly camping ground with all the amenities you need for a fun week(end) away. Super friendly staff. Cabins nice and clean, and plenty of space for tents, or good sized powered sites too!

Our family love staying here. Us adults love it because the kids are occupied all the time with minimal supervision. The kids love it because they get done independence. It’s very convenient on the pocket AND it’s very close to town. It’s clean and tidy and warm and comfortable. Although the pool temp could have gone up a couple of notches for those sore muscles on Sunday morning. 😉 or perhaps a spa pool might be an idea for the future?

Love the new reception area, and the villa was immaculate and a perfect choice for our family of 2 kids and 2 adults. The little things like shampoo and soap dispensers in the bathroom are a big help. I would definitely choose a villa again next time as it is complete with everything our family needs, the rooms are spacious, clean and tidy.

This place is great. Heaps of room and lots for kids to do. One of the best camping grounds I've stayed at. Close to everything and you can prepay for some attractions like Splash Planet. Very clean and tidy with friendly staff.

I can't wait to return to Kennedy Park Resort with my family. The facilities are fantastic and there was so much to do there that we didn't want to leave the park. The pool area is lovely, and caters to all ages. My 9 year old son loved the playground and the games room. Having the restaurant/bar on site was really handy. The grounds are so well kept, and everything has been thought of with the guest in mind! I work in the accommodation sector myself and therefore I can be quite picky. Kennedy Park gets a 10/10 from me!

As a Mum taking the kids away for a four night break, it was a great destination. The kids were happy out biking, swimming and scootering, and the cabin was perfect for us. The heated pool in winter is a godsend, and burnt a lot of energy on cold, wet days. Great to have movie hire at reception too. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay, thank you!

Main ablutions were unavailable due to building work. We had to use the smaller block which was a fair distance away. Although the powered sites had only 5 vans, we were placed right next to another motorhome, when there were dozens of other sites unoccupied. The reception staff were unfriendly and seemed disinterested in their job, unable to crack a smile. Very disappointed with our stay.

Kids had a blast even though it rained, great fun facilities for all the kids. Toilets and showers were monitored twice daily and kept to a cleanly standard. Wi-fi kept the big kids occupied. Our room #8 was good for us, central to everything (kitchen, toilets, gaming facileities) the bunks, tv, and heater catered to me and my three children, with plenty beds spare for the niece and nephews to come chill. Loved it. Will definitely endeavour to go back again.

We had a break away from Wellington over labour weekend and my friend had told me it's a fantastic camping area. It was quiet so we really enjoyed it. The kids loved the playground couldn't get them away! It's central to everything and the swimming pool was just awesome definitely go back again.

Great camping ground, modern facilities always clean, lovely staff and handy to most parts of Napier.The layout is good, doesn't feel cramped even at peak. Motels and other accommodations all looked good too.Would definitely book again if in the area.

We're a family of 2 adults and 3 children (1-9 yrs) and stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment/motel unit. We loved all of the kid-friendly facilities, especially the heated swimming pool, adventure playground and the jumping pillow. Our room was clean and tidy. We can't wait to return and will be recommending Kennedy Park to all of our friends and family. Thanks for the great stay!

Cabins cost us 173 per night: 2 rooms and good kitchen but no bathroom or toilet in room. Little or no hot water in kitchen - not enough to wash dishes. It was a cabin so as you can expect no service was provided to our room in that time. Communal showers sometimes were cold depending on how many people used them at once. Would have been nice to have a little milk in fridge on arrival for a coffee but staff told me i had to purchase that. Place is clean. Playground and pool is awesome. Nice place to stay, a bit overpriced I feel, but it was early January.

We had a great time. The kids loved having the freedom to roam and play and I felt safe letting them do this at Kennedy Park. We are already planning our trip for next year. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to stay again.

Great community feel and great facilities.

Ive been going here since I was a child, and loved the place. Now I take my child to come and stay, by far the best top 10 i have stayed at. The kids absolutely love the place, the staff are friendly and there is lots to do to keep the kids occupied. I highly recommend.

What a wonderful place to stay with kids. Was almost full but you wouldnt know it. The place was clean and tidy, My kids had a ball playing on the giant pillow, swimming, go carts and play ground. Only down side was Storkeys was closed while we were there. Will definitely be back though.

Surprisingly good. Way better than a regular kiwi campground. We were a large group in 4 units, which were in excellent condition with new or modern interior and equipment. Good range of activities for kids, good atmosphere, good staff.

Honestly we didn't stay long enough to make a detailed review, but the small things that I did notice were... 1.. lovely welcome from front desk with easy directions to room.. 2...warm, tidy&very clean room (thumbs up cleaners, great job) 3..friendly pool man who didn't get upset with my children sneeking in for a early morning dip 4..car wash facility's, well done! 5.appreciated the text after we left saying thanks for staying..that was really nice... We stayed in our camper van on a powered site. all the facilities were great, lovely and clean, well maintained. The function we attended was at Storkey's restaurant and bar. the meal was great. The venue was lovely as well.

Booked out restaurant on Saturday had to pay for no shows but never got any of the leftovers even though we had to pay for those who didn't show. We should of been given the food we paid for that no one ate. 60 guests 10 no shows, so where was the no show's food we paid for. Reception staff unhelpful and not very friendly and didn't deliver missing items after asking twice. Bed had hair in it blonde & dark. Dead spider and bug inside sheets. A foul stench in room and around the whole resort. We were asked to clean barbecue but filthy before we even used them.. probably won't stay again uncomfortableness felt personal towards our group.

Clean, tidy and plenty of things to do. The biggest improvement that would make this 5 star would be an adult depth (and adults only) swimming pool. Loved our stay here and staff are exceptional. We would happily stay again if we're ever back in this area.

Excellent stay at this facility, very generous sized camp sites. One huge advantage was the Cold Storage Lockers although a bond had to be paid then a daily charge thereafter with the balance being returned to you at the end of your stay on return of your locker key, it was so good to know your food was in a self contained COLD locker which prevented spoiling in the heat. The supply of Compostable General Rubbish Bags was another plus for the camp as most camps we have been in do not supply the campers with rubbish bags. Well done on that aspect. Our family enjoyed our weekend here. The kids were kept very busy with all the activities in the park. Everything is clean and manicured, we appreciate it. The friendly staff is awesome. Thank you for giving us a great weekend.

Great accommodation. unit was warm and modern. The grounds were well kept. Liked that there was a small gym onsite and a nice 2-2.5km walk to town centre.The staff are awesome, very friendly and helpful and always warm and welcoming. We are even considering bring our family here for a holiday (just a shame its 7 hours out of Auckland, but worth the drive!)

We had a great stay and were very impressed with the facilities. Just one negative comment which was a biggie for us. We had emailed at the time of our booking to request a shaded site, and were assured on arrival we had a site with shade. We have a 1 year old who sleeps from 12pm to 2pm and needed the tent to not over heat. We arrived in the evening, set up the tent and found out the next day we had the direct sunlight from 9.30am to 7pm. There were plenty of sites near us that had shade. Our tent was scorching hot by 10am and letting our child sleep in the tent would have been like leaving her in a hot car. We ended up having to drive her around in the car every day for 2 hours just so she could sleep. Not quite the relaxing holiday we were looking forward to.

Kennedy park was absolutely amazing. We met for a little reunion and it had everything we needed. We stayed in the villa which was highly recommended they're spacious and is your home away from home. They have everything for the kids to be entertained. I will definitely be back!!

Have stayed at Kennedy Park a number of times over the years and our stay is always pleasant, there is plenty to keep the kids occupied and it gives the adults time to relax. Have not used Storkeys restaurant and bar so unable to comment on it.

Lovely clean

Loved the speed of the internet now. Last time we stayed it was not great. loved I could go sit by the pool and use the wifi, go into other cabins etc and it was like I was right next the router throughout the entire park. Heated pool was nice. Having a restaurant on site was welcome. New reception area is very nice. Its just a very nice and fun place for families to stay (and sports teams)

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There is something there for everyone. Playground swimming pool pub and restaurant. The room we stayed in was perfect for a family if 5. I will definitely be telling everyone about this venue. Just 1 thing that stopped me from giving a 5 star was when customers are waiting to be checked it would be nice to acknowledge those that are waiting and say we will be with you in a moment. The woman who served me was great. However 1 woman who was serving on the counter didn't smile at all. Really seemed like she didn't like her job. Her whole stamina was off.

Fantastic place for families. Especially for kids! You will have to watch what you are doing with kids running wild and unsupervised...but generally good. Good crowd control, so if you want to have boozy parties late in to the night, this is not the place for you. Which is a positive!!

Great place for the family, kids can play safely on their scooters or even hire a peddle car for 10$. The only let down is the on-site restaurant, felt like the food is more microwaved than cooked but the staff are great and very helpful. Close to local shops and supermarket which is helpful.

My family and I had such an amazing time. We wanted to pay for an extra night on our check out but on unfortunate circumstances at the time we couldn't. My children had such a blast and it's just an overall incredible place to stay. Highly recommended!

It's a beautiful place , makes you forget how close the city is. Been upgraded beautifully since I last was there. The pool was the best part, as it wasn't the warmest weather when we stayed we were still able to enjoy the heated pool. I will definitely be suggesting this resort to everyone I know and hopefully planning my next trip shortly!

Great location and facilities and friendly staff. We stayed with our three kids and they loved the pool and bouncy pillow. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. We'll definitely be back. The Wi-Fi was slow and weak connection but can't complain as it was free.

We were part of a bigger family group staying at Kennedy Park over the weekend and general consensus was that it is a great place for families and that we all want to come back again. All of the activities for children, lovely grounds and clean and tidy accomodation helped make our weekend a really enjoyable time.

We were very happy with our stay. The accommodation was comfortable and the kids enjoyed the freedom and entertainment around the park. This was a great family option. The bouncy pillow was heaps of fun, the boys had a ball hiring the go-karts (perfect grounds for hooning around!), the swimming pool was lovely and the park/games room also kept them busy. I couldn't believe that we got so many complimentary vouchers for the kids as well. We enjoyed some discount putting and a visit to the Aquarium thanks to this special touch! Can't recommend this place enough to families with kids (young and old kids!).

The restaurant had very tasty food, but lukewarm. The second night I went in for a meal I did ask if they could make the meal hotter, but no, lukewarm food again which let it down. Staff were very good And as stated above. The unit did not feel fresh and inviting on entering and felt like we were probably the 100th person to lie on the bedding. Overall a great place for children.

Kennedy Park is a great place to stay if you are traveling with kids. The amenities (playground, pools, games room) means there is lots to do without having to leave the park. Super close to napier city and all the attractions. We have stayed 5 times in the villas. They have everything that you need to self cater (although no oven but you can use the communal kitchens in the park) and daily servicing. Also access to free laundry if you are staying on that side and laundry is a must when travelling with children! When the kids are happy and entertained then the parents can relax and that is why we keep coming back to stay. There are loads of other families around so all the kids play together. It's a great environment, defintely recommended.

Fantastic facilities- the kids (3 x 3 and under) loved it and were busy every second of the day. All of the staff offered lovely service and although the units could do with some comfy seating for the evenings we would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay but were a bit annoyed Storkeys was closed for a private function. It should be available for guests. We will stay again for sure. Kennedy Park is clean, Friendly and a welcoming place to stay.

My husband is in a wheel chair and found the bathroom facilities excellent in the motel Staff outstanding made to feel very welcome.. Sorry but have to add not been allowed to smoke outside your motel unit not good, but probably not your rules.

Lovely park to stay in, the pool was such a bonus as the weather was stifling. Kids had a great time on the playground, tramp and pool. Staff were in general friendly and helpful. We will recommend to our family and friends

Nice place to stay reasonable price considering there is a pool, bar and restaurant. Cooking are adequate for places, only problem is some cooker rings would not auto light. We both had one of our showers when the water went cold. Would stay again. The are take aways 5-15 minutes walk/drive

Front desk service was impeccable. Staff welcoming and made our check in seamless. Unit #17, modern decor and bathroom - ceiling shower was the BEST!!! We stayed in 3 motels, Kennedy Park was our favorite. Appreciated the gated community. Felt safe. Will definitely stay again when we visit Napier.

This was a really nice resort with clean rooms and big outdoor garden to play football on. However, while being clean and very enjoyable in our room number 18 there was leftover hair in the drainpipe in the shower. We got it out though and it wasn't a big problem. Very enjoyable.

Great place to stay, I like that it is very child-friendly even though I had no children stay in my motel room, there was obviously lots for children to do to keep them busy. The room I stayed in was adequate or above and the only comment I made was that the decor could be updated. Cleanliness of room and all amenities in the room were of a good standard. I would recommend Kennedy Park Napier for a family stay.

The Motel was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom facilities were amazing, especially the overhead shower head. Can we suggest putting some security stays on the bathroom windows as we felt we needed to secure these when not in the unit. All in all a great quiet place to stay.

Me and my family booked our Xmas vacation here and the only reason we booked our holiday here was from what we saw of the resort on their website. When we got there, it was nothing like it. The pools shown in the pics are not big like it seemed in the photos. Far from it. We booked the deluxe suite, which contained 3 sets of bunk beds in one room which made it looked really cramped, and queen bed in the other room which was nice. It also had a kitchen, sng room table with tv, no sky. Now we brought along our chromecast so that we could watch movies beside the boring channels on tv. Dont bother taking the chromecast it wont work due to the wifi being sh*t!. We brought along the kids iPads and tablets and they too don't work often due to the wifi as well. Where our deluxe suite was we were close to the laundry room. Just so you know the washing machine take 2 x $2 gold coins and the dryers take $1 or $2 gold coins. Ring your own washing powder as they dont provide any. There is no atm machine at the resorts and if you need cash for these machine make sure you have some on you as the reception can only cash them into gold coins but you cannot draw some out. If you are thinking of playing at the arcade you will also need gold coins for these as well. If you want to hire buggies to ride around the resort its $10.00 for 1 hr. (I think that's a bit too much for 1 hr ride). Our older children with their partners stayed in the standard rooms and those rooms were ok, it has a mini fridge, little stove but no ovens. Wifi and it has sky but again channels to watch are limited. And close by is a laundry room which is free to use and comes with only 2 washing machine and 2 dryers. No coins needed. Our deluxe suite, the cleaning lady only comes by every 4 days to clean and replace towels etc. The standard rooms are apparently cleaned every day or towels are replaced everyday. To me and our family, Kennedy Park Resort was ok but not as great as we thought when we saw vids and photos of the place. They need faster wifi, upgrade all the TVs that didnt have sky with sky so it wasn't so boring to just watch channels 1, 2, 3, bravo, chinese channel, parliament channel, HGTV, etc. There is a restaurant there within the resort, a bit pricey on their meals but otherwise ok. They also do takeaways, if you can't be bothered to go out of the resort to buy some. They do have bbq areas if you want a bbq but sometimes it doesn't heat up as hot as it really should. There is a room there by the bbq area to cook your own meals and can be shared with others as there are several stove tops, ovens and fridge to keep you food in but you'll have to name your food. They have a quiet and reading room, a movie room, a little park and pillow jumper, 2 trampolines etc. When driving around in or out of the resort, be very mindful of the many children riding in the buggies or walking in your path including adults as well. Some don't even care that they are blocking your path, they'll just keep walking or riding in your way (no matter how many times you beeped at them to move) lol. I think that's about it, would i go back there again? NOPE! It was a good experience though. The location was perfect! Close to everything.

Had an absolutely awesome time at Kennedy Park! We only stayed for one night this time round but had a blast! The kids were up late bouncing on the air-pillow and playing on the playground! The only gripe from them was that we were not there long enough to go in the pool! Happily accommodated our request to check in early despite the fact someone had been in our room the previous night! Will definitely be back for longer next time to make the most of the pool ;)

This is a professional resort and has most of what a holiday maker would need. But it lacks soul .The reception staff are professional but distant. Some staff around the camp smile and greet you but most don't. My biggest complaint is that you have to bring your own cash. Washing requires $1 and $2 coins. Reception will not provide cash out but advised us we could go for a five minute walk to the local shops where there is an ATM. Apart from the fact that it was pouring down with rain no one at the shops would change the $20 I had to get out for $3 I needed for the machine. Perhaps change to a token system as a number of other campgrounds we have stayed at employs. That way you could just sell the tokens. Oh - and smile. You are a hospitality service after all.

Kennedy Park Resort is a fantastic family destination. Our kids are always so happy here, which means so are we! The facilities are very well maintained, nothing is too much trouble and the grounds are fantastic. We will continue our regular visits to you for sure :)

Lots for kids to do. Grounds are well kept, green and beautiful. Did expect the heated pool to be warmer. There are no aircons, the Wi-Fi connection isn't stable at all, and the over all appearance of the 2 bedroom we stayed in seems a bit out dated and dilapidated.

We really love our stay at Kennedy. Because of my mobility there is only 1 option to choose: a villa. Would be nice if people have more choices, mobility issues are already a handicap. And maybe some more activities for kids for free. Maybe a slide in kids pool.

We had the most fantastic time here. This is the only place I want to stay when we visit Napier. It was my husband and I, my 3.5 year old and my newborn son going on a road trip and our first big holiday as a family of four. Magical memories

Nice place to stay, really good facilities and friendly and helpful staff. Not so close to the center of Napier as we thought though. We should have stayed somewhere else, was a really short stop for us and we spend the day in town. But if you have a bit more time and want to cook yourself it's a good place to stay.

Absolutely loved it...we had activities planned for the kids however it seemed they would rather stay at the grounds as there was so much for them to do. Totally the best place we have ever stayed as far as facilities go for the whole family. Was amazed at the thought that had gone into the kids facilities - last place we stayed on sports trip was untidy and broken heaters etc. This was 100% better :-)

Really enjoyed our stay, we were only there for a night as a fill-in for a late arrival time before our main Easter accommodation, because the 24 reception was so handy. However we actually ended up hanging around the whole morning the following day, as our 4 year old loved it! Will definitely come again, and look forward to it. For a camp-ground style accommodation, you can't get much better

Facilities are excellent especially for a young family - the pool was lovely and warm and well groomed If I was looking to criticize I would say the parking spots allocated are very tight to park in but I guess the cars of today are a lot bigger than when I stayed last time ( approx. 35 years ago ) we were in unit 23 and if I did pull tight into our parking spot then the passenger door could not be opened because of the porch roof support

All that was required for our overnight stay in Napier. Very efficient & friendly checkin staff. Room was small and clean but very manageable. Nice outdoor seating to enjoy a drink or meal. Can only fault their tea selection...no earl grey, but I am a tea snob lol.

It was a lovely place to stay - right by the playground so we could keep an eye on the kids from the deck, amenities were right there. the kids loved the pool.

Great spot, even in the middle of winter. Our room was warm and clean. Lots for the kids to do and we appreciated the discount vouchers for local attractions....in fact that's why we chose to stay there!

The unit was well maintained inside, had all the mod-cons, bathroom was exceptional we thought. The fridge was a disappointment, as was accessing the free wifi. Reception staff excellent, security great. Storkeys just seemed to be not open although apparently it was - we would have used it. Location superb. We did enjoy our stay.

Highly recommend plus pretty much everyone asks when you say you're off to Napier 'staying at Kennedy Park?!' So it's very well known and loved. I think the range of types of accommodation will suit everyone and very helpful staff if you need anything. Well laid out and felt close to all facilities. Absolutely will come back.

This park was of a very high standard as far as facilities and cleanliness go but our first impression was jaded due to the welcome, or lack there of, by the scowling woman behind the reception desk. As I work in hospitality myself, I feel that this woman needs to do a course of some kind, to learn how to welcome guests to your business. Had we not been so tired I think we would have looked elsewhere.

We really enjoyed our stay, the layout was awesome and my 4 year old really enjoyed himself on the playground, the only downside was the pool, it was quite cold and we had promised lots of swimming to our little guy so ended up paying to go to ocean spa.

The ensuite unit (66) we found to be clean', roomy, well equipped, reasonably priced and ideal for a couple of pensioners in the area for a week to unedergo a medical operation. Thank You.

Wonderful 3 nights tenting at Kennedy Park. Our daughter has renewed love for camping. She loved the hire quad bikes and play area and pool. We really appreciated the quietness and peacefulness of the tent site area far away from the main pool and playground. The stunning Hawkes Bay weather certainly helped. We will be back.

A wonderful place to stay in Napier. Remember staying as a child in parent's caravan in the 1960's and have happy memories. So nice to come back with grandchildren to enjoy an even better experience! Thank you for a well maintained family orientated resort.

Fantastic holiday destination - great facilities, kids love it, close enough to town, Napier has so much on offer. If the weather is horrible kids can still play and swim at Kennedy Park. Price is good and it is a very family friendly atmosphere. Love the vouchers that are provided to use around Napier and at Kennedy Park. We have stayed twice and have now tried all the activities on offer. Mini golf, laser tag, aquarium, go-karts around the park - great fun things to do with the children and it is nice to save a little money while doing them. We will definitely be back!

A bit run down accomodation. But adequate for nights stay and clean. Pool was nice for a dip in before leaving in morning. But could have been a bit deeper with stbe stairs needing to be more clearly marked as they all same colour as pool hard to see.

When I arrived the guy in the reception was very polite and helpful, maybe he was used to work on a five stars hotel or something, I wasn't expected all that, especially arriving for a late checkin, so it was a nice surprise. There are also lots of things for the kids, a beautiful swimming pool and a restaurant that offers dinners. The only con is the internet, I wasn't able to connect even with the extra instructions provided for Apple users.

The occasion was my mother's 90th birthday. Family members had booked several units etc most for a two night stay. Apart from my above comment regarding children, the weekend was amazing. Storkys provided abeautiful meal at a reasonable price and the staff were excellent. Thank you.

A firm favourite to stay in Napier and resonates throughout my extended family, warm well appointed units covering all sizes and budget from luxury suites to basic single units Kennedy park is well appointed and family oriented with many options available for children. Swimming pool heated pool games room all star attractions for the kids. Service and staff always top-notch highly recommend this place.

The bedroom is good,l with no surprises/exactly as advertised. But the matresses (too soft, looks like I was sleeping in a hammock) ruined our night! Everyone woke up with back pain. Really terrible night. The services/ammenities offered are very good, the pool has a really good warm water, but the front desk doesn't inform us about the breakfast that we have to pre order in the day before to be delivered to us.

In the villa the double bed was comfortable but the single ones were less so. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and needed blankets underneath to make it ok to sleep in for a light child. Would have been uncomfortable for an adult. Reception staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. House keeping staff were lovely.

IVE haven't stayed at a resort or a motel for many years now...staying at Kennedy park WOW..the villa we stayed in was very stylish an clean .. my grandchildren had so much to do swimming was a plus as it was a hot day..as I had said I wished I had booked for to nites. Thanku

Our parents were staying in a twin studio. They were very happy with everyday service though another set of glasses/cups would be helpful. Overall we enjoyed our very relaxed stay but reception staff could be more friendly and helpful. Make sure you dont get un-powered sites close to the main street if you have problems with noise.

I will never look into spending our money in Napier at any other hotel, motel, lodge or any other over night stay. I love what Kennedy park has to offer!! Its a amazing vibrant kid friendly kind loving environment!! Amazing place!! Will be back always, even if its just for a break!

Loved our stay the staff were wonderful, grounds and activities great and our ensuite cabin was just right for our family of 4. My 5 year old son said he wants to live here forever and cried when we left. We will be back :) Thanks

There were some great things to like about Kennedy Park Resort lots for the kids and the location being so close to town. Our Kitchen cabin was ok but would probably select an ensuite cabin or motel unit next time.The unit we had got no sun at this time of year and for utensils a fish slice would of been helpful. The oven and gas hobs were great though.The only disappointing part was the swimming pool area. The pools were a lot smaller than they looked online and the temperature was very cool being Easter weekend. It's a shame because it is a wasted opportunity for the resort to provide something more.

With the 2 small exceptions of patchy (albeit, free) wi-fi and relatively small number of power outlets, our stay at KP was magic. Staff were brilliant and the park itself is as great as I remember from when I was young. Better, even. The heated pool was really nice. Being central and on the main road makes navigation to/from a breeze. The villa was modern, clean and felt like new. In all, a great stay!

My husband n I really enjoyed our stay at the camp....the children's play area was brilliant and our 3 year old grandson loved bouncing on the big bouncy pad and the trampolines. Being so close to Napier town and bus stops was a real bonus. Will definitely be staying here on our next visit to Napier. Carole Simpson

Great place to stay for the kids. They thorougly enjoyed it. Lots of stuff for them to do there. The restaurant and bar was closed off the whole week we stayed there due to an international group staying. That was most disappointing as we had planned a dinner and drinks night there. Customer service from the groundskeepers and housekeepers was absolutely fantastic. Lovely, friendly and helpful. However the customer service at reception needs work. Noone was made to feel welcome. There was no warmness or smiles. Looked like they actually hated working there. Not good when they are essentially the face of the resort. Overall, the park itself was great. Close to everything. Maybe update your books in the motel units where it says there is a free bike hire for motel units when there actually isnt.

We loved our stay at Kennedy Park. The Villa was lovely and tidy and perfectly located for our girls to play at the playground. It's a great place for families! Our five year old called it paradise and she didn't want to come home. We will definitely be back!

Loved that they had alot thea for the kids to do. My only let down was that I got thea at 2:30 an my room wasn't ready. It was not ready till 5:30 that night. :( so was prity pist off about that

We always enjoy coming to Kennedy Park. My husband loves the arcade games in the games room.... its like a step back in time to his misspent youth... ha ha ha. And the kids have a great time there, especially on the giant air pillow... and they even swam in the pool in the freezing weather (nutters). And we love the go-karts. In fact we all had a go on them ... even me (the chicken). And Carl the night manager was lovely... chatty, friendly, helpful.

Great amenities.helpful staff. Good location, good sites. But the noise at night is terrible. Regular noise until the early hours virtually every night. People partying at the kitchens, or drunk people wandering among the tents and shouting. Night after night the same. I wish the staff would do something.

Love the location. Nice and clean with pleasant areas for camping with trees and hedges. Good security which we feel is essential as it is an urban area.

Hi all its been comfy, the kid's love the all year round swimming. We're in a cabin with our own kitchen facilities, but use the communal toilet and showers facilities which are fan...but don't forget you bound to get a cold one it is communal...

Kennedy Park is by far my favorite top 10 holiday park always has been as a kid. Now I get to enjoy it with my own children. Has deffinantly upgraded since I last visited. ♡

Great family place to stay with kids. We have 6 children from 5mths to 13 years. Kennedy park accommodated for every age. The spacious growns to kick a ball to the kids area with lots of activities to keep the children busy was plesent. Bonus that we even got to watch the Rugby in the theater room! I highly recommend staying here. Thankyou for your kind customer service and supporting any questions that we had. You made our stay easy and enjoyable with the clean facilitys you provided us with.

Great place to stay if you have kids, lots for them to do. In my opinion the villas are the best accommodation but of course the most expensive. We have found it great with extended family, each can have their own unit but you can get together when you want to and the kids love going between them.

Our initial two day booking was increased to three days and then four days. Lovely camping facilities, centrally located. We were sited reasonably privately and enjoyed the peace and quiet of Kennedy Park. OH, and the showers are amazing, a massage and a shower together.

6 kids, 2 adults - my family had the best time - the kids love swimming so the heated pool was the main attraction. They are all still buzzing and want to come back asap. Tried to book over xmas / new year but all booked out! As soon as we can - we will be back.

We had a wonderful stay here at Kennedy Park. The facilities and service were excellent except for small children in wet weather. The only reason for my lower score was the crazy $20 per night extra we had to pay for a 4 year old to stay in an unpowered tent site.

Loved how the unit was cleaned and tidied when we were out so we came back to a tidy unit. Great location to Napier and Aquarium, stock cars, shops. Air pillow tramp was loved by all our kids, clean, tidy and well provided unit on very nice and well established grounds.

We loved it, it exceeded our expectations. Very clean (unit and grounds) and safe. Storkey's restaurant was great, totally under-sold as the meals were lovely and well priced. Can't wait to come back.

We had the best time ever! This was our first stay at Kennedy Park and the children loved every part of their stay from the jumping pillow to the free wi-fi. We dont holiday very often as I am raising my children on my own and finances are tight but this was very reasonably priced. We loved the 'family escape deals' The grounds felt safe and secure and i was happy to let the children have some free rein to explore, knowing the gates have security codes so most people there would be family orientated also. We will definitely be back!!!! Thank you for such a positive experience.

Great family friendly accommodation and facilities. Some of the motel rooms are a wee bit tired and could do with updating but otherwise clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

Clean and tidy, with a full range of accommodation options, this gem has a very handy location and friendly welcoming staff. Our stay was hassle free and relaxing as we hoped it would be. A breeze to book online, and well worth a return visit or two...

It is a lovely resort, however, I did not see the the swimming pool area. We arrived late in the evening and left by 10am the next day. If we stay again I would make sure to check out the swimming pool. Thank you.

good place to stay, fun for the kuds, just that our lounge is very small to use, the dinning table hardly fit. But bathroom really big? Small lounge make it hard to use kitchen facility. No table outside for our unit. Not many towel rails either.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had we stayed longer we would have made use of Storkey's. We were too busy catching up with people outside the camp and visiting all the places of interest around the area to make use of the Restaurant/Bar as we would have liked to. We found your Park location very convenient as it was close to all the many attractions that Napier has to offer.

We were staying because of a funeral. It was a sudden and unexpected death of a young family member. I would like to thank the staff for their empathy, assistance and amazing skills at fitting us all in during school holidays. Samantha found us two villas side-by-side and fitted in other adults in nearby studio rooms. Samantha made a really difficult time so much easier for me. Thank you to all of the staff - reception, housekeeping and grounds - who were kind, happy and so very helpful. We plan to return to Kennedy Park under happier circumstances - our children loved it and the adults enjoyed the fact that we could let the children wander to the play ground unsupervised without worry.

I found the front office staff rude and just couldn’t be bothered or helpful. They were always busy chatting away not really interested in assisting guests. They never greet including all Kennedy park resort staff on grounds. It was appalling actually Never experienced anything like it before

We actually stayed in an Ensuite Unit which was adequate for our requirements. I can't really comment on Storkey's Restaurant and Bar as we did not use this facility, however prices and variety of food seemed reasonable. We would stay at your resort again and also recommend it to other friends. Your groundsman was also most obliging in helping us out with a piece of number 8 wire to tie up our broken exhaust system.

We love coming here. Kennedy Park is able to cater for all of our Group's needs, no matter our various family configurations. It's close to everything and the standard of facilities and customer service is excellent.

Everything we had heard about Kennedy Park was true, clean, tidy and a great place for the kids. Your accommodation set up suited our requirements. Perfect for three teams of young basketballers and supporting families

A lovely resort - so close to the supermarket and everywhere we wanted to go (wineries, Napier city centre) were reasonably close via car. The shower facilities could be updated - some of them have a build-up of lime scale etc, and the shower walls are peeling off due to excessive water. Also, the swimming pools need a rethink - one is so shallow it is not used by anyone and sitting empty too often! Otherwise, a pleasant and convenient place to stay with a campervan or tent (we didn't see the interior of cabins so cannot comment).

Really friendly staff, room tidy ( Kitchen Cabin) & clean but not the warmest during winter. Turn the heater on early as it takes a wee bit to warm up. No complimentary milk or sugar etc so take your own. Take extra blankets too in winter, we had to use extras from the bunk beds.

Clean and tidy units. The one that we reserved had one room with a double bed and one room with four bunk beds but I know that they do have units a room with six bunks. With the two rooms, theres a toilet and bathroom and a dining and kitchen area with microwave and utensils, cooktop with cooking equipment. If you are looking to camp, there are areas for tents and campervans with communal toilets and showers, one for men and one for women and a communal kitchen. This place is a great place to stay with children as there's plenty of play areas, swings, trampolines and a pool

Perfect, relaxing couple of half days (1night)...was exactly what we were looking for - comfortable and clean room to sleep, with excellent, safe, large and entertaining back yard for kids to play in...in very relaxing, natural environment. I have came to Kennedy park for the past 15 years. often stay in kitchen or standard cabin to suit my budget. This time were were upgraded to the motel unit at a sale promotional price (family special) and free vouchers for discounted things in Napier which i felt was really useful to use on our stay. my 12yo son enjoyed the FREE entry vouchers to the aquarium, mini golf and skate park on the marine parade. For dinner we went to the onsite restaurant and got the Roast beef meals which were amazing and very filling. Lots of meat and gravy an the children's ones were filling an big to. The park was very clean, safe for kids to run off and do there own thing on the huge playground, basketball hoop, boucey jumpy pillow and tramps and the resort looking and feeling pool which sadly we didnt get to go in as i didn't bring our togs ,as didnt know it was heated. watching the steam rise early in morning / evening made it inviting so we will be sure to bring togs for our next visit and look forward to another roast in the restaurant on site. staff were welcoming, kind and chirpy. cleaned our room daily and were always smiling. Overall it was very good and as it was our daughter's wedding it was a ideal place to keep all the family together. Pity the restaurant was not open as we probably would have used it. Many thanks we had a neat weekend

Pleasant cabin and very big for two people. Linene provided. Everything was very clean. Staff very friendly. Kitchen well equipped but no cooking utensils. No security camera and someone stole our cool bag so don’t put anything in the fridge. Free wifi could be perfect.

Stayed here for about 2 weeks and had to move cabins quite a few times to accommodate a school that was in napier for some sporting event . It was okay but could have been better with internet service and television channel options.

Loved our stay here on the weekend. Will definitely be back again. Just make sure there isn't a storm coming next time. Would have loved to have used the kids playground with our toddler. :) thank you!

Great family place.. We had one of the studio units.. Very comfortable.. We had a meal in Storkys family restaurant,food was as good as a takeaway,nothing flash but after a days exploring the surrounding sites it was good just to walk out your door, have a meal and a cold beer or a wine.

The room we stayed in is a little out dated and could do with an update and some reverse cycle air con but otherwise, The overall experience is great. Perfect place for kids lots to do so highly recommend.

Lovely staff in office, the Man that served me was very nice. Arrived around 5ish PM on the July 18th he deserves a bonus, he was very lovely and explained everything I needed to know, well done.

Can't say much apart as we just asked for any special offers for an overnight with our campervan during off-peak season and to me they just quoted a cost that was by far the highest we had during the last 7 days. So, we decided to use one of the many freedom camping options instead and 'ended up' in one close to the beach and still within just 1.5km walking distance to tbe city center.

Lovely holiday park, nice facilities. Our first family camping experience with a ~5 month old a ~2 year old and a 4 1/2 yo. Kids loved the swimming pool and playground. Will be back for sure.

Kennedy Park is a lovely family resort. Facilities are great and kids can roam the grounds freely without parents worrying. All the staff, from reception to housekeeping are friendly and full of local knowledge.

I organised a cycling group visit from Tauranga. In the end there were 41 bikes and about 45 people who came. Everyone in the group really enjoyed our stay at Kennedy Park. There were no negative comments heard. The staff were excellent. The group stayed in various accommodation options which proved excellent. I would really recommend Kennedy Park as a base for visiting cyclists.

We absolutely loved the park. It was amazing for our family so child friendly there was so much activities to do it keeped them busy for hours. It was amazing the vouchers we got offered as it showed us things to do in Napier we didn't even realise were there. We xouldnt be more impressed thank you for yoir wonderful Villas and amazing groinds and helpfully friendly staff.

It was an enjoyable experience with just a few improvements needed. Sort out the WiFi, everyday it didn't work. Having an onsite restaurant is great but booking it out for 2 weeks to one international group was a disappointment. A larger deeper pool when be better than 3 small pools.

Best place to stay when with a big group of family and friends. Heaps of things for the kids to do and staff were awesome as well! Have added this Kennedy Park to our must return to list!

Loved everything but the bed. They are cheap and spongy. Just spend abit more with a bed with some structure and the stay for me would be perfect.

Overall the only real problem was the person knocking on the door everything was a lovely stay. Lovely staff. The receptionist said if this happened again we need to use the phone and ring reception.

a great place to use as a base to venture out from to different parts of the Bay, we used 3 units for 3 different sized groups of different ages the children had plenty of things to do within the facility from swimming or riding the bikes or playing at the park.

We have previously stayed at the resort in a self contained cabin and with this being our first visit as a camper, my partner and I were so impressed with the grounds and overall service of the staff that we will be booking a site on our next trip up to the sunny Hawkes Bay. Thank you so much for making our long awaited holiday so special.

Awesome facility, everything spotless but don't expect anything from the free WiFi, haven't been able to get a worthwhile connection any time of day or night... The WiFi was better in other areas of the park, by the pool was great. Not much luck in our cabin.

Overall another pleasant stay at Kennedy Park Resort. Did find a member of the Reception Staff a litttle short with me. I wish that they would also repaint the Unit Numbers of the Car Parks, had issues with other people parking in our spot, as this wasn't marked.

Just rang from the hospital and because we live out of the aera needed accomadation unexpectedly. The receptionist was very helpfuly and understanding. Very friendly and helpfu;y. We were only at the park to sleep so did not use or look around the whole park. Would use it again if need to go back down to Napier.

My score would of probably been higher but we managed to arrive on the exact night cyclone cook came through Napier. The place was understandably in dis array, but the ground staff worked hard to get it back in order asap. Over all we love Kennedy park & have already re booked for next easter

I loved the whole atmosphere at Kennedy Park, very family friendly...clean and comfortable.. I prepaid online, was so effort less arriving picking up the key and settling in the rooms for the much needed rest....a very pleasant stay, I will use Kennedy Park again. ..

Despite the "Hiccups", without a doubt it was an absolute pleasure staying at the Resort for the first time. We came to Kennedy Park for a family holiday and were really pleased with the facilities and the cleanliness of the place. What was best was being able to sit and relax and know that the children had plenty of things to keep them entertained and that they were in a safe environment.

Nice busy place close to the centre of Napier. We stayed in one of the apartments. Basic accommodation with everything you need. Good value specially for families or groups.

We stayed here with family great place to stay had everything and more the kids loved it in the Center of town very handy, the room was self contained 2 bedrooms with a small private area out the back.

Would highly recommend this place. We've had nothing but excellent service and a wonderful time at Kennedy Park. Looking forward to returning in the very near future.

Was ok considering we werent there much, but the neighbours we noisy and thumped around all night. we would not stay in those units again but would stay elsewhere on the grounds and the other rooms were single story with no one above

Great places easy access for everyone .park a camper hire a cabin or even pick your tent..everything easy ..nice cllean ..plenty of activities to entertain to a wide range of people. Convenient distance to shops and centre of Napier. Good value for money .You wouldnt be disappointed camping here ... Only down side some tent and parking sites to close yo main road..but...they have done there best to try and bloke out sound with trees and inbankment etc..

Apart from the security guard being a huge fail with his over the top aggressive approach and an initial resistance for assistance from housekeeping correcting the incorrect bed situation the overall stay at Kennedy park was wonderful. Central, Spacious, very clean and tidy.

We enjoyed our stay, it wasn't overly busy which was great, staff were friendly always, my niece loved the pool and the big pillow, one issue when we ordered takeaways from Storkeys restaurant, they need to work on their fish batter, it was overcooked almost burnt and you shouldn't have to tear into the fish it should be crispy and the mini hot dogs were tough(friendly criticism)😁 wouldn't buy there again, overall we had an awesome stay.

Have stayed at Kennedy park heaps of times but this time was disappointed with the accommodation. Feel the accommodation is more set up for summer, feel things could be improved on for the winter months. Staff were great.

Lovely place to bring the kids but it does need a few upgrades and some of the rooms don't have an iron been there twice and had 3 rooms because I didn't book early enough but that was my fault other than that very accommodating

Overall the resort is well situated, the amenities catered for our needs, the staff we came in contact with during our stay were professional, friendly and helpful. Thank you and well done Kennedy Park Resort.

Overall great place to stay when you are in Napier. Clean rooms and facilities. Near to the cbd and tourist spots. Although, it would be good for the front staff to have always a Welcoming Smile. 5stars if it was with a smile...

Probably good for a family on a budget but I am neither a family, or a budget. I really wanted to go on the large bouncy mat but unfortunately there were kids using it so I never got a chance. Barbeque area was nice, took quite a while to bring one of the hotplates up to temperature. While I was trying to slow down the rate my vegetarian sausages we're cooking I struggled to get any colour on my zucchini rounds. Kasadeeahs worked out alright, tried doing one with haloumi which was okay. Definitely not the right cheese for it tho. Not enough melt. People have this weird idea that the heads of the asparagus are the best part. I disagree. Lenthwise slice flash fry with a dash of balsamic glaze and watch those fibreous legs sing! Shower was adequate, bed was fine, didn't use the toilet so can't comment.

Overall a great stay, the kids activities and facilities were great. The resort was clean and well presented and the staff were helpful and courteous. Although we were disappointed that the restaurant was closed for the week we were there and that we hadn't been advised of it before our arrival.

The Rose gardens were lovely, it is the end of season, but great work being done. Our garden group enjoy the beautiful area forage picnic lunch & tour.

My Whanau and I have stayed in most of the rooms there, each being very different but still excellent from the most best room onsite to the less expensive room. Kennedy Park caters for everybody. My tamariki always ask to stay at Kennedy Park as they know there's alot of things to do there eg: playground (especially the bouncy pillow), pool, co-karts, arcade, n most of all the vending machines. We have been here 3 times now. Would still come back here as you are close to town. Walking distance 15-20 mins. Amenities good. Reasonably quiet at night. Good sized tent sites.

Kennedy Park was so close to town and all attractions. We couldn't fault any of it. The Villas were amazing and very spacious. Didn't have to bring a thing. So will know for next time if we in a Villa (as I packed almost as if we were camping eg frypan, fishslice, salt and pepper) the villa had it all. Well done!

We absolutely loved our stay and we have highly recommended you to our family and friends. Definitely a great place to stay for all. We wish that we had dined in at the restaurant, we definitely will next time.

The cabins are Good cheap accommodation. Toilets and showers are a bit out dated but were clean. Staff are good to deal with.

As holiday parks go, this one's the best we've stayed at so far. Clean, convenient, warm rooms. The mattresses are meh. I've seen worse. :)

Have stayed at camp approx 10 to 12 times may be more. Always been extremely clean and tidy.. Staff have always been helpful.

Really good time, the pool is quite small for the number of people at the site, great location though and there are other pools around Napier if the pool there gets too busy.

Enjoyed our stay over Christmas and will definitely return. Busy site but was very family friendly with campers respecting each other. Awesome!!!!

Enjoyed our stay my 12yr old son had a wonderful time there playing with his friends from his swimming club from Gisborne as there was a few staying there also and the adults had a good chance to mingle.

Nice holiday park, clean and tidy with a very friendly staff. Lots of things avalaible to do, swimming pool, free bbq, ... The only thing that could be better is the wifi ( they give you 0.1 gb for free but it's really slow).

It was great, we came to ride the trails and being oldies found everything to our liking we couldn't have asked for anything better. Our friends and ouselves will beback again for sure we need to finish the trails and do a bit more sightseeing.

I had an enjoyable stay. I booked because I was familiar with the location and it was close by places I needed to go over the weekend. The unit was clean and comfortable.

We were part of a large family group, booking 4 units in total. The kids had a great time and it was a stress free visit for all the adults. Thank you.

Staff were professional and efficient. Facilities were plentiful. Kitchen benches and sinks were oddly low - would suit children.

Additional plus, I asked for a hairdryer which was bought to our room almost immediately at it was getting late in the evening. One thing I can suggest, that maybe some alert or notification be sent to visitors prior to arrival that they still have a balance of "$" to pay. I had forgotten that I had only paid a deposit at the time, thought I paid the whole lot- duh!!

It was great fun for our family as first timers holidaying like that, in a resort with other families. We definetly wont to come back and we definitely wont to stay more than 1 night.

Excellent facilities and service would happily recommend other families use this facility. Napier itself and the marine drive specifically has great options for things to do with families will definitely be back.

Another great stay at Kennedy Park for our whānau attending Iron Māori over the weekend. Easy booking. Facilities were good for the price point. Food was great. Cleanliness of the room needed a bit more attention. Stay was pleasant.

Lots of things for the kids to do but don’t use the dryers as they eat your money 😔 and you have to walk 5km to get cash to exchange for change as you can’t use eftpos to get change for washing or drying of clothes 😳 but you can give cash 🤔 apart from that was good.

With out doubt Kennedy Park is one of the best holiday parks that we have ever stayed in. The kitchens and shower areas were very clean we were there for Art Deco weekend when the park was extremely busy but stanfards were still very high. We would advise any one visiting Napier to stay there . We will be back !!
