we had the most amazing afternoon, we pushed our comfort levels. a great family activity for mum, dad, 11 and 9yr old girls.. nice picnic areas and you can take your own picnic lunch. the amount of people on the course is well controlled so there is very little wait time. staff were friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. well maintained facility that has been developed alot since our last visit a few years ago. highly recommended for a family outing.

One of my worst fears are heights so I was happy to keep my feet on the ground and take photos. All in all, everyone enjoyed their afternoon. Met some really nice people too

We love Adventure Forest! It’s always a highlight of our trips up to Whangarei and we look forward to it for months before we visit. Loads of fun, a good workout and the staff are wonderful 😊 Highly recommend!

Great staff, great design and a beautiful setting make this a fantastic destination. The staff were friendly and engaging, and the rope courses were very well designed, catering to everyone from 2 year olds and up.
The car park is small, but bookings are essential to take part so parking isn’t really an issue.
There are port-a-loo style toilet facilities, and you will need to bring your own drinks and snacks.

I was really surprised at this wee hidden gem!! It is a beautiful space and honestly so so much fun! So worth the cost! We had an absolute bast and have plans to go back as soon as we are back in Whangarei! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

So much fun climbing! Fantastic safety systems, easy for even the 4yr old to learn effectively. Everyone had a great time! Challenging but achievable.

We took our 3 1/2 and 7 year old girls here with some family and had a great time.
The French management with their obvious attention to families as well as adult clientele was heartening.
The hardware was top quality, well maintained, as well as the supplied harnesses and helmets.
The permanent harness tether was a great system which I had not used before.
There are simple long drop style toilets, picnic benches and lots of cool shade perfect on the hot sunny day when we were there.
The Black Stump Cafe on the main road nearby is a good spot for lunch with good coffee and fresh produce available.
I will definitely recommend this place to others.
It caters well to all ages. My two year old nephew right up to grandparents found a challenge to suit their abilities.

A totally awesome place for kids and adults! And they are on at any weather (except very strong wind). Different levels for pretty much any age and fitness level. Lots of flying foxes!! The people who run it and all the instructors are very attentive and help with any little problem. They also make sure that the customers know what they are doing and keep an eye on everybody.
