A.Good layout, clean store, lots of parking and friendly staff. Pharmacy is nice bonus but sadly quite small. Preferred place to shop in town

D. S.If you are one of those fanatic of whole food lover, then you will be in heaven here. They actually dedicated special area for you. I know you can find those items in every Countdown in New Zealand, but over here, you will treated a bit more special. Other special features here is their special pickup area at the entrance. That mean, you do the online shopping, they would prepare your stuff ordered to be picked. How awesome could that be? Good job, guys

However didn't like 2 of the staff at delicatessen talking infront of me in there own language before being served it was awkward waiting for them to finish then seve me as I had no idea what they where saying it was a awkward moment experience for me

T.When i went in a few times i found this countdown a great place to shop.
There was always enough trolleys and the trolley bays werent over filled.
The kids free fruit basket was always filled with a variety of fruit.
I feel like its tidy and has plenty of different specials.
The staff are very friendly that they pack and put your bags in the trolley. How is that for service. Well done thanks for making my visits a pleasure.

A. a.Don't understand why some things differ in price in the deli especially from the countdown store at other end of town. Shelves needed restocking in alot of areas.
N.Prices are 10%higher than PaknSave -range is not as good as it should be-shelves are often empty-these guys really need some competition to shake them up-for there own good!
H. J.Nice place to shop. As with all Countdown, lots of parking space, spacious shop and varieties of items. Although there were 2 items on promotion but not captured by system during check out, staff were very proactive and helpful to resolve it.

A. J.All Countdowns usually have what I'm looking for, including friendly customer service, this branch however is a little different in that respect. I'm not sure if they're constantly understaffed, but just try to buy a lotto ticket here, jeez, the woman consistently has a face like a dropped pie and the attitude to match.

J. W.I would just like to say this countdown staff up the front were very accommodating today. I was having a bad day and could hardly move more than usual. I had pulled my neck anyway, I was so anxious to ask for help to have someone put my groceries into my car but i did. And they were so kind and they did. Maybe if you’re struggling and you actually need help just ask you never know. I HATE asking btw. Im stubborn just ask anyone... Thanks Countdown Checkout and service team you made today alot more easier thats for sure.
