E.Otago Ski Club is the organization name, while the lodge is called Joel Lodge (i believe its named after one of early member/founder's name).
I stayed here for 2weeks (late Aug-early Sept 2018), and due to a long stay i ended joining the club as member. While they are a ski club, they also accept people of other winter sports 😉.
During my stay, Pete is the lodge caretaker. I had a wonderful time staying here. The members here were awesome n like a big family.
During winter, there are shuttle-buses looping from CoronetPeak ski base to the carparks, so this lodge is near carpark #4. You can also walk but it involves few stairs.
Staying here on mountain is convenient as you can easily rest during lunch break or have a short rest for night ski.
Being a club lodge, this lodge(and few neighboring lodge) accepts school trip group stays. So when large groups of kids around, prepare for havoc.
