M. B.I came here for the Paeroa highland games and tattoo, it was a fantastic place and everyone there was also happy with the location.
If you are going to be having an even it the area this is a great location handy to shops and destinations north, west, east and south as well as famous locations close by.
The paeroa highland games & tattoo is a fantastic annual event that sees people from all over the North Island of Scottish ancestry/interest in Scotland come to celebrate.
There are clan displays, stalls from various Scottish shops, wood chopping competition, solo piping competition, pipeband competition, heavyweight highland games competition and a junior highland games competition plus others performances.
At the end off the day everyone comes together with all the pipe bands and other performers putting on a great entertaining show.
