Reviews of Omokoroa Skate Park
E.Been here a couple of times. The kids absolutely love this skate park. There is a little park area too. Definitely the best skate park we've been to.
J.If you've got a skater bone in you, or teenagers or little ones that love to tear around and get outdoors in scooters, then get here. Lots of smooth concrete and easy turns and bumps for skateboarders and scooter riders. And once they get tired of that, they can do a thousand runs on the flying fox to wear them out. Then there are the swings for the not so adventurous ones. Probably a good place to have an outdoor birthday party instead of coeaning up the mess at your own place. And if you're hungry, buy some sausages from Fresh Choice down the road, bring them back to the park and cook em up on the two BBQ'S at Omokoroa skate park. It's busy on the weekend here as the footy field is right next door but still a great place to head for the family of all ages

P.Nice park out of Tauranga for a couple hours. Lots of shade under trees and plenty seating for parents to watch their children or join in. Swings and other things to amuse as well as the flying fox with 2 people able to have a go at the same time. Had a great time 👍😊
N.Even though we didn't use the park, harry loved the other facilities, taking the dog for a walk around the sports ground. Just remember with the 4 legged family members need their poos bagged, tagged, and loaded in the bins.

P.It is very good but you need to put in space for the little kids because they keep interfering with the older kids but other wise it is very well put together thank you
Also a drinking fountain would be a great investment, sometimes on a hot day without a fountain it puts off skateboarders frequently.
L.Flying fox is great for kids and adults! Plenty of trees for shade, and a fantastic skateboard ing area.

C.My grandsons think it's the best skate park in Tauranga. Always lots of kids there with a variety of jumps, as well as picnic places and flying fox

T.Travelled all the way over from Mount Maunganui to bring my daughter over with her scooter. The actual park is amazing for all ages but that’s about it there’s no water or toilet facilities on site so you have to pack some lunch with a drink if you think of staying long but you’ll be lucky to last 1 to 2 hours at the most if you’re making it a day out, there are no tables, absolutely nothing else to enjoy or make it enjoyable.
C.Great local skate park all pretty new. Lost for the kids to tackle on boards scooters or bikes. Needs more seating, a couple bbq's and at least another bin. I believe there's gonna be a kids playground built soon.
O.Excellent skate park, real nice concrete, good challenge for beginners and great practice spot for the pros. Only con would be peak time and the fact the park sort of flows downhill.
P.Wow. Could spend all day here. So many looping tracks and activities for different skill levels. Also flying fox and slides for variety. Lots of parking and a really nice, safe feeling.
E.Awesome skate park, really well.set out and they now have seats for parents. Could do with some shade and maybe a water fountain and then would be perfect!

V.It's a really lovely skate park. Kids are generally really good to each other taking turns and waiting. Wish there was a shop nearby!

S.Quite a bit better than the average skatepark in terms of size and functionality, wouldn't recommend for skaters, there is not the best skating utility's, there are a few but no decent half pipes or anything like that.
