Clean, fresh and cool. It was a very hot day when we visited and I was sitting on the concrete in the carpark in a bit of limited shade, giving my dog a stretch and cooling off period. A lovely young female staff member came over to check we were alright and asked if she could provide water for the dog. Very thoughtful of her and appreciated, though not needed as we had cool water.

Brilliant supermarket with something of everything .good grocery lines and breads, deli and meat sections. A well stocked alcohol section. Well laid out..Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Good tidy supermarket. Plenty of parking and lots of variety. Staff are friendly. Store is usually very clean and organised. It's also located on the main street, so very convenient location for all the visitors passing through, motel guests, workers, locals etc, so the store is always busy. But to manage with the workload, they have enough staff on the checkouts, which is nice to see.

My partner and I appreciate the wide range on products, especially the Fairlie's pies, and the amazing people who work and shop there. I lost my credit card while buying the groceries and they found it an returned immediately. They also have a great care of their customers, following up our concerns about feeling unwell after eating the chicken curry frittata from deli. The staff are so friendly and recognise you (even if you only come once a week) Even during lockdown when it can be quite stressful to work in (nevermind just shop!) they have been great and when it is your only interaction with other people in lockdown, it really means a lot. I went to this shop today checkouts were 3 deep fast express Lane not open and checkout lady told me I qualified for carrot bag while they were totaling up but I didn't get the carrot bag the check out girl seemed disinterested never said hello the other lady who was packing my groceries was OK but if you qualify for something you should get it or have the chance to turn it down grrrrrre

Amazing. I mean, it's New World, the best supermarket in NZ (except for PaknSave haha). Only been let down by a few NWs in NZ, and overall this one is excellent and I found everything I needed at surprisingly excellent prices. EXCEPT for their bananas. They were terrible quality today and weren't even in stock yesterday. What's up with your bananas NW Alex?

This is a modern supermarket with all of the departments and features that you would expect. The building was enlarged and upgraded a couple of years ago and offers a good layout and selection of goods. During holiday periods it can be very busy, with holiday-makers in a relaxed mood and taking their time. I have found the checkouts to be well managed with sufficient open to handle the peak times. Very good wine and beer selection.

Very tidy store. The car parks direct entry when you look forward is actually a one way... my wife got confused and had to back out to turn left as to not go up the one way meant only for traffic coming out. No sign to suggest it's a one way only some faded white arrows. Aside from that confusion bustling small town new world. Great service by amanda on the check outs 😁😁

The place is always clean and tidy and nice and bright. The staff are helpful and welcoming and it's somewhere you can have a pleasant yarn with folk and staff alike whilst going about your shop.

I was visiting this one only few times as a tourist but I found pretty much everything. You can buy a lot of cooled things and also a hot chicken (even stuffed)! On the cashdesk except for a cashier there's another person loading your stuff in a bag (good for ladies with looong nails :-P ).
