s.While on a touring holiday to New Zealand myself and my partner Barry France we came across this bowling club. Speaking to the gang maintaining the green found out that they were having a practice session in the afternoon. Returning in the afternoon to find a wonderful club with a friendly atmosphere. After signing in as visitors had a lovely hour chatting to the club members. Invited to have a few ends very enjoyable but different as I crown green bowl in England. Later I think the chairman was giving instruction. Bowling is a wonderful social environment I would advise all Rotaruaians to give it a try. I would certainly join this happy club problem to far from England. Having seen all the usual that New Zealand has to offer the memory of the afternoon is top of the list. Only disappointment never took photo of the afternoon gang. Sylvia and Barry.
