First visit here, as it's the nearest spice shop to me thought I'd better try it out. It's certainly the largest spice supermarket in the area, parking is plentiful directly outside and easy access to the shop. The shop is quite large and took awhile to explore. Found some items I'd not yet found in over 12 years in New Zealand, excellent but no the sell by dates were well gone!! after this it was rows and rows of items I wasn't interested in. The bulk spice bins were usual and with some basic spices missing, had an entire row of Ghee which was good as it was more choice than usual. They also sell fresh made items which did look very appetizing. I will return as it's close but I do honestly believe the other place I use is better. The staff were 110% and when I explained about the out of date stock they did action it, I think.

Quality = Arjun supermarket. From a small to large Indian groceries one-stop shop is Arjun in west Auckland. Neatly arranged well organized. Price is a little higher when compared to other supermarkets. Having said that to the quality of any products it is worth paying this little extra.

Wide range products, clean , but not good customer service. I bought one product, checked receipt it’s says “2” so I asked cashier it’s wrong. Cashier told me to get one more product. I refused him then he refunded me. He didn’t apologise at all. If you purchase something here better to check receipt carefully.

Lots of products on the shelves did not have prices listed, hence mkaing it difficult to make a decision on what to buy. Some products which should ke kept in bulk, were packed in smaller portions which agian is a matter of inconvenience. They ahve 4 counters, but inly one counter was been operated.

Great stock of Indian food and general grocery items. Well priced. Great for everything, not just Indian stuff. But the quality of the veges can do better more consistently. Most of the staff are friendly. One lady is really sweet and helpful, which makes visiting this supermarket a positive experience. She greets customers with a smile and thanks people at the checkout. I enjoy the selection of the Bollywood music they play here on the weekends.😊

The store filled the gap of large Indian grocery outlet. Few parking in the front and more parking off Street. The store has variety of goods and is well stocked from number of countries including India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Very clean and nicely presented. Staffs are friendly and courteous.

Great location, as there is nothing clean and tidy like it close by in New Lynn area. Their prices are also reasonable, done things are cheaper others slightly more than if you traveled to Mt Roskill. Nice staff, friendly and they try to help you out if you are looking for something but not sure what 🤣

One of the good Indian supermarket available in the Auckland city. Closest to new lynn station, this supermarket is quite neat and clean and has a wide range of materials to choose from. The products are of affordable rate and good quality. The billing staff is efficient but still there is a little waiting in the peak periods. Parking space is provided for vehicles. There is an indian cafe on vehicles to add flavour to your purchase too.

I am far from being Indian, Infact I'm a fourth Generation KIWI brought up on meat & three veg. I have found however, I love the smells & flavours of Traditional Indian food. I initially went to Arjun to just have a look & see what it was all about, bit the atmosphere, really good music & huge selection had me mesmerized. As I am completely ignorant to what half of these names and spices are, coupled with so much variety, it makes it difficult to know what to get. I'm often walking around looking and looking. I'm in no hurry & they are always be happy to help me, & answer my numerous questions, but after establishing that I'm ok just looking, they leave me be to look & look while enjoying the music. I don't ever get that feeling like I stand out like a sore toe. I feel they go out of thereway to be helpful because they are happy to share there culture with those who don't know but are interested. I would go as far to say they make me feel a bit VIP. That's always nice😊 I am very impressed by the freshness and potency of there spices. Of course I've always brought them from the supermarket chains before & I tell you what...they are only a trace of flavour compared to the bulk spices at Arjun they...Ginger & cinnamon especially are😵POW!!! Awesome. I love going there it's always an experience.

This is the most organized, clean and tidy Indian grocery/ supermarket I've seen so far in Auckland. You can find all sorts of snacks, nuts, lentils, spices, famous Indian eatables n other groceries here. They also have freshly made Indian sweets n fried food like samosas n all. Of all of these I liked "jalebis" n "kachauris" the most, they were delicious! The customer service is excellent too!
