Ordered takeaway meals that were cooked beautifully. Compliments to the chef! Friendly and accomodating service. Highly recommend the steak and garlic bread!

Family friendly club Two levels with lift access to the bar ,and, dining area. Entry well sheltered from the elements offering a good drop off for us old buggers whilst junior parks the car . NOTE please do not park beside a vehicle that is attached to a trailer unless you too are attached to a trailer . The upper deck overlooks the 3 all tide ramps. A good spot to take some vicarious pleasure in the misfortunes of the inexperienced . NO i asked YOU to check the Bung .. I dont get it The motor started this time last year ,,, Here Darling , catch the keys and my phone .. while I slip the fair lead .. Just Saying ...

What you would expect from a boat club, cheap beers and big servings of food. All mains comes with chips as well as the pre prepared vegetables underneath the head lamps. Service was friendly and prompt, you may need to book a table on a Friday and Saturday night, or get their before 6.30pm and you might be lucky. Good views of the harbour

Visited this club for a few drinks and a meal. We were made very welcome, restaurant food was exceptional. We all had great meals. And used their courtesy van for a ride back to the local holiday park afterwards. Thank you for your hospitality !!

Enjoyed this place.. Very nice food. Unfortunately the weather was SO hot that we didn't really feel like eating. Extensive menu. Lovely serving person.. Did her best to seat us in coolest place in restaurant. Will def give it another go wen weather is a bit cooler.

Our meals were as expected for this caliber of restaurant. I reckon they got consultant in to design menu with bit of flair, then trained staff to bang it out. Honestly they do a good job but it's obvious we are at a boat club and nothing more. Good effort guys.

Just took my daughter here for dinner. She had chicken nuggets, I had beef burger, garlic bread entree. Garlic bread burnt, both our meals and chips not cooked. I let them know, however nothing done. I then emailed, got a response from the chef who wanted to do our meal again. Appreciate the follow up

Good set up here for boat launches, just not at low tide, haven't tried the restaurant here but will in near future. I have heard the food is pretty good tho.

Had dinner at the Bowentown Boating Club on Friday night - wonderful fresh food, tasty, great value and lots of options to choose from and an awesome view across the bay. I enjoyed the homemade beef burger with salad and fries, my partner enjoyed a yummy steak and salad. Great fun, happy families and people of all ages, amazing raffles. Fantastic!

Dinner at the restaurant at Bowentown Boating & Sport Fishing Club. Had a Seafood Plater $30 and had trouble eating it, not for any other reason than let's say it was plentiful. There was a wide variety of seafood, some may have been a little over cooked but, recommend. Worth the trip out there.

Handy boat ramp to launch for the Bowentown heads. Two members ramps ans one public ramp, pay $6 for public use. Jetty adjusts for the tide level.

On a very wet summer's day we had been hunting for a cafe that was quieter than the hordes at the North End of Waihi Beach. We found the peace at Bowentown, and we found olde fashioned Kiwi politeness and service with a smile. We also had the perfect coffee's to takeaway and thoroughly enjoyed them while watching the rain over the Pohutukawa lined coast at Anzac Cove.
